christmas program is here at last!

Well, sister cooperated and stayed right inside Mommy's belly so that she could be at my Christmas program!  All of the 3 year old kids at my preschool sang songs in our adorable Christmas attire.  I think we must have been too cute based off the audience reaction.
Here I am spotting my fan club- Mommy, Daddy, Brother, GP and Poppy!  I had a lot of love and support!

 All of the classes
I might have been a little shy, but I really enjoyed being on stage!
Singing and shaking our jingle bells
My fan club- thanks for coming!

a fun filled saturday morning

Last Saturday morning we went to not one, but two fun places!
Daddy and I went to HD and made a snowman napkin holder. Here I am screwing the holder together.
Next, it was time to paint him.
Finally, I brought him to life with some stickers.
After our snowman was complete, we headed to the church that my school is at for "Bethlehem Morning". We started out going through the cardboard box town.  We got to take flashlights in. Brother and I could have played in this part the whole time!
Next, we tried out hand at being carpenters.
We got to make lots of different crafts. We made several ornaments and in this picture we are making crowns.
Digging in the sand was also a favorite stop.
Brother was quite taken with the large birds we saw.  The parrots liked to talk to us.
Outside we saw animals like they had in the stable when Jesus was born.  Our favorite was getting to see a giant camel like the wise men had!  He let us get very close to him and we tried feeding him straw.
The animals were so calm and let us pet them. It was a great way to end a wonderful morning!

christmas season kick-off

We headed to our favorite outdoor shopping mall for a special Christmas event. When we arrived we got to go see Santa and Mrs. Claus.  Both Brother and I were pretty excited about this opportunity.
Santa wanted to make sure that Sister was in the picture too, so he had Mommy and Daddy join in a picture too.
Santa's sleigh was a golden photo op we could not resist!
Being silly with my Poppy in front of the giant tree
Being silly with Uncle Charlie while we listened to the singers.
Brother was pretty entranced by all the singers.
Mommy had participated in a promotion earlier in the month and was the grand prize winner! She won a trip to Naples, FL. They presented her with her prize before lighting the giant tree. I really wanted to go up on stage and Mommy was more than happy to have me join her.
I was excited to go show my friends and family our winnings!

very thankful

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We started our day with a brunch at our dear family friends house, and boy, was the food delicious!
Next, we went back to Kami and Poppy's house. I supervised while Poppy made an erector set truck for me to play with.
After going home for lunch and a nap (by Brother, I was too excited to actually sleep!) I got decked out in my Thanksgiving feast attire from preschool. All ready to feast!
Guess who was able to join us for Thanksgiving?  Uncle Charlie came and I was SO excited to see him!
We went outside to play a little football before dinner.

We had a great day and we have SO much to be thankful for!

november happenings

This month we have been slowing down around here a little, mostly because Mommy is getting bigger and bigger!  Baby sister is getting ready to come at Christmas time and I can't wait!
Poppy joined us at HD for the monthly project.  He helped me make a picture frame that I decorated with Christmas stickers!
We have all been raking a LOT of leaves in our yard.  We love a good leaf pile to jump and play in.
I enjoy surprising Brother with a pile of leaves on his head!
We are also into being "workers" and making things out of the cushions of the sofa. I think Mommy would like it if we did more productive things when we were workers, like clean up our toys, but that would be no fun at all!

friday fun night- pumpkin carving edition

I have been looking forward to carving our pumpkin for a while now. I knew exactly what I wanted the face to look like too- triangle eyes, square nose and a smile mouth with one tooth (since brother is one).
We took turns scooping out the yucky slimy insides. I was not interested in touching that stuff with my hands!

Then Daddy drew the face on the pumpkin to my specifications.
Next I helped Mommy carve out the pieces and then we had our masterpiece!
These are the little pumpkins that we painted a while ago.  I painted the first one for Brother, the second one Mommy made for Daddy, the middle is mine, I painted the 4th one red and Mommy added the G and dots and the last one is for sister. Our soon to be family of 5!

trick or treat newbies

I informed Mommy a couple of weeks ago that this year I wanted to go trick or treating for the first time. I have been looking forward to this day ever since!
After an early dinner, we got dressed. Two cowboys riding horses. We were the talk of the neighborhood in our precious costumes. That's right, ready to get some good candy with no peanuts, nuts or processed in a facility with nuts!
 Yee-haw!
 Rid'em cowboy!
So we set out to our first house. I was so excited! I rang the doorbell, the man came to the door, I said trick or treat... I was feeling like I was doing a pretty good job at this trick or treating thing. Then, the man tells me that he did not have any candy. I was very confused. So then we decided to try the next house.
So we knocked, said trick or treat and do you know what? Those people did not have any candy either?!  Can you believe it! Don't they know it is Halloween!! I pointed out a house with lots of fun halloween decorations and said that was the next house we needed to go to. They did not disappoint. They gave us full size candy bars. Finally, success!
This house was money too...no literally. We each got two quarters!
Kami and Poppy enjoyed all of the fun with us. It was a great night!

fall party

Today was the fall party in my class!  I enjoyed four different fun filled stations.  This was my favorite (because Mommy was helping at this one!). We made pumpkin sun catchers.  My pumpkin looks beautiful hanging in our window.
I also enjoyed the snack station.  Who does not love a cupcake, some fruit snack and a juice box!
I also made this pumpkin mask.  This is my scary pumpkin face.  We also had a bean bag toss station!
It was an orange, fun filled day!
