But you say it Mom

There is no picture to go with this post. If there was it would be of me hanging my head in shame (ok I actually had to hold back the laughter when it happend).

So it's amazing the things that kids pick up on. Maddox has started saying the word "actually". After the first time he said it I started to notice how often I say it. He actually uses it correctly to ( See I have allready used it twice in this one post). He says things like "I want some pretzels, actually I want candy". He really said that exact thing today. Ellie says it alot to.

He has picked up another word from me ( I am not the only guilty one. Jordan says it more than me). The other day, Maddox and I were driving in a car and like an idiot I gave him a water bottle without a squirt top lid. He said he was so thirsty and I couldn't stand to here him ask for a drink of my water one more time. It was pretty much full. After about one drink he dropped it and said..."DAMN IT"!!!!!

I thought that if I didn't make a big deal out of it, he wouldn't say it again. I was wrong. He has said it several times since. Today I finally told him it"s a bad word. Hopefully he won't say it anymore. If he does, I am totally blaming it on his father. I really don't say it that much, but not long ago Reagan dropped her whole drink (not water) in my freshly cleaned car and I am pretty sure I said Damn it. It's not totally my fault. Jordan doesn't think the words "damn" or "hell" are swear words. Although there was a time in college that I didn't either (miki!)

Move Over Thigh Master!

http://ellen.warnerbros.com/2008/01/hawaii_chair.php

I saw this commercial somewhere and thought it was a joke. So when my friend had this clip form Ellen on her blog, I had to steal it! (thanks Miki and Liz). I was laughing so hard. I love Ellen.

SNOW!!!!

We have really been dumped on this winter. Today, I thought it was a joke when the Bishop called Jordan to inform us that church was cancelled. That happened all the time in Virginia, but I don't remember it ever happening in Utah. I love winter when everything is covered in snow. This is a picture of Jordan trying to dig out our driveway. We may have to invest in a snow blower. Especially since I can't really help shovel in my fragile state!

Retro Aprons

I found a book of patterns for children's retro aprons. My kids love to play house and kitchen and love to help me cook. Also, Reagan's friend was having a cooking party and I thought it would be a great gift. I made this apron for Reagan's friend. I plan to make them for my girls and probably for their other friends birthdays this year. I think they would be cuter with cuter fabric. I had Maddox with me at the fabric store so I was a little rushed (sorry Gabbi). I think it turned out pretty cute though.

30 Weeks

This is a picture of me just past 30 weeks (pregnant). Reagan took the picture. She did a pretty good job! I hardly have any pictures of myself because I'm always the photographer. Anyway, everything with me and the baby is great. We still can't agree on a name however. I (and the kids) like the name Tess. Jordan likes the name Emerson (I don't hate it). He is trying to come up with a middle ground name, his latest is Lilah. I kindof like that one too, I just can't get past Tess. All opinions and any other name options are appreciated.
