Those Guys are Cool!

Jordan and his Elders Quorum decided to go caroling to all the families of Elders in our ward. What a special treat for all of them!! And they gave the families of picture of the presidency. They meant it to be funny. I hope everyone got the joke. Another great thing about his presidency are the names of the guys in it. I am not going to put the last names for privacy but besides Jordan he has, Jason A., Jason V, and Jason H. Jordan has given them all nick names to so they know who he is talking to. My favorite on is Chasez (after JC chasez from insinc)!

Big Boy Bed!

He did it! Maddox made the transition into a big boy bed. The Bed really is big. It is a full size and Maddox has to use a stool to get up onto it. My favorite part about the bedding (that you can't see in the picture) is the cargo pockets on the sides of the duvet.

The first night Maddox woke up at 3:30. I heard him walking around in the hall until he sat down and leaned against the wall holding his blankie. I think he was just waiting for someone else to wake up. Last night he went to bed and didn't get out of his bed until I came to get him this morning at 7:30! He has even done pretty well with naps. (The scab on his eyebrow is from hitting his head on his new stool.) We are so proud of him.

Good job Maddog! Next step, potty training. Yikes!!!!!!

Visiting Santa

Last night we went to visit Santa at the mall. We had to make sure he got the letters the kids sent him. Ellie didn't want to sit on his lap because it would be embarassing. Apparently it isn't cool for 6 year olds to sit on Santas lap anymore. (don't say anything to her about it, she would kill me). Good news, Santa did get the letters and said we are all on the nice list!!

Maddox is TWO!!

Maddox Alexander turned two the day after Thanksgiving. He is all boy. He is given up his sisters dress-ups and Barbies for cars and balls (well for the most part). He turns everything into a weapon to "get bad guys" . He loves anything Diego. All he wanted for his birthday was "a Diego pesent". We are so happy to have him in our family (especially since we just found out baby number four is another girl!)!
