Halloween

Happy Halloween! Hope you are enjoying Autumn!!!

Yet another soccer trophy for Alex.

Apparently this is Dixon's Iron Man "Angry Face". I love it!
Iron Man, Wizard, Buzz Lightyear, and a Jedi.

We visited a local Pumpkin Patch with great friends. We have so many photos of this fun time. That cider was wonderful!
Dixon's end of season Soccer Party.
Brady "SpiderMan also known as Iron Man" and Buzz Lightyear visited the kids school for their Halloween Parade and Parties.

We had a great time at the KC Zoo Halloween Star Wars Day.

Ok, not Halloween, but Soccer! Brogan was bored and insisted that Rich take his and Buzz's photo over and over. We have way more of these...

Back to school 2010

Alex started 3rd gradeDixon is in 1st grade.
Christopher is in Middle School! He's in 6th grade this year!!!!

Summer fun

We had the greatest summer. The 4th of July rained so much that many of the local fireworks shows were delayed. We played with pop-its in the garage!
The Summer was filled with swim team and swim lessons. Christopher and Alex were on Cyclones swim team. They spent 6 weeks, 5 days a week for an hour each day in the pool. They slept really well. Dixon passed level 1 in swim lessons! When we weren't learning to swim better we were playing. They expanded our local swim pool and added a few slides and kids areas. Most afternoons/evenings were spent loving life in the water.
The unexpected but wonderful trip to Utah.
We realized sometime over the summer that we really needed to visit the ones that we love in Utah. So off we went. We rented a van and had a whirl wind tour visiting family and a few friends. We took our video camera and Rich spent a few priceless hours with his mother getting her life story. The pictures below are only some of the fantastic memories that were had.
The hotel we stayed at had a free breakfast.
Christopher was quite impressed with the size of his breakfast.

We stopped for the 1st time at the Lincoln memorial in Wyoming.
These prairie dogs were so funny. They like the leftover crumbs from the car we tossed to them.

We spent a few hours with some good friends, played Legos and got some lunch.
I thank you dear friend.

We had a wonderful afternoon with Rich's sister Thayna, her husband Peter and son Xavier.
Gpa Joe and Gma Kay took us to Boondocks in Kaysville. The go-kart racing was the favorite. Christopher, Alex and Dixon were big enough to drive their own cars in the jr race. We all took turns in the big karts too. We ended the fantastic day by going to a Hap Ki Do (Korean Karate) class with Gpa Joe.

We spent a few days in St George with Rich's mom.
While we were in St George we got to go out to dinner with quite a few of Rich's family then spent some time after at his Mom's house.
We really appreciate the time we got to spend with them.
We went to one of our favorite places, Snow Canyon. The kids love being able to roam semi-free. I was a nervous reck half of the time.
We spent a couple of wonderful hours hanging out at my sister's house with her kids. We loved playing in the backyard and playing on the wii.

We went to the Children's Museum in Salt Lake with my brother, his wife and daughter, gpa and gma. It was so good to spend the day with them.
We visited temple ssquare
We visited my gpa and Norma.
Then got together with my family.
All in all, we probably had the best trip ever. Gpa Joe even got the tractor to drive with the boys. They all took turns driving. Luckily no one and nothing got crunched.

Back at home, this is how I found Brogan one day, asleep.
The Saturday before school started Christopher and Rich went to scout day at the T-bones game. the game never started, it was totally rained out.
