2024 Moments: Week 26

I don’t often talk about my calling as Relief Society President, but I wanted to tonight. It’s been one of the greatest blessings in my life. My family has been blessed, my relationship with God has been strengthened, my conviction in the reality of heavenly promptings has been solidified.

I believe in the power of fasting

I believe in the power of prayer

I believe that I have been delegated priesthood keys and have used that priesthood in some really magical and powerful ways.

I believe that Jesus is the reason we can talk with God.

I believe that Jesus is the reason that we can have temples on the earth.

I really love the temple. And gosh, regular attendance changes everything.

I’m not sure the impact I have had on the women in my stewardship. But they have had a lasting impact on me.

I took some pictures this week, of moments of me serving. I didn’t snag them all. But I wanted to just remember a few.

I love being Relief Society President so much. It has been my favorite calling BY FAR. And I have felt the blessings come as my family and I have consecrated our time and talents to this calling :).

That’s all!

2024 Moments: Week 25

 This was a great week!

We were suppose to be in Utah. But sickness kept us away. And it was really just a nice week. I caught up on so much!

Chris Peterson got here tonight and just having him here reminds me of how much I love Elise. Like so so so so much!!! I’m excited for him to be here for the week.

We had a cereal party at a park today. It was so great! And I loved it.

Sometimes there are moments in life that will impact you for the rest of your life. And tonight at 8:45pm, one of those moments happened. It’s too personal to share here, but I wanted to make it here.

If my boys ever read this, I would love to share about the time that I had a significant revelation, six weeks ago, and all the things that led up to it, and then… that revelation was real.

I plan to write this one down in a journal. But I’m putting it here. Just to remember the moment.

Also kept me up til 11:10. So I didn’t have time to really really blog.

Jax had a great time at BYU basketball camp. He loved it all. And did well. And then Scotty and Jen played Nintendo with him Thursday night.

It was a good week. Just what I needed!
