Lando: I love him. And he professed his love for hamburgers to me tonight.
Becs: Tonight(Holy Thursday) we sat around on the floor and had a “last supper”. We talked about who we would invite to our last super, what we would eat, what we would say. We washed the boys feet and we talked about Jesus. It was just a really sweet night.
Okay but also, tonight (Good Friday), I took the boys to the Fague’s church for a Good Friday service. Someone came up to us and said “oh it’s the Christmas Eve family”. We all got nails. And then we nailed them into a cross. The service was sweet and somber. We had a great discussion after about things. Ty wanted to know how to know which church is true. Jax felt like Pilate gets too much blame for Christs death. Then we got ice cream and now we are watching Psych
Im sorry, but it’s been a really good Easter Week. Tonight (Saturday), we went to the Seventh Day Adventist Holy War Play. They acted out pre earth life, and the garden of Eden, and the fall, and earth life, and Jesus being born and his life and his death and resurrection. And MAN. It was amazing! And felt like we were watching a play our church put on. Briggy and Luke sat on mine and Landon’s lap. Their heads touched together as they watched. It was SOOOO sweet.
Jax: I forgot to sign Jax up for a summer camp that he was planning on go to with his best friend, Jacob. It’s now full. So he most likely can’t go. I cried about it all day. When he got home, he was feeling a little blue. Partially cause he just hasn’t been able to be active the last 10 days, partially because their school decided not to let them out for recess. Anyway, he was down. But I sat him down, and started crying then told him. He immediately said, “oh it’s okay mom!” And came and gave me a hug. I know he’s bummed. I know he’s so bummed. But gosh, how did he not just flip like most teenagers would. He’s such a good kid.
Ty: He’s been teaching himself long division. So today when he got home he looked up a worksheet on the computer and printed it out. While all the other boys + friends are playing outside basketball he is in his bedroom doing math equations.
I was putting the potatoes in the oven and I hear Ty say “Alexa, what’s 1,612 x 47.” And then he listens and excitedly says “yesss!!! Mom I got another one correct.” That seems like some decent divisions he’s doing!
Luke: He was watching us play Skull King and decided he wanted Ty to win so bad. So every time Ty got his bid, Luke would stand up, put his hands on Ty’s shoulders and rub them, then hug them. Like Ty was in a boxing match and he was prepping him for the next round. It was the cutest!
Brigs: Every time brigs toots, he snickers then blames it on the person closest to him.
But on a lovelier note. We had Easter Dinner at the Picketts tonight. We love them. Brigs was playing with their toys and he wanted more out. I said he could get more out if he put the stuff he had already pulled out away. And he just DID IT!! And it was truly amazing!! I feel him growing up. And that is happy.
