Lando:
He just did the normal stuff. Work his tail off til its time to come home and then work his tail off again. And then exercise. Then repeat. He has been really great with the boys this week. From going through game footage, to play games, to redirecting tantrums, to reading books. Sometimes i'm impressed with his.... patience, love and sacrifice for them.
Becs:
I'm kind of falling asleep writing this. I close my eyes ever few words then open them to just make sure I didn'tt make any major errors. I always have errors I should probably just keep them open. It was a good week. I got Christmas cards out. I was able to do a few interviews with my counselors. I watched my friends kiddo while she went to the temple. I hosted scripture study. I hosted Jaxsons basketball team. We had the Picketts over. I went to the temple. We had the craziest Saturday. Three basketball games, 3 piano recitals, a cheer competition, a dinner and a birthday party. Today my ministering circle went and fed the homeless and we had the Peterson's over. Anyway... moving on.
Jaxson:
Jax made the decision to not play in his final two games on Sunday in his Santa Slammer tournament. He was literally passing the sacrament when his team won the championship game. When he sat down, he started sobbing. He put his face in his hands and cried the rest of sacrament meeting. I cried as I saw tear leave the palms of his hands. Doing what is right is suppose to feel good? I love him. I'd love him if he decided to play on Sunday. This Sunday definitely taught me a lot. And I wont forget it. I hope he can continue to pray with God and involve him in these decisions and feel confident and peace about whatever he decides to do. I am proud of Him tonight, for trying to keep the sabbath day holy in the best way he knows how.
Ty:
It is amazing the personality of Ty when he has gone to Tesera. He comes home so happy and ready to tell us everything that he has learned. I think he is actually really bored at school. I am grateful that he has one day a week where he can go and be challenged and pushed. He loved showing us how to write letters to read correctly in the mirror. And how he would sell "Boneless Oysters for one day only." Even though boneless oysters aren't even a thing, but scarcity makes people want to buy them.
Luke:
He is really gettting good at being big lately. At the many basketball games this week Luke would be the one passing with Brigham to keep him entertained. Luke's teacher just loves him and texts me often to tell him what a leader he is and how helpful he is.
Brigham:
I love him. He's exhausting. And we all love him
Also!! Blaire joined the family this week. I can't wait to meet her.
Also also, Laynie turned 18. We love her. I love her. I can't even believe how incredible of a human she is. She invited us to her birthday evening and Landon and I felt like we could have quit life after that. We stayed til almost 1am celebrating her. She is just the bESSSSStt!!!!
