Week 36: Brigham's Baby Blessing

We blessed Brigham Nate today and it was so tender.

Landon:
A nice easy work week. Spending lots of times looking for homes. And thinking about the future. He did a case on Saturday on a pregnant women and her 25 week baby in utero. They paralyzed the baby in the womb to try and fix the spine. His job is sometimes unreal.

Becca:
The Roylance family had us over for dinner tonight and the Hernandez family last night. I will never forget the kindness of people in this ward. They do not need to fellowship us, we are only here for a year, I feel like its true fellowshipping. Also, I did something I never ever do, I did something I've never done. I bought myself a phone this week. It felt so...... I don't know. I've spent the last 12 years just not wanting things. But on Tuesday I up and decided that my phone was old enough and I wanted a new one, so I bought one, and I bought the one with the best camera and I'm in love.

Jaxson:
He loves playing with friends. His football game was cancelled and he was so sad. He tells me sports stats like birds chirp in the morning. Constantly. Its amazing to me.

Ty:
We had a special PPQ night with Ty where he opened up to us about some conversations he was having with his friends at school. I hope our kids can be open with us.

Luke:
Is hard. So hard right now. We need to parent him better but also, he is a lot like Ty was. Strong willed, deteremined, capable, stubborn. Ty is the reason we aren't absolutely losing our minds right now.

Brigham:
I got emotional washing his blessing outfit, and outfit that is so outdated and I don't even really like the look of, but so tender and special to me because all my boys wore it. He may be my last and it makes me very sad. And Brigham is the most special little human. I am so deeply in love with this human. I love my babys so so so so so so so much.

Week 35: Luke is 3 + Grandparents

 I can't believe my Luke is 3.

Luke loves
strawberries
animals
waffles
acia bowls
singing
his brothers
sucking his thumb
watching nursery songs
singing Nana's music
reading books with mom
dancing
making faces
sitting on his brothers heads
playing gorilla with dad
fruit loops
sunshine
parks
people
papa woolf

Luke is my most social kiddo. He makes friends with anyone and everyone at the park. The other day I watched him boss two 9 year old boys around and they listened. He waves at anyone he sees. He loves all things carbs (fruit at the center). He loves watching and singing nursery songs and he loves animals.

For Lukes birthday he got:
A animal chair that Ty sanded, painted, and stenciled for him
 Fruit Loops from Jaxson
3 Chatbooks  of his first 3 years from Me & Landon
A stomp rocket & C.D. from Nana & Popsie
Leapfrog books, safari animals & barn animals from Mummy & Papa

Around the table we said, "I love Luke because:"
He likes to sit on our faces
He likes to wrestle
He loves to sing songs
He loves to cuddle
He loves me (Papa Woolf, and its true, Lukie has a special connection with him)
He is fun
He has cute dimples & eyebrows
He loves to read books
He loves to be around people

I put up a bunch of pictures of Luke on the wall for his birthday. And this kid is so full of expression and emotions. We love him so so so so so much. I was able to hold him for most of the movie today and I just was in awe at how three years have both seemed like forever (what was like before Luke) and how it has gone so fast (it seems like just yesterday we had him.)

I love you Luke Gary. I always will!

We had the very best time with Mama & Papa Woolf. I love them. We all love them. They were so great to come and visit. I know its hard to get out here but it meant a lot to us.

Til next you two. So much love forever!

Also we had a great spring break.
