Unplugged

We unplugged this week. Three full days neither of us had our phones because we didn't have service and since then we've really tried to not be on them. Its been wonderful.

We a processing and contemplating and praying about a possible big change in our family's life. I only say this because I'm so grateful for God and the knowledge that He is part of our family and He is helping us.

A Los Angeles Weekend

Happy Vacation Week!!!!

We started our week vacation on Friday afternoon. Landon, Luke & I drove 11 hours to LA to go to Jake's wedding. We love Jake so much. He was Landon's best friend in college before we got married. He was a huge part of our courtship and one of our all time favorite people. We then remembered that Landon's parents were close by at Huntington Beach. We drove down and spent the rest of the afternoon with them. Today we drove 11 hours back to Utah. Luke cried 10 minutes total. I have the best greatest baby in the world and i'll fight to the death on that fact!!!!!

The boys spent time with Auntie Lacey, Hallie & Cope on Friday! And then Uncle Scott and Aunt Jen on Saturday & Sunday!!! They had a BLAST!!! And we are SOOOOOOO grateful for them. 22 hours of driving in 48 hours would have felt like a lot more with 2 rambunctious, energetic, adorable boys. (THANK YOU Lace, Scott and Jen!!!) Hope you all have a great week.

Go Hannah Go!

I got this email this week. The Jimmer in the corner made me laugh. ALSO I miss BYU and school so much. I loved that life so much!

Happy Birhtday Jack man!

Go dad Go! "Its not a race. Its a relay!"

I love this picture. Besides the adorableness of it. This picture shows one of the biggest reasons I love Mama Woolf!!! She loves my boys (all 4 of them) almost as much as I do. But really! Her love for them (and me) is deep and real and intentional and eternal and endless. We are so blessed to have her!!!!
Love all these cuties ;).

BYU Won!

Lando:
Last night our car was broken into again. Eye roll! They stole Landon's really nice sunglasses. We were both really bummed. I asked him "Would you rather have your sunglasses or the BYU win again #6 Wisconsin." Without hesitation he said "Sunglasses come and go. But Wins last forever." I started laughing soooooo hard. BYU WON!!! Landon worked during the first half. But hurried home for the second. For date night, we rewatched the entire game. And I know we will watch it at least one more time this week. Tonight we are going over to Landon's sistas house for dinner and then we are also having one of his favorite companions(John Asper) over for games(whoops we mostly talked... next time :)) and peaches.

Becs:
So many good things this week. Top on the list though is that I was able to take pictures of 8 full journals this week. I already had about 15 journals documented (thanks to my brother Nate), but I don't have any journals preserved since Landon and I have been married. Almost every day I think, "If my house burnt down and I lost my journals I'd be devastated." SOOOO I'm finally getting around to working on it. It helps that Ty is going to preschool and I have 4 hours a week to myself. Big boys in school, Luke sleeping! Bam! I have about 8 more to document. I'm so happy about this. Landon worked his last weekend shift for two full months. Which is possibly the most exciting thing of my life right now. No. It IS the most exciting thing in my life right now.

Jaxson:
He was in to every minute of the BYU game. It was so fun. He has started sleeping with his shirt off at night. I think our apartment is hot and their room is definitely the hottest. School is hard. He comes home every day exhausted. We had a long talk about how things are going one day. He talked about how they took a really hard Math test and how he didn't do very well, and he was super behind and other kids were way better than him. Such real feelings. I couldn't help but think, "Man, does he really need to be going through this?" I've made it very clear that we don't care what school he goes to or what scores he gets or how good he is at things. We love him because he is our little boy and we are proud of him for trying. Annnnnnd he still wants to be at Hawthorne. So I guess we will continue to move forward. Also, he only missed one question on that test he was talking about. He is a giant perfectionist.

Tyler:
He has grown up so much lately. He can put his gym shoes on by himself. He can get up on the toilet by himself. He can put his clothes on by himself. And he can buckle his top buckle in his car seat by himself. He can be reasoned with. He can be disciplined. He climbed up and put toothpaste on his toothbrush tonight. Independence is the best!!! He wants to do everything Jaxson does. His cuteness is still ever present. And i'm trying to enjoy it because honestly. Cuteness does not last forever. OH and I washed his stinky blankey this week. And so now it’s no longer stinky which means.... he doesn’t want it anymore. So he’s also apparently weaned himself of his blanket. Dang it! He’s growing up. Tear.

Luke:
He is everything I never knew I needed. He is a ray of sunshine. He zaps joy and peace and love right into my heart every minute of the day. Luke Gary!!!! You are somethin else! Luke has been sleeping through the night more often than not lately. Boom baby!!

These boys. They love to cuddle so much. We leave them at night with clothes on and in different beds and they always end up like this.

One of my journals :).

COUGARSS!!!!

It was so great to have John over. He is amazing and has such an incredible story. I felt his spirit and inspired by just the few hours we got to spend with him. I really think he will help so many people in this life! I'm so grateful he came!!!
