I'm BATMAN

Lando:
Yay! Last week of 2nd year of residency whhhhattt? I still remember when we first started this journey and thinking, "that sounds like forever". Its crazy that we have 9 years under our belt and only 3 years left. He was awarded OB Anesthesia resident of the year last night! I’m so grateful for his program and how incredible it is. He has never worked so much, but he does love his work. Exhausted and content. He starts running on Monday and is excited.

Becs:
I ran 11 miles this week, 4 miles on Friday. That’s the most I’ve run since 33 weeks! I'm feeling good!! I went to a fireside with Sister Renlund. She spoke to a small group of LDS Dr Wives. IT. WAS. AMAZING. I just really really loves this journey and i'm so grateful for all the things i'm learning.

Jax:
He's loving watching the world cup! Landon and I put together a primary party. I forgot to take a picture:(. But it was a water balloon party with the two primary classes we've had here. It was sooo fun and Jax had a blast.

Batman:
He thinks he's batman. "Batman doesn't do chores mom". "Batman doesn't eat vegetables." "But batman can fly! [insert jumping off couch with his arms open] See mom batman can fly!" For his three year check up I had to convince him that Dr. "Robin" needed to check Batmans eyes to make sure Batman could see all the bad guys and that Batman didn't have any owies. "But Batman only has one owie Mom see!!! [insert cute hand pointing to the scab on his knee." I love this little batman. (And yes he is currently stomping around the house saying "BAT. MAN" in the deepest voice he can muster).

Ty is 34% weight, 22nd% height, 54% BMI.

Luke:
Is the most amazing content easy going baby ever!!! Seriously we adore him. We are so grateful for him. He's a little slice of peace around here. He is SOOO smiley and social. He sucks his fisted hand.

His two months stats were 69% weight (13lb 2.8oz), 23rd% height, 90% BMI, 93rd% head.

Oh man!!!! I may talk to this girl just about every day, but we haven't seen each other in two years!! She is amazing!!! She made the adorable photo below. It was the most happiest thing to see Maddie and her boys. Our paths have been the same for many many years, and we even had a class together at BYU. I couldn't have made it through medical school or residency without Maddie.

Weirdest hailstorm in the middle of June

Landon got these books for us!!! I'm obsessed already.

Argentina Soccer & Empanadas

Landon has glass in his foot. So he numbed himself and tried to surgically remove it with my eyebrow tweezers and kitchen aid knife..... Where is the eye roll emoji??

Summer

Our first week of summer was a big hit!!!

Our Summer schedule will look something like this every week:

Morning Chores
An Outing
Afternoon quiet time
Movie time
Dinner & Bed time

Monday: Library Day
Tuesday: Edwards Cousin Day (This is The Place Heritage Park)
Wednesday: Neighborhood Friends Day (Swimming)
Thursday: Woolf Cousin Day (Splash Pad)
Friday: Family Hike (BYU Basketball camp)

When I told Jax our plans his response was, "Well whats on Saturday & Sunday Mom?" Haha, its never enough.

Lando:
He has never worked more or been gone more than the last two weeks. In fact when Landon told me how many hours he had clocked the last two weeks I started to cry. It some how felt validating.... like, "OHHHH thats why I feel like i'm doing so much on my own.... because I AM!" It also made me realize how much Heavenly Father has been with us. We couldn't do this life without His help and I am so very aware of how much He's been helping us lately. But yes. Landon has been BUSY! And he's had some terribly sad cases. I'm grateful he's the dad to our boys. They love and adore him!

Becs:
I'm so exhausted haha! Its a fulfilling exhaustion though. People keep asking me how 3 has been. I still don't know if I can answer that. Overall I feel more content than I have ever felt as a mom. And I also feel more exhausted than I have ever felt. I ran 8 miles this week. Greta has been coming over 3 times a week in the morning to watch the boys while I get a run in. I couldn't run without Greta. My two hardest days this week were Friday and Saturday and those were the days I didn't run. I need running in my life.

Jax:
He is obsessed with our summer calendar and looks at it every morning and night. He had a BYU basketball camp and LOVED it. Landon took both keys to work Friday and we realized at 7:20am on Friday and Jax needed to be to his camp at 9:00 in Provo. Jax had the idea to say a prayer. So we did and he said, "Please help us find the keys and please help me get to my camp on time like my mom promised." My heart. Thank goodness for the help of my parents & scotty. We got Jax there at 8:51am.

Ty Ty:
Ty almost drowned this week. Maybe not almost, but he jumped into the pool without a life jacket. Luckily I looked up right then, or no one would have noticed. I also thought he fell off our balcony the other day. I can't imagine our life without him and I had to face that twice this week. He has lots of energy and is so curious and creative. I was talking to my mom this week about Ty. He has so many wonderful strengths that sometimes toddlerhood overshadows. I've been focusing on Ty's good moments lately instead of dwelling on his toddler moments.

Luke:
I can put him to bed wide awake these days. He never cries except for when he wakes up and is hungry. He is a chunker. He is AMAZING. Seriously, amazing. I just wish he slept more at night. He still hasn't slept longer than 4 hours(okay, he's had 3 or 4 five hours sleeps in his two months). 3 hours is his average stretch at night. Its getting bad and I might just have to start letting him cry it out, because I can barely function at night anymore. Thank goodness he is so happy and calm through all of it.

I love my mom so much!!!!! I'm so grateful is my mom and is here to help me be mom to my boys.

Still trying to figure out nap time or the lack of nap time.

Happy Birthday little Cope!!!!!! I love him

Leah Face had surgery. She is amazing and so positive. I admire her.

I got to learn a little bit about Lando's job. It was eye opening and so nice to see what his life looks like a little more. Anesthesiologists are amazing. This is me intubating.

Seriously i'm so tried alllll the time!!!

One of Lando's best friend from high school. Six little boys right here!!!

My dad and little lukes!!!! Gosh. I lucked out in the parent category. I love my dad so much. HE is SO GOOD. And WISE. And SMART. And CAPABLE. And KIND. And GIVING. And SELFLESS. And POSITIVE. And CHRIST-LIKE. And TALENTED. Gosh, he is probably the finest, most spiritual, most Christ-like person I know personally. I'm so glad I can be by him these 3 years.
