New Mini Van, Surprises, Bye Bye Lexus

Landon:
He was on OB this week. He is really enjoying it. There were a few times I would text him during the day and his response would be "crash c section" and I just felt so much worry for that mom and her baby. So far all of his epidurals and c sections have ended with a happy new baby and healthy mamas. For three more weeks his schedule is 6:30-6:30, M-F. We are feeling really spoiled with extra daddy/landon time around here. He ran 10 miles in the mountains on Saturday. He is loving the trail run. Its very muddy. I need to figure out the laundry part of trail running. He took me on a date last night and we were in bed at 9:45 and Landon wasn't happy about that, but I was sleepy. In my defense, Landon fell asleep at 8:30pm on Friday night so....payback!

Becca:
I had the most awesome visiting teaching week. I love the sisters I visit teach. They make me happy. I also had some really low low moments this week where I thought, "I'm done! I'm heading straight to Mexico. Good luck kids." I also told Landon on our date, "Running keeps me from killing my kids." I want to make a shirt with that phrase. It is kind of true though, I am always happy becca when I run. If I miss a few days/week.... watch. out. On Friday my brother called me and said they were coming up to drop something off. I had no idea what it was, but the boys were excited to see their cousins. They all came in and Nate handed me a bag. A walmart bag. Inside that bag was a brand new Apple Watch 3 & iPhone!!!!!!!!! WHAT? Just because? WHAT? I started to cry. I can't even explain how excited I am about both these things. Nate & Sarah are amazing and generous and so good to their very core. We love them and its NOT because they give us cool things. Its because they are good and loyal and generous and considerate and patient and fun. But we also aren't complaining about the cool things they've given us (and every one in the family) throughout the years ;).

Jaxson:
He had parent teacher conferences this week. His teacher just bragged about him over and over. He is excelling in all areas academically but honestly thats not what I care about. His teacher said he is kind, obedient, he listens, he takes care of kids who don't have friends, he pushes his chair in always, and is respectful. "He is a model student." -Mrs Stucki. And my heart just felt happy. Jax came good and i'm honored that I get to be apart of his goodness every day. Oh and me and Landon took Jax on a date to The Greatest Showman Thursday night. Jax felt soooo special staying up so late with us. Ty thought the pillow I stuffed in Jax's bed was Jax, and went right to sleep. Win. Win

Tyler:
He can take himself to the bathroom by himself now. YAY! He and Jax have been best buddies this week(jax had three 1/2 days and Friday off so they played and played). I've had moments where i'm like, "I can totally do this mom of 3 boys thing. Jax & Ty will play and i'll cuddle with baby. (I'm sure it will always look like that ;).) He takes about 4-5 naps a week now. He is so good at going into his room playing for a little bit, then lying down for bed. He is the BEST sleeper and the BEST eater ever, seriously the kid eats everything we give him. Jax is convinced its because his taste buds aren't developed yet. Haha! He has really spoiled us.

Baby:
Ok, ok, I lied. NOW i'm officially in my third trimester. I thought it was 27 weeks, but its 28? I can't see my toes anymore, and I bump into people more, and bending over is now like--"OH! Yeah, I have a ball in my stomach..." Less than 12 weeks. WHAT????

LEXUS
We sold the Lexus for $2 to my brother Scotty. My other brother Johnny gave it to us for $1 when we really needed it and we decided to pay it forward. I love my siblings so much for reasons like this. We've always just taken care of each other. Its the very best! I'm SO HAPPY TO BE RID OF THAT LEXUS. Especially since it got broken into AGAIN this week. UGH!

TOOTHLESS
We got a new minivan (about a month ago actually). Its a black Dodge Caravan, named toothless, and its amazing. I didn't want to celebrate it until the Lexus was off our hands. And now it is. And now I just feel all sorts of spoiled with my new gadgets and car. Honeslty i've NEVER had so many new nice things like this. I think i'm good for the next 10 years. Maybe thats when we will buy our first home ;).

Eating snow & talking to G&G. The good life.

Sometimes you just have to jump start a car on your own, while the kids are watching TV inside.

But it took me a while to get our van close enough to the Lexus to jump start it.

This was the end result. YIKES! But I did it.

Fact: Garbage men DONT get out of the truck and throw bags on the ground away.
Fact: If you leave trash on the ground next to the dumpster you are rude and inconsiderate and should feel guilty because you're making someone else do it.

Fact: Yes, I always end up cleaning all of this up. Stupid people.

One afternoon I asked the boys if I could lie down. So I did. For an hour. While they colored and played and relaxed. It was a sweet peaceful hour. Then it snowed!!!!!!!

My Grandpa and my older brother. Grandpa Belt was often described as grumpy and strict. But he was the most loyal family man i've ever known. And he raised 5 amazing kids with his angelic wife. Love you mom and love you grandpa!!!

I recognize that the 3 adults are eating in this picture. BUT Harper is looking and I love her most :).

One of my favorite runs ever!!!! This watch is going to change my running life!

I love this picture SOOOO much!! I've called my brother Nate, "Duck", since I can remember. He talks like Donald Duck perfectly. He told me that he considered dressing up as Donald Duck at my wedding, but I guess the costume was quiet a bit of money. When he calls me, my phone makes a duck squack. I love nate!!!!! He has helped me get through so much of Medical School & Residency. And honestly all parts of my life. Being the only girl is the best. I have 4 special connections with 4 amazing brothers who have always taken care of me. And then I got Landon. And then Jax and Ty and Baby..... I'm a girl, surround by boys, who will take care of me forever. So lucky!

Third Trimester Baby!!!

Landon:
He finished 7 straight rotations of Main OR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay. He is excited for a little change. He will be on the OB floor this month, learning how to do epidurals and things. Just in time for baby boy #3. QUESTION: If your husband could do an epidural would you let him? If you could do an epidural would you do one on your wife?? We talk about this a lot :). He ran in the snow and loved it so much. Because this boy is finally appreciating snow for the magic that it is. I've ruined him, I know :). He helped one of his home teachee people move and organize some things for a few hours! He also talked to our Bishop in Indy (as did I). We've had some pretty amazing people in our lives, and the Fishburns are some of them. We watched my brother and sister-in-laws kids for the weekend too, which was a party. And he's been making Jax laugh so hard the last hour that i've continually had to shuuusssshhh them so they don't wake up Ty from nap.

Becca:
I ran 11 miles (collectively) this week! Yay! It was the most beautiful weather ever. I took Jax on a lunch date because honestly, I feel like sometimes he gets the very worst of me. He's been on this motherhood/medical journey with me from the beginning. I am finding that sometimes he gets the worst of me. SOooooo I took him to lunch and apologized and told him how much I love him and I think he is truly one of the most special Sons of God. I went to the temple this week, but it was closed for cleaning. So I walked the grounds and wrote in my journal in the visitors center for an hour instead. I also got to go to the RS activity after the temple, thanks to Greta!

Jaxson:
He presented his research project on the Artic Fox to the first graders--he was so confident and well researched. He is also reading as many chapter books as he can to earn money for his school book fair. Remember those? Man I love being able to see some of my childhood through his life. Like Junior Jazz. I remember junior jazz so much. And Jax is doing great so far. First game is in 2 weeks. Should be a party. He loved playing at his cousins house all weekend and going to an Acrobatic show at BYU with his Nana, Daddy and cousin Hailey.

Ty:
Just sat on daddy's lap and said, "You're my buddy daddy." Its the small moments like that, that make the rest of the other moments worth it right? Ty ty is getting chunky (his version of chunky) for the first time in his life. Its cute :). He watched the new First Presidency of the LDS address us with me. Dad taught Ty how to throw a football this week. He counted to 5 once on his own and in correct. But no way will he do it on demand. Gosh I love him and his happy face so much!

Dad just said: "Remember when you were moms buddy, but now you're my buddy"
Ty (still sitting on Daddys stomach): "Yeah I your buddy not moms buddy."

Does that mean i'm off bathroom duty?? It should mean that.

Its true though, I held onto Ty longer than Jax. But dad has successfully won Ty over for good. It was a good 2.5 years little dude!! Good thing I have another coming.

Baby:
We have a middle name and a last name for you. Jax & Ty are convinced of your first name already, but me and Landon still stare at baby names at night. You've been in my tummy for 27 weeks. THIRD TRIMESTER BABY. I am feeling it at night--tossing and turning and hurting. BUT I only woke up 2 times last night and felt so happy about that. I wrote to you for an hour at the temple and I just smiled thinking about who you already are. I can already feel you are pretty special!!

Just as a side note, the last 4 hours post church have been pretty wonderful. We've just been playing and laughing and relaxing and wrestling and cooking. And now Landon is setting up an obstacle course for Jax and Ty. The goal is to get to the door without  being hit by Landon's sock bomb. BOYS:)!!!!!!!
Mine and Jaxys date!
My parents took us to our favorite Sushi place in the whole world on Monday. They are so wonderful!

I ran a mile straight up hill, then died, then we decided to hop on the train instead of walk to rest of the way up haha.

Mine and Jaxys date!

Some mothering moments just feel, magical.
