perspective

Landon and I were both able go help with our wards service project. There was a huge fire in spoakne a few weeks ago and a dozen or so homes burnt to the ground. We had the opportunity to clean up one of the homes. Their insurance wouldn't cover the clean up. There was lots of heavy lifting involved. Its amazing what a home looks like after a fire like that. Me and some other sisters spenta bout 4 hours looking for the owners wedding ring/engagement band. Lots of sifting. We never found it. The whole experience gave me so much perspective. Not that I need to feel guilty for having bad days or hard times, just made me grateful. Life is good!
.....
It's funny how my mood in the moment completely determines what I write on this blog. Normally after church I'm spiritually rejuvenated and my blog posts are so happy. Right now, I spent most of church with a toddler and I'm starving and waiting for dinner to finish. Soooo my mood, is hangry:).

Lando:
His rotation is so great right now. He's been able to work out every day and even went golfing this week. He taught Elders Quorum today! BYU lost.  And we both just loved the service project. Lando and Jax went on a date biking Friday. He also brought me home cafe rio because I was having a bad day. Cafe rio=flowers in my book! OH and we went to a fellow residents house on Friday night. It was fun!

Becs:
I visit taught 7 sisters this week. I have two routes. I cleaned the house 700 times this week. I have one house 🙄. :). I'm still training and love it but also need to figure out how to get more calories in. I LOOOOVED the LDS women's conference Saturday night. Watch it at LDS.org if you haven't had a chance.

Jax:
Soccer. School. Friends. Park. Daddy time. Today he was telling us about his talents and he said. "My talents are biking, swimming, of course soccer, running, but soccer and running are the same thing. Football, being reverent." The soccer-running comment made me laugh. Then he said "I have ten talents, but I also have water polo as a talent. So that's 11." I admire him. Haha!

Ty:
Is a messy messy messy toddler. You forget this stage. Until you're in it again. 6 more sundayS til nursery. And 4 of those we will be out of town. But whose counting??! Haha! We love ty ty!! The three of us often just sit and watch him because he's so darn cute.

the last of summer

This weeks weather was amazing!!! We went to a different park every day--5 total. Well except Monday which is all about the errands. But I have a feeling it is the last full warm week.

Ty:
He is starting to say a few word for reals. Uh-oh is his favorite. He takes one nap a day now. He still drinks from his bottle. I'm lazy. He is incredibly independent. He is a climber and explorer. He loves outdoors and the stroller.

Jax:
He is awesome.

Becca:
Did my last 4:00am run for a while. Because Landon has the next few Saturday's off!!!!! Yay. I went to the temple. And a dear friend from Indy sent us a box of stuff. I really want to go back and visit Indiana this year!! I miss a those wonderful people that changed me forever!

Lando:
Finished ICU!! He even got home early yesterday! He took me on a date first to dinner and then to a high school parking lot to... Kiss! Haha scandal. Then back home for the BYU game. 😔

It was a great week!!

Back to School

Jaxson:
Started preschool this week. We have all been so excited about it. We went school shopping Monday and had the 1st annual Woolf Back to School Feast Monday night.

Our 2016-2017 theme is "I am a child of God."

Our menu:
shrimp cocktail
tortellini soup
fruit kaboobs
rolls
Lemonade
tres leches cupcakes

I painted the theme with glow in the dark on the boys ceiling. It was a fun night!

Jax also had soccer practice and a game. They lost 5-3. Jaxs life right now... School and sports. Some of my favorite things!!

Ty:
Is so pleasant. His screaming has gone down a little and he mostly entertains himself. He can say "wow" and "dada"... I'm pretty sure at least. He loves building Legos and is really good at them for his age. He is obsessed with his three blankets. He sucks on them all through the night. He loooooves daddy. And when daddy is home, he goes wherever dad is. He loved to dance.

Lando:
Had a good busy week. Work, exercise, temple, date night, and BYU football game. We are proud of our cougs even though they lost. Ugh!!! It was so close!!

Becs:
I LOVE this time of year. I seriously can't even describe what this time of years does to my soul!! My soul.. Haha... It's true though!! I LOVE back to school stuff and I loved being able to be apart of that with Jax this year. I always loved going back to school. I love school. I love that it's starting to get a little cooler and we can start wearing sweatshirts and maybe even pull out the hot chocolate. We are about to enter the holiday seasons. Man!!!! The leaves are starting to change. Oh my oh my. Fall, welcome! and stay a while!!!! And then there is snow❤️❤️❤️
