Summer Break

We had a very chill and relaxing week off!! It worked out perfectly that Daddys time off was this last week. We ate good food, watched tv, took naps, plAyed in the rain (mostly jax), and cuddled. It was a good week.

Lando
Starts his Anesthesia rotation tomorrow. He cooked lots of yummy food this week; steaks, grilled chicken, nachos, crepes, to name a few. He rolled his ankle during church ball, but he seems to be recovering quickly. He has such a positive attitude all the time and I don't know what I'd do without him in my life!!! Landon took JAX to the zoo on Wednesday and they had a great time.

Becs
Most pains and aches are gone. Yay!! It's time to start taking care of the house again. (Boo:)!). I took Jax on a date THURSDAY to get a treat and then to play trains/read books at the bookstore. I'm getting about two 3 hour stretches at night, and then one 1.5-2 hour stretch. I think the key to my success with a new born Is my water intake. If I drink enough, he eats enough, then sleeps a little more, then so do I, and my energy is higher. Drink, drink, drink!!! It's kind of hard:).

Jax
Is a diaper throwing away machine. Rain or shine, seriously. He has played Legos for over foury hours this week, I swear!! Building them into cars, planes, and then animals. He loves his daddy reading to him every night from chapter books. He says, "mommy I love baby brother so much" a million times a day. He has become obsessed with animals! He said goodbye to his real life super heroes this week, Kade & Tenley. He was tough, I was not!!! The Hobsons have meant so much to us, and we've done so much with them. Sad to see them go.

Ty
Gained 12oz in 9 days! Passed his birth weight. Is around 8lbs 9oz now. He had his first bath and loved it. He is so good at tummy time. It helps when your head is actually on the charts (90th %). (Poor infant jaxson!!). He's had some really rough nights and really awesome ones. He poops, eats, sleeps a lot!! He is your typical newborn, but he's OUR typical newborn and that makes him crazy special :)!!!

My dear friend Andrea made these while she was in the hospital fighting cancer. She's a rock star!!

Good Bye Third Year

Yay!!! We finally finished third year. It has been the hardest year of school for us BY FAR!!! We probably grew more in this particular year than in the rest of our marriage combined. We grew as a couple, as individuals, in our relationship with God, and yes... We even literally grew as a family. I'm thankful for this year and thankful that we never have to repeat this school year again:)!

LANDO
Finished third year with psychiatry. Which was annoyingly busy this last week, which we weren't expecting. But it's over now. He has been making up such fun games for Jax when he gets home from school. Jaxson ball, train ball, mommy ball... You get the picture. He's been reading his anesthesia book at night to prepare himself for his big anesthesia rotation starting June first. He's also caught a few of the NBA games. His summer break starts now and goes til June first! Perfect timing for our family.

BECS
I've been loving life. I feel great and I'm loving having two precious boys. For me, being 37+ weeks is a million times more exhausting than having a new born. I've been blessed with awesome labors/recoverys but honestly, I DONT sleep at all the last few weeks of pregnancies. I sleep WAY more and WAY better once these eight pound babies are out of me!! (Love you guys I promise:)!)

I've obviously had my really tired moments and I've also had my "I can do anything" moments. The two differences for me this time is #1 One on one time with Landon and #2 Making Jax feel just as special and included as Ty. Landon gets home and spends quality time with Jax. Then we put Jax to bed and me and Ty get ready for bed. This doesn't leave a lot of time for me and Landon to catch up. BUT I know that will change as Ty gets a more predicable schedule. Jax has been a rockin big brother these first ten days. And he hasn't shown any jealousy or anger towards Ty and the attention he needs. But I still want to make sure that Jax doesn't ever feel alone or forgotten and so I've had to be much more conscientious about my time with him. I'm excited to continue working and helping this family of four be as happy and productive as our family of three:)!!

JAX
Is an all star! He runs all of Ty's diapers to the dumpster. He gets me things when j need them. He reads us stories while I feed Ty. He tells Ty Captian Hook stories. He helps me clean up every morning and he does his chores. I've been so impressed with him.

He played with his favorite person in the whole world one last time this week, before he moves. Jax will be sad when Kade moves, but hopefully he will recover quickly:). He convinced his us to take him to the zoo on Friday after landons test. He was so happy seeing all the animals. He also wanted to go to the splash pad on Saturday which was so fun too.

TY
Nine days old today. Whoa! He's an awesome awesome eater and diaper filler. He sleeps pretty good. Some nights he wakes up five times. Some nights it's two. His cry sounds much more like a pig squealing than a baby crying. He LOVES to suck on everything and would probably take a binki full time if I let him. He's already passed his first doctors visit. His litte face makes me the happiest mommy ever. (Especially in the middle of the night! How can you be mad at a face like that!!) We love our Tyler Logan!

LEAH
Also just a quick shout out to Landons little sis for graduating high school. We wanted to be there so so so bad. But we're proud of you. Now go conquer the world :)! Love you lots!! (Literally starting tomorrow :).... Yay!!)
