Just loving our Three year old

Jaxson
Turned three this week!!! He had such a fun birthday! He got to celebrate with his friends, open presents, have dinner with mom and dad at bonefish grill! It was such a fun day. He got a lightening McQueen, blue mator and a transformer plane for his birthday! He loves them. Lots of books and clothes too. I loved those:).

Jax is learning everyday. He can recognize all of his ABCs, and count to 13 without any help. He says his prayers all by himself and he can repeat at least three scriptures in a row without getting fidgety. I still have lots to teach him, but I'm really proud of what he has learned so far.

More than that though, Landon and I are both so proud of just who JAX is. He is very capable and independent, he has the most tender heart. He is obedient and honest. He is so patient with me. He is kind and thoughtful. He is so flexible and so happy. He is of course a three year old, but we see so many good traits already. And he brings more joy to us than any thing else EVER has!!!! He's our best buddy and we love him with all our heart.

Becca
I was so happy to have the car three days this week. It does mean we have to all wake up earlier, but JAX is the cutest in the morning and it's a fun car drive. Plus having a car makes all the difference in the world.

I was able to see one of my cousins Jason this week. It was so good to see him. He's one of my favorite people in the whole world! Other than that, we just had a good week. (Besides getting sick over the weekend.)

Landon
Landon finished his hospital peds rotation. He has been at the hospital for five months and we are SOOOO excited for him to go to a clinic the next two months. Hospitals are open 24/7 which means there is call and 5:30 wake up calls, and late nights and over nights and weekends. Clinics are open from 8-5, M-F. So I'm pretty hopeful that things will be a little more normal for the next two months. (So is Landon). Landon did awesome with the first half of peds. They loved him.

The only sad part of the week was the BYU game. So sad. Landon worked it off Saturday at the hospital and then came home around 1:00 to take care of me the rest of the day. I love him. We love him!! He's the best of the best.

Happy week friends!

Waiting for his friends to come play on his birthday!!

Congrats to my cute brother!! He now has three adorable girls in his life!!! The perfect daddy to girls!

I text this picture to Landon and this was his response, "Love that pic. He's like "I'm holding these clothes bc I have to, but really I just want this car."

I let him look at his lightening McQueen all week. I caught him in some funny poses. In fact he one time looked at lightening McQueen for an hour while I cleaned the kitchen. He's sooo excited!!!
