I Know That My Redeemer Lives

I don't know very much, but I do know that my Redeemer lives. I do know that he was born in the most humble of circumstances. I do know that he was perfect. I do know that because of my sins he suffered in the Garden of Gethsemane. I do know that he was crucified. I do know that he was resurrected. I do know that he loves me and he prays for me. I do know that he knows me and he is anxiously awaiting my return. I do know that I can only return through baptism in His church by His priesthood authority. I do know that the only true church is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I love my Savior and I thought about Him a lot today!

Together

This week we went to the Navarros for the most amazing Fajitas ever. Yum! Thanks. We had Moes for date night then went to the Hobsons to watch March Madness! We took Jax to his first Easter Egg hunt. However we were late so... Summer gave jax an egg. He found out pretty quickly the purpose of said egg. And now opens it every time thinking their will be candy inside. All it takes is once I guess.
Landon needed to study all Saturday so... we worked on the yard instead. Ha! He needed a release I guess, but I can't complain. Yard with Landon or no Landon??? Actually to be honest, even though he enjoyed himself... my childhood hatred hasn't left. I do not like doing yard work. Thank goodness Lando does.
We had dinner at J&Ms house tonight. Fish and bread. Very biblical if you ask me. Now we're listening to conference.

Landon
Barely won his intramural game Monday. How embarrassing ;)! They are now in the elite 8. Woot Woot! He didn't have school on Friday because of Good Friday. He did study the whole day though. So... it didn't feel any different to us. Watched march madness with study cards a few nights. Boo. :). He studies a lot. Medical School is tough stuff. Sorry baby... only 9.3 more years ;). Ha! Thats encouraging right?

Jaxson
Hit is face super hard today on a corner. Poor fellow. Loves loves being outside. Hence the saturday morning yard work project. He said ba bye this week. Clear as day. He communicates pretty well. Although when we had the Daetwylers over for Korean he was fit to be tied. After about 5 minutes we figured out he wanted the milk carton and lid so her could put it on and take it off.
His favorite show is Super Why right now. He could play basketball on the steps all day long if I sat there with him. His Easter present to me was 25 minutes laying on my shoulder during Sacrament meeting and an entire hour sitting on my lap the entire hour during Primary. He is in the bath for about 30+ minutes every day. And... yep... he is a growing, falling, kissing, learning, reading, balling, boy:).

Becca
My new years resolution is failing. I am a tornado. EVERYWHERE I go. I make a mess in two seconds flat and I don't even realize i'm doing it. Help me! :). I'm getting kind of frustrated about it. Is everyone elses house a disaster by 4:30 in the afternoon? The dishes are the worst. The dishes and the cloth diapers. The dishes, cloth diapers, and laundry. The dishes, cloth diapers, laundry, and so.many.crumbs. Nope everything is the worst. Actually truthfully cloth diapers are the worst.  Lando's office always stays clean. Of course. But thats only because I never step foot in there. Does that tell you something? Boo. Whatever, I'm determined to do better this week. :)
I met a women from Iraq this week. It was kind of a neat experience because it was all inspired by Thomas Naylor who is 20 months old. I was walking with him, Maybrie, and Jax to the park. But thomas saw this lady, Zainab, and was so glued to her. Pointing, pulling, talking. He wanted me to go talk to her. I even thought to myself, "He is trying to tell me something" But alas, I ignored him... what could he know anything right? After seeing her 2 more times, I finally invited her to the park. She is great! And we will be good friends! Little kids are so amazing aren't they? I need to be more like them.
I sang in church with Lacey this week. Tiff played the piano and Elaine the flute. I cried during my part. I couldn't help myself. Church was amazing today!

Oh and p.s. ran 7 miles on Saturday with Danielle. Biggest feat this week.

Thats all I think. Happy Easter.

Snow? Really?

It looks like this outside right now.

Who wanted to come here again? :)  Haha. Pretty crazy. We enjoyed some hot cocoa tonight though.

We had a really great week, though we didn't do much together. We had some awesome meals,
  • Honey Mustard Poppy Seed Salad
  • my homemade spaghetti sauce,
  • A yummy yummy YUMMY Korean dish (one of our new favorites!),
  • and maddies suggested Sweet & Spicy Tilapia--Money!
We went on a date last night with our Teddy Burger's gift card. I loved it. Landon liked it, but still thinks in n' out is better. Jax came with us and was so good we felt like we were on a date by ourselves. We came home and watched basketball for the rest of the night. Sad butler lost, happy gonzaga lost! LOVE MARCH MADNESS!

JAX
He had a really rough week. I think last Sunday jax had 4 1/2 teeth and this Sunday he has 9. More like 5 teeth and 4 little white bumps. He also was sick. I'm not sure if that was because of the teething or not, lets be honest, i'm never sure of anything with him.
He isn't saying a lot of real true words, but I feel like I'm starting to understand the sounds that he uses for things. Like Mahhlll=Milk. He has reverted into hating diaper changes, but he gives me more hugs and kisses. So i'll take it.
He learned how to turn the light off and on and when he does it he'll say, "uh-da-ett"=I did it! His favorite thing is to stand at the top of the stairs and shot the ball to the hoop at the bottom of the stairs. He makes it about 49% of the time. He is hating when I have my camera out these days. Takes after uncle duck I guess.
We are SO ready for him to go into nursery. I left church pretty flustered today because... well... he is just ready to be playing with a bunch of kids. :)

BECS
I had an awesome week. I ran every morning this week. I LOVE running in the morning. I probably get less sleep than I did before I started running, but I do way more in a day.
We played with friends a lot, which is so good for jax. I was also gone every night but date night this week. At book club we discussed Matched. It was a fun discussion. To me it is a mix between Hunger Games, Twilight, and The Giver. It has a little bit too much Twilight in it for me, but I think i'll finish the series anyway... sometime soon. I did however finished listening to both Divergent and Insurgent the last two weeks. I LOVED them. I'm excited for the third book to come out.
We had a Relief Society Activity. Diane even came! We each brought a "favorite thing" under five dollars, wrapped them, then exchanged. We sat in a big circle and unwrapped one by one. Then the person that gave the gift explained why they did. I gave away new socks. Because I love the feeling of new socks. Diane gave paper plates/bowls/napkins and a pregnancy test!!!!!!! :) Because she is hilarious. It was classic. Thanks Diane for the laugh. We love you.

LANDO
He had a really good week of studying. Probably because he didn't have me distracting him. :)  There was a seen gunman on campus on Tuesday which was cause for some concern. There was a lock down and everything, but they never found him, so maybe it was a mistake? Hopefully.
Other than school, he is listening to Getting More right now and really likes it. He is also listening to Divergent when he exercises, but that is probably more to just humor me.
He is just awesome! And we just love him!

Have a great week.

Not happy with the bow in his hair! Daddy would be proud.

Yummy Korean!!
