Abbie's Christmas program & Gingerbread Houses

This last week at school was very low key and the kids watched movies and had class parties and made Gingerbread Houses. They do these houses every year and the kids love them. The monkeys will get to do them next year. That means extra work for me. The 1st graders had a Christmas Program which was very cute. Abbie was very nervous about singing and dancing in front of the whole school and parents, but she did great. Looking at her pictures she doesn't look a bit shy. Since the monkeys are in Pre-k they don't do the Gingerbread houses yet, so I let them make marshmellow people at home. It was fun. Tomorrow we are getting 2 puppies so hopefully I will update the blog with pictures of them. Have a great day.

We went to The Kohler's home last night for Cookies with Santa with our moms of multiples group. It was so fun and Santa was wonderful. He came in a smart car with deer antlers on top and Christmas lights, Too Funny. Of course the kids all wanted to know, where was his sled. The kids had a great time and I got to hold some babies. The Kohler's ALWAY make everyone feel welcome in their home. This family goes far and beyond to make sure our kids have fun. Thank you so much Kohler Family.

The Wizard of Oz Munchkin(Mickey Carroll)

The school did a Family Reading Night last week and they had Mickey Carroll an original munchkin from the movie Wizard Of Oz. He is going to be 90 in June. It was so nice of him to come to our school and sit thru hours of pictures. I bet he was so tired when he got home. I sure was. It was so cute he brought ruby red slippers like Dorothy wore in the movie and let all the kid hole them. Mine were so excited about the red sparkly shoes. Her are some pictures of the night:

Abigail's 7th Birthday

It's November already, so that mean another Otten birthday. Abigail had her birthday party at our house. We planed to have bonfire, but seeing that it was the coldest day, I decided we should stay in. So I cleaned out the garage which took over a week and blew up a bounce house inside. The kids had a blast. Here are pictures of the party:
