National Day Parade (Preview)

14th July 2007 :: National Day First Preview @ Marina Bay

Thank you bro Eugene and Sis Eileen for giving me a pair of tickets to this very first preview. Although there is alot of stimulated and it's not a full rehearsal, but i am glad i got this special chance to be there. I really enjoy this year show compared to other years. This year is very special, maybe b'cos it's at Marina and the world biggest water platform stage. There is alot of water effects and other effect which is very different from Kallang. And it's cooler @ Marina, not so hot and stuffy. The queue was very fast too. it's lots of improvement but of course there will be still room for improvement :) But two very stupid thing that i did was:- 1. Forgotten to charge my D70 battery Pack. (Before the show really begin, my batt went flat) one cons' of D70 is i won't know my battery life! i got to risk and assume that it's not flat or full? Lucky I brought canon ixus850 with me. but quite abit of noise in the pics. haiz :( 2. Forgotten to bring a tripod for night and firework scene. haiz. how i wish i could be there again. Anyone got any tickets to spare me again?? :)

here's the show:-

More pics coming...

HFMD

Aiyo... I got 2,3,4,5 uclers and fever, I went to see doctor and guess what doctor dignosed...
HFMD= Hand foot mouth disease. I thought this only happen to children, why me?? hmm.. i am still young.. hahaha

anyway this week is not a good week for me.. attended 3 wakes in a row..
1. a 1.5yrs baby boy. passed away due to virus attack. it's like a normal cough and flu @ first and was hospitalized for two months. at the later stage, the virus infected the brain and that's what caused the death. *so sad when i see him at the wake

2. my 25yrs friend who met a motorbike accident and died after serious brain injury

3. my friend granddad who was healthy always, passed away suddenly after marketing in the morning.

Conclusion:-
1. people who pass on, can be young, old or.... no age limit
2. life is unpredictable, we got to really treasure our loves ones.
3. I must love everyone around me and pray for them everyday
4. Forget about yesterday and do not think about tomorrow. Life maybe only TODAY!

What thoughts you have?

Fitness

Weekly update:-

Took the above picture of the 'incomplete' ferries wheel@marina. Hmm.. wonder how it's look like when it's done har. Oki, apart from that, after a week of fitness exercise and I have decided to join Sky Fitness club.

Got a friendly chap, Tony Woo whom i met in the club. He is i think senior marketing/sales of the club. He brought me around the club, introduced me to the super e good yoga class, gym equipment and the clubs facilities. HE buy me drinks and dinner too.

hmm.. there is no photo of the place yet.. cos i am new to the place so i dare not take one. Will update once i got any. But ..you can visit the club website for pictures of facilities...bla bla bla

With all the introduction by Tony Woo and much consideration... I signed on the dotted lines... 12mths of membership with bla bla bla...i thought it's a good buy and i signed before the additional 2% GST. hahaha.. dunno how much i saved.. but at least it's enough for a good decent meal i think. (I must really go many times a week, to make my buy worth)

Other than going gym, yoga class, jogging @ BP, i went cycling on sunday @ east coast park after my doctor appt. I think so far .. I am following my time-table and working towards my goal. i think at the end of the day, whether i lose 5KG is not the point, i am happy that i am living a healthy lifestyle and i disciplined myself to follow my schedule and remember my goal. - Hope to achieve that for my school time table too.

No matter what... it's my life ..and I'm Loving it!
