just woke up after a few hours of sleep. Lost my voice due to too much chocolate i suppose. It has been another week of training. Tiring boy!
Glad to be back in a civilised world again. Gotta say i am one of the laziest few in my platoon in the second week of lessons. We were taught drills and shooting skills required when handling a rifle. Every lecture and every session, i slept. Without fail. The entire platoon mate of my knows. But surprising when comes to shooting its easy , ha perhaps i am too fat that's y the effects of the recoil is minimised. there was once the officer asked me , " Eh, Why is ur shooting so good, group size 0.4cm(for those that understand what it means) come lets challenge! Whats more u like to sleep rite!" I grinned back. The shooting was fun its like playing virtual cop or time crisis. Then there was the fitness test! The officers were surprised that i can actually do chin up. Ha... Oh i took medical leave for an appointment on wednesday and booked out, sneaked back home slept, went dinner with a friend and reported back to camp! Hows that.
Then in the evening, i was reading my newsweek on my bed. An hour later, my friends came back from night training, everyone rushed for FHM magazines on the table. I don see whats so interesting about that magazine! They read it over and over again. SOmeone care to enlighten me on this?
Oh then there was 4 pages of questionaire to be read out, but my officer was lazy so i was assigned to read since i was at the front row. Shocking but true, they asked me, " Whats the meaning of conscription!" gLURP!
aNOTHER one bewildered me by asking me whats the meaning of homogeneous! Wow, brilliant minds we have in our SAF! When i was told to do admin stuff, the officer commented wa lau girls handwriting ah! Aint them weird!
Pretty lucky to be posted to this platoon, there is this hcjc basketballer, jian ming tall guy. He is and will experience hell everyday. His section sleeps late and wakes up early. Extremely strict regimentation there. My condolences to him. Then there is this hcjc table tennis player.; his name is yi kit . Tall guy too. Hmm k i am short.
Wow he sweats a lot, a water tap describes an officer. He does his work extremely fast! i have to offer him powder and deodorant! Cough. Oh there is another of my bunk mate, he is nuts.crazy la, he talks on the phone for an hour every nite without fail with his gf. He brought 5 batteries. For goodness sake while talking he reads FHM. I wonder where in the world these freaks squeeze their attention and strength from.
So little rest n yet..... Gotta salute them.
Oh sirui do u know i met a national swimmer, he tapped on my back to say hi ,i think at the cook house. Lionel lee, he just returned from sea games. From W company too, same as urs rite!
Flying fish, that guy! Gonna go for chinggay now then followed by some decent food at last after a week of meals which consist of lousy dishes and 5 spoonful of rice. Ha hope everyone is having fun working and hospital attachments .Oh don forget to visit the paediatric corner , the babies are so cute. I visited the one at kk just last saturday! During chinese new yr! Feel like jus sitting there the whole day to draw them! Ha :)............ So cute

That poem.

֮
 (δͨ)

סͷסβ
˼ˮ
ˮʱݣ˺޺ʱѣ
ֻԸģ˼⡣

yoz, some ppl in class were looking for this poem for long long time, i was clearing up my com when i found it stuck in one of the files. thought it was in ʫ, but it turned out to be in δͨ. apparently the guy who wrote it was from the song dynasty and not the tang.

by the way, i changed a bit of the settings to allow for GB chinese codes. but it shouldnt affect anything adversely... i hope.

hello ppl,
hey, to the guys, met weijie on the train the other day, realised that a lot of the guys always have to shuttle between pasir ris and other places, and have no time to go home and change or wash up etc.
well, my house at kembangan is always open to all of u, wan to take a short nap b4 going to camp, or bathe b4 going out after booking out, no prob.
HA, i realised i am the only one in class living in the EAST, pasir ris to my place is abt 15 mins by mrt. all the girls too, feel free to pop by at my place if u are nearby.

just woke up... yawnz.Glad to hear that everyone is having fun and getting themselves preoccupied. Well, a week of Army life is really a once in a lifetime experience. Get to meet different people. Many looked tense throughout the entire week. Ha except me, while marching i can still afford to smile and wave to say hi to haihan and many of friends from other company. The officers in charge are pretty lenient, i mean its relative. Went into ns a different person and pretty glad i did. Dunno y but now reasoning governs
me. Yupz, glad to be in the same bunk as zhicao, a nice chinese high guy. Sad to say, but many in my platoon come to me and a few others to complain that that chinese high guy complains a lot. And that AC guy has a big ego.
On Sunday something queer occurred. Well basically , my platoon has some black sheep and when we were assigned a task, something went wrong. As expected we were reprimanded, dunno what came to my mind. After we were dismissed, I spoke in front of the platoon and encouraged everyone to preserve to unite and accept one another's differences. To think of the person beside you at every point of time. After which, gradually, many came up to me to give me a pat on the back to tell me they really respected what i said individually. Weird rite.
Guess being in 3 different non-affiliated schools from young really widened my social circle, it kind of taught me how to approach different people to look into everyone's strength. Still, vividly telling some that everyone is a leader in one way or another and that every single person is an important individual of the platoon.

A smile and an open heart is always fundamental in winning people's respect. On the flipside, i am having difficulty in trying to accept that my reasoning and not entirely my emotions that determines my actions...

A smile and relax look helps to ease the atmosphere around you, it adds on a smile to others as well. Complaining merely adds up to the tension.

Dont try to lead ,by strive to serve or else there are people who gonna criticise. One in my platoon is facing such crisis. and again he was from tchs then nj then hcjc. Sigh ...

Pray that he will realise his mistake.

Me kind of detest the mentality of army officers, they are despos really, so whenever they indulge in unhealthy stuff, me kind of start thinking of the contents of the storybook i've brought or perhaps hum some hymns to myself.

Still cant understand why there are many who aim for ocs?
Really doubt they understand the meaning of being a leader. Respect is from the heart, rank merely instills fear.
And the worse thing is that when you graduate form ocs, you might just lose the child like nature in you, ha perhaps its jus me la .

One more thing to add, i lost my appetite there, 5 spoons of rice every meal. THe food is horrible, i can cook better lo.
Ha...

Happy new year to all.
Take care and god bless :)

hey yuying! you're relief teaching too? where? haha me too! I'm relief teaching at some unity sec sch for 6 months. so it's not those 'call you in the morning and you rush down' kinda thing. Sigh must wake up so early everyday... but the pay's good lah so who's complaining.

And you're right lorh the guys are really cuter right? Almost every class got at least one. haha nobody believes me when i tell them that, they think my standards have gone down. Now i have someone to support my statement. Yeah but you're right when you say the normal classes are horrid. It's basically quite an eye-opening experience watching students throw balls of paper around the class, walk around during lesson, walk out of the class totally ignoring the teacher, laughing and sniggering when the teacher screams at them.. I observed a few lessons in the normal classes and it was damn scary lah. The students were like 'cher you look younger than us please. You try lah... bet you can't handle our class' I think i really AM younger than them coz most of them in that class have retained 1 to 2 years. Needless to say i never went back to observe that class. The kind you see in moulmein high that you thought was too drama to be real. Then that day even observed a public caning during morning assembly coz these 2 jokers went to a class (and the teacher was still teaching) and demanded that this other guy come out to fight with them. Then when the teacher dragged those 2 fellas out to bring them to the general office they ran back to the class and punched the poor guy. Hmm and they spotcheck the students' bags very often (no, not for handphones, for cigarettes). Then this girl who was caught for smoking screamed at the principal "Who the F*** are you to check my bag?!?" Then she rolled her eyes and strolled out of his office. But of course the DM dragged her back and she's gotta do dunno how many weeks of community service and they reported to the police and it's already her 2nd offence for smoking. 3rd time must go to court or something. Hmm... It's really quite an interesting experience, something you have never come across in your whole 12 years of schooling.

Oh one more thing. It's amazing how much the teachers gossip in the staffroom. Now you know why news travels bloody fast in hc. Teachers are amazing gossip-mongers. Even worse than us.

Haha sirui you make your ns to sound quite fun. Everybody keeps saying that ns is actually quite fun and they're enjoying it. I wonder if it's self-delusion or it's really true. But anyhow good for you. And your brother is in hc? I thought you were gonna warn him against going there or something. Haha did anybody go back for the cny street market? I couldn't go back coz i had lessons! Aarghh which school actually has lessons on cny eve. Atrocious.

our grand juniors are not taking physics again. apparently, 7c quite pissed with our junior class, and they pontank the outing after campfire. dunno what's the prob. and our poor 03s72 got it worse than us, they have already lost 2 angel mortal boxes in one week, even after tying them to the table. haha. our grand junior class really really lame btw.
like one guy said:" i am a really lame person" during the intro, some gal actually asked" which leg". can puke blood. and ya, we have chinese high ppl, rv ppl, scgs, BUT no nanyang. so usual 72 ratio is abt the same, i think.
like tere said, the campfire was really bad, and was rather dangerous. their burnng phoenix ended up looking like the roast turkey. and the items were not as good. i still think the backside boys were better. haha.
