Good afternoon on a Saturday; 12.12.09

I just feel that I dont seem to understand myself now,
as much as I used to.

I know that my past posts have been quite emo,
but that's not who I wanna be.
Perhaps, I've been playing self-defense all this while,
and that, it takes time to overcome stuffs that I've been through.
I'm def' not someone who says, "Hey dear, love you lots!"
and, then the next day, "I don't think I love u anymore?"
ahh, well, I dont get whad Im trying to say as well,
just forget bout it.
Life's short, why bother so much? :)

Alrights, back to last night.
After class, we went out for dinner @ Orchard,
then, Marcus recommended Cuscaden Patio
for a chilling session.
But, u know I dont fancy drinking,
so I drank very lil, compared to them.

However, Cuscaden Patio was way below my expectation.
ahahaaaa... it looked like a mamak stall,
in a closed shopping mall, that plays rock songs.
BUT, the company was awesome!

Then, we decided to move somewhere else.
Eames brought us to this pub @ boat quay.

Ordered a bottle of JD,
and I prolly drank not even 1/4 of it for $30.
But, well, money doesnt really matters,
when it comes to chilling out with mates,
its the great company that counts, right??
Thats how I think of it.
We left at about 1.40am?
The night was still young,
but I have an elder sister here,
its smtg called "curfew" :(

I had a sooper relaxing and lazy saturday.

anyhoo, an hr ago,
my sis told me that my oh-dearest grandpa
slipped and fell in the bathroom on the day before.
and, he knocked his back head and it bleed.
Considering his age, about 85 yrs old now,
its a serious matter. He's as fragile as a piece of mirror.

I really wish that I can visit him in the hosp now
and be there for him, but I'm stucked here in S'pore.
my parents told me he's fine now. :D

He's the only grandpa I have now.
He has done so much for the family,
and he also used to bring me out for lunch & dinner when I was young.
He really dotes on his children & grandchildren a lot,
but now that he's an old weak man with limited mobility,
who is often neglected and regarded as a useless junk,
which is totally not true to me.
I miss him a lot, in fact.

Seeing grandpa's health slowing down each time,
I feel sad,
and its time for me to hold his hand while he walks,
like how he used to hold my small lil hand back then. :)

Whenever he comes over to my dad's shop,
and if I'm there, I'll always hold his hand
and walk him from his car to the doorstep of the shop,
step-by-step. It feels good to me...

Back then, he used to be this strong old man,
who's kinda powerful to me in a way,
strict outlook,
but deep inside, he's a loving grandpa.
I haven't seen him for bout 2mths long?
yeah, thats why I miss him a lot...

I've been ill for the past 5days.

228th: Just wanna rip my throat off now!

Sometimes, I really hate my immune system,
for being so weak and my tonsils are always there for me,
if I've been eating too much yummy fried stuff,
and my body just couldnt take it all in without complaining.

It sucks so much when u feel sick,
or about to fall sick each time u eat something real good for 10x.
Why does it always have to be this way,
when I just love fried stuff? :'/

Not only my body is weak,
my pimples would all start popping up,
if i eat too much of mcds and fried stuff.
Now, I have 4growing pimples.
Facial is a must for this cmin Sunday! :)
body massage, oh dear, it feels damn good and loosen up.

Right now, I just feel like ripping my throat off.
Its really painful, to even just swallow my saliva/anything.
and then, food is gon be a big problem when u'r sick,
without ur mom being next to you.

I'd say that I had a happy-go-lucky childhood,
despite my parents' relationship.
Well, every family has its problems, including mine.
However, I'm so ever thankful that I can still call it a family!
Some families stay on strong together,
some families are torn apart/broken.

To me, nothing else really matters when it comes to family unity.
I can live without anything, except for family!
ok, money is important for survival. :)

As for friends & relationships,
I used to believe in forever when I was young.

Now, I don't believe in forever anymore.
Its because I've seen it with my own eyes,
how people turn their back on one another,
and step away when you no longer benefit em.

aights, I wouldnt say benefit,
but when they feel that they had enuff of you,
they'll just walk away quietly. :'/
I admit that I've done that to quite a few of my good friends.
I'm truly sorry and I've no excuse for that.

I don't blame them, its human nature.
That's why life is sucha drama,
episodes of our life,
be it happy or sad,
life still goes on...

Ever since secondary ended,
I feel that I'm no longer close to my school friends,
esp the ones who I grew up with since Primary days.
Prolly, thats the growing up thing.
U lose a lot at a blink of eye,
but slowly gaining along the way.
So, to those who are still in their schooling days,
trust me when I say that schooling days are the best days ever,
despite the exams, 7.30am school and homeworks.
Because thats where you see your friends everyday,
and continue bonding till sch is over.

Then, hello to uni life & later, working life!
Thats when u'll start to learn more about responsibilities,
commitments, credibility, punctuality,first impressions
and esp your attitude.

Thats all I want to say.
I may not have what I want in life,
but live in the moment.
Think about the less fortunate ones,
and u'll feel that your life is actually awesome!! :D

Another thing, I am a materialistic girl,
and who does not love luxuries right?
but I won't splurge my parents hard-earned money
on things that I can't afford.

I told myself that I'd only get them,
once I start earning a steady income.
I'm seeing that in 4years time! ;)

On the other hand, today's a FRIDAY!

and, I doubt I'll be headin to the mall.
Because, I have a BBQ party to attend later at night.
Its actually accompanying my sis to her friend's place.

and, I have presentation slides to work on for this weekend.
It will be presented this cmin Thursday, PR group presentation.
It is regarding Crisis Management.

How does that sound?? Interesting?
My part will be about the initiatives taken by SIA to get its image back on business.

Slipped & fell on street!

I like my outfit to uni today,

BUT, while I was walking home,

I slipped and fell on the street,

because it was drizzling at that moment,

and I was trying to walk home fast.

Then, I felt so embarassed

because people in the cars prolly saw whad happened

as they were waiting for green light.

SO, I quickly got up, went off straight.

It hurts a lil now, still.

aihhh~ clumsyness!

Last Saturday was totally awesome~

Went shopping with my sis,

and, ended up, she bought more stuff than me.

I only managed to get a blue MNG top.

We spent the longest fitting room time

in GAP.

Sis was tryin on her long pants,

and the fitting room guy was really funny.

or, perhaps friendly. He's a Malay, so no.

Apart from that,

we had Teppanyaki at Food Republic,

Wisma Atria.

Its def worth it for just S$ 12,
without drinks.

Just rice, soup, black pepper pork.

7th Nov 09; Saturday.

Back then, I lead a very busy, hectic life.
Melissa always calls me the "social butterfly". LOL!
Busy with outings, movies, yamchas, shoppings, parties, etc...
till the extent that my parents actually got angry of me,
and yeah, thats when I started slowing down...
I remember that I used to lie a lot to my parents,
for the sake of goin out and all u know.

Oh and during my stay in Subang,
I used to go out till really late, like 6.30am = bedtime.
and yeah, I even drove back from SS15 on my own at 5am.
We went for yamcha, then Shisha/pool/foosball, then to CC.
I really loved that kinda lifestyle at first, but I got bored of it later.
It's def worth it for experience sake kan? hee*

But now, my life is as plain as a blank piece of paper.
and, I'm not very good at lying to my parents anymore.
I tell them everything truthfully, like who I'm goin with, and all.
Perhaps, I've matured a lil ? :)
nahh~ it just feels like I've been so wild and outgoing back then,
that I have prolly used up all my good times ticket in life already eh.
Does it make sense to u? well, it does to me.

Sometimes, I really do miss that outgoing side of me.
and, I miss all the people I used to hang out often with back then.

To me, life is a really weird thing u know?
I have my reasons for saying so.

The days are so long now ...

Anyways, I just did my exam ysday. It's okay for the quests.

hello. Im damn bored now, studee-ing, if not, its essay time. dangg~
My brain sorta auto shutdown eh suddenly. LOL!

and, there's an acting crew downstairs,
filming a lorong scene kot.
But, they were pretty noisy, so thats why I went to check out.
I guess they are just the really local new actors/actresses. Not familiar to me at all.
Did I mention that the MediaCorp artists often film their scenes at this shoplot next to mine.
Its a Kopitiam scene, I often see em comin over 2-3times a week to film a scene.
Met some of the famous faces of S'pore's cina local actors/actresses. :D

Okays, bac to essay.

Then, it will be another new sub, new lecturer to adapt to.

As for today, its a long day, lecture frm 8.30-11am. Then, tutorials frm 12.30-3pm.
Obviously, there are bout 20mins break in btw,
and the air cond is kinda cold, and me with no cardi.

Despite the long day and sleepyness in class,
I had lotsa fun interacting with 2 of my classmates,
who are sitting next (Suzanna) & behind me (Jerome).
Nice casual people, I feel kinda comfortable mixing ard with em.
I don't restrict myself in any form, when I communicate with em.
I showed em a couple of pics in my cam,
my hometown friends, taylors friends and Dino the small but OLD dog! ahhaaa...
and then, Suzanna showed me her cosplay pics in her iTouch.

New environment, new interesting people ard.

Anyways, this week highlights...

Started uni on the Monday; 19th Oct, 8.30am.

I sat alone, because I don't know anyone there at all, completely!

It was erm pretty boring and my palms were sweaty, nervous kot?

On the Tues, things got much better.

A girl approached me and asked if she could join me.

I definitely said YES, with a big smile! =D

I was darnnn happy that, at least I neednt sit all by myself again.

She's Suzanna Wan, a mix of Chinese & Malay yes.

My 1st impression of her was erm, she's quiet, soft-spoken and kinda knowledgeable girl.

We've been sitting next to each other till Friday class.

We had lunch breaks together, explored the uni a lil. hee*

Well, my schedule is quite ok.

On the odd days, classes are frm 8.30am till 11.30am.

As for the even days, classes are frm 8.30am till 3.30pm, due to tutorials.

Its normally 3hrs lecture, 3hrs tutorial, on the same subject.

Its completely diff frm other uni, because we study a subject at a time.

Thus, more concentrations on it.

and, at the end of every sub,

Thats basically whad Im goin thru now.

hmm, made a few more friends yesterday during break time.

Interesting and friendly ppl.

I don't really feel awkward communicatin with any of em yet.

Met about 7-8friends, of mix genders,

one frm China, one frm Vietnam, one frm India, and the rest are locals.

I guess thats all for now.

Its a saturday neways,

so a lil shopping later at Orchard,

with my sis of crs.

Haven't managed to get hold of their mobile nos.

Will do so by next week.

and, also do expect pics of my new classmates in the next post, hopefully.

I'll try to discard my shyness, and be sooper interactive with em,

so that they will be nice to me tooo...

A tiring weekend...

I had a tiring weekend!

Saturday; 10.10.2009 -

-I spent 3hrs in the evening cleaning up my wardrobe. Before this, it was filled with few heavy boxes, pc stuff and etc (the landlord's stuff) and also, extremely DUSTY! eeeekkk*

I am a person, who is extremely particular about hygiene & being neat,
an OCD, said my friend (Ching)

Thus, I wiped the cupboard for like 10times and, it looks pretty huge when u'r wiping it.
But, after the clothes are in, it looks just fine. ahahaa...
Oh and, thanks to my elder sis.
She did most of the cleaning. I did the washing. LOL! :)

My elder sis encouraged me when I was so darn tired of wiping.
She said, " Think of ur lovely clothes & handbags!
and, whoknows in future u'r gonna fit some of ur loves to be kept inside! "
Need i mention who are my loves? nahh~
Those who knows me well, understands it. ;)

Then, we showered and had our 3dishes meal at Toa Payoh.
Met up with her friend, he's doing part-time modeling.
I like listening to his modeling experiences, including wearing high heels too.
He bought a pair of heels frm Charles & Keith just for his modeling stuff.

Sunday; 11.10.2009 -

- Woke up at 12noon sharp.
We had an appointment awating for us at Crystal Jade Palace Restaurant (12.30pm).
We reached Taka at ard 1.20pm. LATE!
but, still, we managed to get our table and started ordering lotsa dimsums!
yummylicious egg yolk tarts! I ate most of it. aahahahaa...

- Then, we walked to Paragon for MUJI.
Its a shop that sells stuff from Japan, made in Japan.
Good quality with reasonable prices. :)
Bought a small box for my accesorries, S$11 only! =)))

- After Paragon, we walked to Robinsons at Somerset.
Sis wanted to get her blusher from there.
In the end, she bought the Bobbi Brown almond blusher for S$ 39 only.
Cheap right? exclude the conversion of crs. hee*

Then, we crossed over to Orchard Central.
Walked ard, and i really don't like it there. It totally sux, despite the beautiful outlook.
Took MRT to Novena for our facial at Dermalogica! :) yaysss*
Thats whad I've been waiting for, a good facial with massage!

After facial, we took MRT to Toa Payoh.
Sis went to get her Hepatitis A jab.
Then, I managed to persuade her to have McD for our dinner.
yummm* I've been waiting for a month. ahahaaa... hee!

Alright, I'm done with my weekend sharing.

Timetable & med check-up

hello. good day.

2days ago (tues), went over to the uni to get my med check-up form,
and paid the 1st payment fee,
as costly as S$ 9057.55 (RM 22 191).

and, then, 5mths later,
I gotta pay another S$ 7500.

Well, I def' can't afford to pay S$ 33K cash,
so I pay by installments, every 5mths, we pay an amount of fee.
danngg~

I really gave a deep thought about it this time,
cause the fee itself is pretty expensive due to the conversion rate & 7% GST.
hmm, looks like I gotta cut down a lot on my shopping,
and be a total geek who studies 24/7.

Ohh and, I got my TIMETABLE too.
Its so diff compared to Taylors.

How do I go about it uhh? Okay, lets put it this way.

Each month, there's only a subject to focus on,
an assignment & a 3hrs exam at the end of the month.

In other words, every month I have an exam paper.

At first, it does look kinda relaxing and easy, but I doubt it will.
Instead, its gon' be sooper intensive and a clock-ticking course.

and hey, guess whad I first looked at when I got my timetable!!!

The morning class time siaa! 8.30AM everyday (Mon-Fri)

Fuckingg early,
and I gotta go by buss,
which makes me have to geddup wayy earlier
than my schooling days weyh! :'(

a lil regret, but "Nasi sudah menjadi bubur". :/

As for yesterday, I went for my med check-up all by myself.
Took a bus to Novena MRT,
then, took the MRT to Yio Chu Kang MRT station.
After MRT,
took bus no. 13 at the bus interchange to AMK Avenue 6,
Block 715; SATA medical centre.

After med check-up, took bus no. 86 to AMK bus interchange,
then waited for bus no. 130, a direct bus home.
*phewww~*

Gotta collect my med report tmw, the same route again. gosh!

I'm down with sorethroat now :( ahh, not again!

So, I came over here 2weeks earlier,
to settle the fee payment, student visa & also,
not forgetting the unwanted medical check-up.

211th: Happy 19th birthdayy to MEEEE!!!

First of all,
30th of Sep will always be the expiry date for almost everything,
such as promotions, sales, food stuff and etc... :)

Nevertheless, it also happened to be the day
I was brought into this beautiful place called Earth!
I've been celebrating my birthday for the past 18yrs.

Somehow, this year's (19th) doesnt seem to be as awesome as the prev yrs.

Prolly I've gotten bored of it / many things have changed,
so it doesnt feels the same anymore.
I don't feel excited much,
okayy, well a bit of that of course, nothing more.

However, this year's birthday was no biggey to me,
no celebration, nothing.
But, its alright, I've a long way to go, so chill lar right?



I received lotsa birthday wishes through SMSes,
phone calls (sorry to those that I didnt manage to answer ur call),
Fb wall of crs (banyak lagi tu),
and a surprise frm my bestie (Melissa Ong).



Mel texted me in the afternoon,
"Go check ur postbox! Love ya!"

I was def curious, so went to check it out!

Found a white envelope in it,
its a hand-made bday card, filled with love,
so thoughtful of herrr kan!

Not forgetting those who wished me via Fb,
thanks a lot!
It feels really nice to read birthday wishes,
esp from the ones who aren't close to me / havent been in touch with for sometime. =)

Birthday Surprise by 'em!

yays, Gossip Girl Season 3 is finally outttt... pheww*

However, looks like I've gotta wait,

because Im really bad at dwlding mvs! :(

and, today's also a sooper awesome day for me!

Angelyn texted me at 8am the day before,

about them comin over to Mlc for a day trip to MAKAN saje weh!

syiok giler, mentang-mentang lar they tengah holiday now.

Sometimes, I wished that I'm still in the same class with 'em,

because, its really fun studee-ing with 'em, minus the assignments part lar eh.

We used to have lunch at Tony Romas for at least once a week, syiok eh!

We also celebrated others' 19th bdays at Tony Romas too!

ahh, Im gonna miss my turn deyh! not fairr siaa... :(

and, We even went Ipoh just for our grp assignment regarding FOOD!

We all did so many things together,

cracked silly jokes, uttered funny badwords (MAHAI!),

laughed a lot together VERY LOUD esp and birthday surprises too...

aww~ im so missing all those moments, its worth it no matter whad!

Tho, we weren't friends for a long time,

but, it feels like we've been friends for decades deep down.

So, Zhao Wern called me at 12noon,

told me that they've reached Mlc.

and, I met up with them at 3.40pm for SATAY!

Of crs, satay was on me, because I'm sorta like the host for 'em.

and, thats also the least I can do.

Ordered 50sticks with 4ketupats = RM44. cheap kan? sedapp tu!

Then, brought em to get those dodols,

nyonya stuff frm Jonkers & Tan Kim Hock.

and, to satay celup for dinner.

After that, Zhao Wern suggested to makan the cake they bought frm Nadeje earlier on.

So, I gave her my car key and offerd to accompany her to my car,

but she strongly refused! weird kan?

I totally didnt realise that they bought the cake to surprise me.

I suggested to them that the cake can be for supper when they get back to KL.

but, manatau ish,

syiok syiok nanyi HAPPY BIRTHDAY so loud at the sate celup shop.

I was so surprised & malu siaa, public ma, kenot blame me tu.

Frankly speakin, I've never had any bday surprises before.

So, this was my first surprise,

"OMGG!" that was my 1st expression.

hahahaa, I just cudnt stop laughin there, because

I'd say that I was touched at that very moment,

and wished time cud have stopped there a lil longer for me.

Just thank GOD that my tears werent rollin down the cheeks. LOL!

ahh, thats why lar I'm so in LOVE with this bunch of chicks eh!

We spent almost an hr in Padini Concept Store.

Decided to make full use of my Padini 30% b'day voucher!!

We both eyed the same black pumps, flip-flops & handbag.
