In just 4hrs 40mins, 2008 = OVER!

I'm so excited to welcome 2009 & lets hope that it'll be a spanky new year for me!
With much of joyful moments & experiences, and less of misfortunes/obstacles.
However, im gonna miss 2008, for the reason that,
it has many memorable moments, thats worth remembering for. ;)

I'm gonna go have my last 2008 shower & head on to Harbour Club here in Malacca
for a New Year bbq/pool partayy!
Its sort of like our gathering too~ woots!
Getto catch up with everyone on the last day of 2008!
Its been a tough & moderate year tho.

Mistletoe !!! <3

Christmas is commiinnn...
I'm not a Christian, but over the past few years,
Christmas celebration has been 1 of the most memorable & joyful one.
Thus, christmas countdown is something
which i'm lookin forward to now... teehee*
Esp this yr, i'm feelin kinda very into the chrismassy mood!
I have my English paper left for tmw's midterm. *fingers.crossed*
Soon after the paper, im hitting the malls for
christmass shopping (includin pressies)!

My friends told me bout the "mistletoe" thingy today,
during lunch break.
And, it sounds pretty interesting, so i googled bout it.
guess whad i've found??

Here's a lil smtg to share with yall,
to create the chrismassy mood in YOU!

Mistletoe is also said to be a sexual symbol,
because of the consistency & colour of the berry juice,
as well as, the belief that it is an aphrodisiac,
the “soul” of the oak from which it grows.
The origin of the tradition of kissing under the mistletoe is vague.
SO CUTE! xD

The correct mistletoe etiquette is for the
man to remove a berry when he kisses a woman.
When all the berries are gone,
there's no more kissing permitted underneath that plant.
A legend states that ...
a couple who kisses underneath mistletoe will have good luck, (thumbs.up)
BUT, a couple neglecting to perform the ritual will have bad luck. :

Specifically, it is believed that a couple kissing under the mistletoe
ensure themselves of marriage & a long, happy life,
while an unmarried woman not kissed under the mistletoe
will remain single for another year.

Thoughts / Nuffnang Kakiis Night Out

I'm back here bloggin,
can't seem to concentrate much on
my midterm this time.
ahh, yeah, it sucked to be in such a position. :

However, i've been wondering a lot on my mind lately.
hmm... whether if the cycle has begun/soon to begin??
Its always happening to me,
but nothing comes out of it.

I have been questioning myself over & over again.
Why is it happening to me all the time,
of all people??
Is it some sort of bad karma?
Whad have i done wrong?

I've been tryin my very best, to just be myself,
to improve on my bad attitudes, to love myself,
to learn to appreciate things/ppl & its a never ending thing,
for the reason that, no one is perfect...

and yes, i've failed once & it hurts so badly.
It took me sucha long time to heal it,
and now that its numb.
how does that sounds? a cold-hearted girl?? feelingless?

Nuff said, i have -ve perceptions on it now,
despite the fact that i'm longing
to meet a new chapter
in my life.
I've had enuff! It changed my whole attitude somehow.
It often makes me feels so lethargic,
all emo and a -ve person.

I'm grateful to GOD that,
he gave me a chance once,
a few years back.
I'm just askin for another chance,
a brand new one.
Is that too much to ask for, my dear GOD?

I feel so lame like desperado,
typing all these out in words,
arrangin em into sentences,
according to my thoughts.

ahh, i've failed to achieve much resolutions for this year.
In just 10days time, 2008 is OVER and DONE with.
but, m still the same ol' me...
Will there be a new chapter in my life for '09? hmm*
-.- whad are my 2009 resolutions?
I'm thinking hard bout it now,
as it concerns my degree too.

I'm havin midterm this cmin Mon & Tues.
3subjects: Social Psychology, Media Appreciation & English.
Hopefully,
i cn start concentratin seriously & get good grades,
in order to have a good CGPA in the end! =)

Our friendship started off when we were only 14yrs old.
I still remember the first day we met!!!
We were classmates & one of the earliest on the first day of Form 2.
and, that was also when i first met ur friendly&sociable mummy. ;)
I sat on ur left, next to ur back neighbour's table,
who was Anngie or err.. cnt rmb who was that.
lols* but, i really do miss those days of high school,
untill the day u left me all alone & shifted over to USJ12.

Nevertheless, we were closely in touch,
phone calls for long durations.
ahh* those were the days!
how i miss it now uhh...


I'm glad i met up with u both!
One of the happiest moments in my life, laughters & craps & jokes
with good friends like yall is meaningful enuff & hard to come by.
Therefore, the RM13 effin parking fee doesnt really matter tho,
whad matters is that i getto meet up with u guys & had an awesome outing,
despite walking ard KLCC aimlessly,
but our conversations were overpouring & nvr stops,
not even when we're makan-ing! ahahaaa...

CHRISTMAS is on its way!!!
I'm excited excited excited,
tho i aint gt any plans yet.
but this year round,
i'm gna be celebratin it here, over in KL.
Wanna try a new environment!

Fuel prices reduced by another 10sen

PETALING JAYA: Petrol & diesel prices will be reduced
by another 10 sen from Tuesday.

The price of RON97 petrol is now RM1.80,
while RON92 is selling at RM1.70 a litre.
The pump price of diesel now stands at RM1.70 a litre.
In a statement, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said,
the reduction in the fuel prices was in accordance with the drop
in the global crude oil price.
The retail price of petrol & diesel had been gradually lowered
from its high of RM2.70 & RM2.58 respectively in June.

Attended the Nuffnang Kakiis Night Out at MOS, Sunway.
It was a pretty awesome experience & fun too.
met lotsa bloggers out der & the games were really challengin,
esp the Kakiis Extreme! Its gelifying deyh.
will elaborate more on that later in the next post.

and yeah, Soon Heng brought his DSLR this time.
So, we have nice piccies stored in his DSLR memory.

It was my 1st part-time job, and hell yeah,
i gained lotsa experience from it, definitely!

Apart from that, i even met a number of new friends
from various faculties in TCPJ/TCHT!

Sem break ends this Sun (30/11)

My sem break ends this Sunday :(
Drivin' bac to Subang this Sunday noon all by mysef, long journey

This 3rd sem a.k.a last sem for the foundation course
will begin this c'min Mon (1/12).

and, the timetable is a massive disaster to most of us whos in it.

I have classes almost everyday, xcep Weds (OFF day! date me. ahahaaa)
All classes begin at 8 AM till 5PM (Mon & Thurs)
So, whad do u think bout the timetable?

Jonker Walk Shopping Day

I spent my day pretty well today.
I have never really liked going to Jonker Walk.
It's the weather that i detest! the-scorching-sun ...

BUT ...!
I went to Jonker Walk this afternoon.
And, i kinda liked it there.
Prolly cause the goods there are attractive ennuf for me ;)
I did a small shopping in bout 3 shops der.


1st shop : Accessories.
~ decided to get accessories for few of my guy friends.
For the reason that, they gave me awesome moments (eg. yumchas, movies, parties)!
It's just a small gift for em.

2nd shop : Clothes.
~ I'm a big fan of "Little Miss ..." tees. (heee!)
So, i bought 4 "Little Miss ..." tees *woohoos*
One of em is for my lil sis & guess whad "Little Miss ..." i got for her.

My parents laughed at it. ahahaa ...


3rd shop : Jonker Gallery.
~ bought a special gift for a friend of mine.
I'll reveal that in ard next week. ;)

After much walks and feelin' sweaty,
we both (me & mel) decided to treat ourself a bowl of 'Baba Cendol'
at one of the famous cendol outlets. *yummylicious*
[thumbs up!] :D


Then, we headed home.
I watched an ol' movie entitled, "In her shoes"
Starring Cameron Diaz, Toni Collette & Shirley MacLaine.

Maggie and Rose are both best friends and polar opposites when it comes to values, goals and personal styles.
Maggie is a party girl who barely graduated from high school, recycles jobs as quickly as yesterday's newspapers and believes her biggest asset is her attractiveness to the opposite sex.
Rose is a Princeton educated attorney at a top law firm in Philadelphia.
Her low self-esteem regarding her physical appearance has left her dating life non-existent. Rose's one joy in life is shoes (because they always fit),
but unfortunately she has few social opportunities to remove them from her closet.

On my opinion, i loved the movie!
Perhaps because, its bout sisterhood. hee*
Rose resembles my elder sis (workaholic), while Maggie resembles ME.
[but, do exclude her improper behaviour o' yeah] :P
