i would rate it amongst the top adventure sport activity i have done!

even better than bungee! coz bungee is scarier and lasts for a few seconds!

while this was a full 3 hours of pure enjoyment!

recommend all to try it out in nepal!

i went on the trishuli river!

supposed to be the calmer ones.

its also so much cheaper than elsewhere, it cost us NPR 1350 for the travel, the rafting, plus lunch!

definitely worth it.

its such a beautiful journey on the river downstream! there was this moment when we were between 2 hills and they were approaching us from the sides, and it felt like that scene from LORD OF THE RINGS movie where frodo is on the boat and the 2 huge statues of old kings come up from nowhere!

majestic experience.

thoroughly enjoyed myself.

this is the western tango / hip hop performance, which i took part in at the last minute, like just a week before the event was about to happen. the reason was that i got a call from madhura asking for help as one of their male dancers had left and they were stranded. i had time on my hands, although i did take part in another dance, i managed and those guys would have cancelled it if it wasn't for me! (well thats what they told me anyway)

so made a mess out of my steps, but still, it happened!

this was the eastern dance on 'desi girl' . we all had real fun setting it up, also a last minute preparation, plus we all had to take time off from our duties! a feat in the end!

turned out just fine :)

this could possibly be our last expressions performance !! and we are winners!!

i am bored

i am a bored person today. there's hardly anything i did today. what today? i slept after 5 am and woke up at 5pm , what today ? its more tonight! this messed up sleep cycle of mine began since i started my ward duty, which is very tiring. you have to work 28 hours at a stretch! plus some consultants are really irritating, and when you are irritated in the first place, working is less enjoyable, tougher, your colleagues seem irritating too! anyway, i just hope i can do a few more ward duties and leave for singapore! its been a long 4 months since i got my final exam results and i havent been home yet!

that sure will freshen me up. :)

the best thing about obg ward is that there are always cute newborns to look at! :)

since it was the first time we went kayaking, all of us. i think we overdid it, and with the over enthusiasm, we strained our backs.

ken fell first and then i did the next day. suffering from serious back stiffness and backache.

it was so bad we couldnt move.
but fortunately the medicine i took worked and am much better today.

:) so lesson learned is, dont be over enthusiastic when you like a new thing.

new steps in life.

I have officially cleared my med school. 

I have got 68% aggregate overall in final year and 69% aggregate overall for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and final year combined.

All my batchmates have passed too!

I have also started my internship 4 days back. I am in the Obstetrics and Gynecology dept.

my holiday in lucknow was amazing. 

my cousin got married. so this was the first wedding in our generation!

was nice to meet all the relatives and receive blessings from them all!

going to put up the pics of the wedding soon.

another blog

i just gave my final year exams!!

it hasnt been 2 days and i feel like i'm far away already.

the results should be out in another week or two.

God willing, i will pass along with the rest of my mates.

i miss my family right now, but i also want to enjoy the rare few times we have as close friends with these hostel mates of mine.

so i'm in delhi with ken and nitesh at tushar's house. taking the time to chill out and explore and have a ball. his brother kshitij is the cream on top which adds all the humour to our group.

if my plan sticks the next few days, i will have to apply to the MCI for eligibility, and shop for a few essential items.

then will be leaving with these guys to see the Taj Mahal in agra, finally planning to make this trip and stop embarrasing myself when people ask me if i have seen it.

then off to allahabad, nitesh's home. gotta see rajini nani there as well. then after a couple of days off to lucknow, where we'll all stay at my nani's place.

she has been a big blessing , all through my life, but sepecially supported me through these exams with almost daily calls. i pray to God i can give her back for whatever she has done for all of us, unconditionally.

these guys plan to stay a couple of days and explore lko with me, and hopefully karan singh (another batchmate) who plans to show us ard a few days.

lets see how this turns out.

halfway through our journey we will find out our results. it would be a drama then, hopefully tears of joy.

if this is it, then i wanna start a new blog for my internship period. this will be a new step in my life. i'll not only be officially starting work and earn money, but i will also be directly involved with patient care.

will learn the practicals of medical practise. 

i want to start off with a new blog for my experiences during that period.

plus i also wanna keep this blog updated till i'm in nepal.
