2 years today, hope we last longer than ever insyallah
hey there, I realise that I have been updating you more than often than the missus of the blog.
Today, I am filled with an assortment of feelings to have grasp this relationship this long. With happiness, there is sadness and with worries there is belief that we will be able to pull through.
Last night, we had a very long convo which affected both me and her greatly. At times, I admit, my personalities is sometimes hard for one to link with. At any one time, I can be a person you least expect and it would take one to gracefully understand how I operate in order to know what to expect from me.
What I didn’t know was that I didn’t expect it to be very much a burden to her. It was a real shock to the system to be revealed in such a manner. Maybe being different has it disadvantages.
For me, I have always stayed true to you being the only exception; very much to the song that is playing. There is always a reason for me to be happy when we achieve milestones. Even though the ride ahead may be a hard and bumpy one but it goes to show that we can do it if we believe that we can and today’s 500th is a sentiment to what we have always truly believed in.
I admit, I may not be the perfect boyfriend around, I am poor and at times misunderstood. I behave differently in different environments and will never be what you expect me to be when you expect me too.
Believe in this though, that I am always loving you and despite me not showing it at times, you know that you very much my sunshine. When we’re together, you realise that I treat you like a gem and these are moments that is meant to be kept between us. I am different and although I am never mushy at times, you would realise that when you tone down on the need of attention, naturally, it will come back to you.
Let me love you naturally, give me the space to breathe and express myself and you’ll realise how much more different I really am.
500 days: I am pathetic to you, poor, unromantic and boring.
But for a Lifetime: I am special, different from the rest and always there to entertain your nonsense regardless, rain or shine.
