guess the time now! it's 4 plus in the morning. cool hurr? :D cause just now when i came home, i got so tired that after i bathed and had my dinner, i went to sleep. hahaha. Slept till 2 plus then do camp proposal till now. however, i am still quite refreshed now :D

okay, nothing much these few days. Planning camp everyday plus campcraft competition on monday, wednesday and friday. that's like a routine already. anyway, i can finally have a break after this friday! yeah! :D waited for this day for damn long already.

and also, i haven't started on my holidays homework. shit man. half of the holidays are already gone if you realised. got to start these few days, if not i am dead.

and and, these few days got to thank this wonderful person who talked lots of crap with me :D if not these few days would be damn boring kay. haha! and i shall say this although you are supposed to be the one saying.

YOU ARE COOL KAY! :D

haha. okay that's all for the day. got to sleep now cause i still need to plan my camp tomorrow. bye! :D

hey everyone! here to post about ATC (Adventure Training Camp)!!! :D actually nothing much. i don't want to describe the activities one by one so i am just going to give a brief description of the camp and do some reflections :D

first day, we went late cause we had to bring some firewoods to the campsite. when we reached there, we were split into groups and i was in HALO! :D bryan ming hao and i were in the same group. so the first day activities were:

1) tent pitching
2) orienteering (it was fun and interesting!)
3) dinner
4) talk by mr azman (he talked about some life lessons...)
5) treasure hunt (rather fun.)
6) mass debrief
7) unit debrief

haha. and the cool thing was there were no sentry duties and fire drill!!! :D

so in the second day, we woke at 5 plus and the all the activities started! they were:

1) morning PT (it was just a short one.)
2) breakfast
3) ATF (this year's one is fun man! except there's one damn difficult.)
4) lunch
5) supposed to have rafting but it rained so the whole afternoon we practised some campfire songs and learnt some cool songs :D
6) dinner
7) CAMPFIRE!!! :D (there were lots of funny performances. especially sebastian's group from the Sec 2 and the clifton's group from Sec 3s. CIs sang some nice songs before the end of campfire. wahh it was GREAT man!!! :D)
8) played a lame game we came up ourselves :D
9) mass debrief
10) unit debrief (talked for damn long and it was quite fruitful man! :D)

last day, the day we had all been waiting for at the beginning of the camp :) the activities were:

1) morning PT
2) breakfast (had french toast! damn nice! :D)
3) area cleaning
4) prize presentation (congrats rui jie for getting the best camper and hanwen for getting motivators award for the Sec 2s' side. for the others, don't be disappointed. you still got a chance next year! :) for sec 3s' side, Mick got the best male camper and Ken got the motivators award :D chairman guo ran shi chairman. haha!)
5) photo taking and unit cheer! :D

Last but not least, BYE ATC!!! :D left the campsite and came back to main island at around 1. then went back school by Guangyang's bus. slept throughout the whole trip :D put those rations in store and kope some back home. haha. had a wonderful KFC meal after that! :D saw the CIs at cafe cartel and saw yan hao sir went to play the racing game. haha. came back home, bathed and slept the whole day. yeah man :D

reflections: i think from this camp i got to know lots of friends like andrew and tuck wai from RI. they are damn funny man! hahaha. also, i would like to say, CHESTER SIR ROCKS MAN!!! :D and also from mr azman's speech, i got to learn something. first thing: know your own weaknesses and know other people's strengths. woah! i think this apply to me man. i always doubt others of their abilities and always thought of doing things myself cause i think i am good. but after hearing this, i think it's time to change! i am going to work as a team from now on because everyone has different strengths. you can't possibly do a great job alone, that's why you need a team! yeah man :D second thing: appreciate what others had done for you. i think this doesn't only applies to me but to most of the people out there too! many times when others come to help us, we don't show our gratitude to them. we will just take it for granted. and why are we all so stingy in saying a simple 'thank you'? so from now on, we got to appreciate others and don't take them for granted. just a simple 'thank you' will make their day so don't ever be stingy! :D

As i promised, the second and last day post for my chalet! :D

Second Day

early in the morning at around 6am, xingyu, weirong, john, leonard and i woke up. woah. we were still super sleepy man. we slept like only 1 to 2 hours. anyway, took taxi to school then prepared for campcraft promotion test for the sec 2s. i was in-charge of the lamp-lighting section. tested everyone and yupp it was fun! haha. in the afternoon, some of the NCOs got their 2nd class drill test. and i was like so noisy. keep disturbing them and keep commenting. okay guys, i admit this is my fault (sorry ken, terence, junwei and bryan). shouldn't have done that. promise to change this bad habit. i promise. anyway, when they were having their drill test halfway, xingyu called and said he was in the library. then ask me to call him when weirong and leonard finished their test. so i slept after that at the grandstand in front of those taking the 2nd class drill test. haha. i was super tired man. soon, they finished and we decided to call xingyu and ask him to take bus 88 instead of mrt cause there's place for us to sleep on bus but not on mrt. but then, after multiple calls, xing yu still didn't answer. we got no choice but to leave first. halfway on bus xingyu called. i told him to take bus 88 to pasir ris and we will take either bus or taxi to chalet. we reached pasir ris bus interchange and waited for him. we called him many times but he didn't on his phone. we waited for half an hour and left as it was super late already. so we took a taxi and reached our chalet. super tired and pissed then. 'a tired man is a pissed man' haha. xing yu reached soon and he was super pissed too. he told us that he heard wrongly what i said to him on the phone and he went to take mrt instead. then he was super suay that his phone got no battery halfway on mrt. haiz. suay man.

after that, it was our bbq! had lots of food. mr teo, miss thian, miss chow, miss tan, mr tan and miss wong came. woots. cool huh? talked lots of crap then. bridged with mr teo, shawn, brandon, kenzo they all and it was fun! mr teo is really zai man! :D talked crap again after that. then went cycling with richie and chi shun at around 1. woohoo. got lots of interesting things. especially one part whereby we saw those transverstites at changi village. wah lao. they say some rude words to chi shun. ask chi shun some sick stuffs. haha. chi shun also damn bad. he keep disturbing those transverstites. and when richie and i wanted to leave that place, he was like so reluctant. hahaha.

went back to chalet and played 'murderer' and 'blind mice'. these 2 games are cool man. first time playing them and think they are super duper fun! hahaha :) played till 5 or 6 in the morning and some of us went to sleep after that.

Last Day

woke up at around 8 or 9. went to return bicycle with leonard and zikai while it was still raining. haha. so shiok lah. talked crap on the way. checked out the chalet at around 10 plus and went tampines mall for lunch. went arcade and walked around the shopping mall after that. soon, we took bus 22 and came back ang mo kio. whole trip we were all sleeping. hahaha xD came home, bathed and slept after that.

overall, i think our class chalet rockssssssss!!!!!! haha. it was extremely marvelous, fun and super duper cool!!!!!! although it was quite tired. hahaha :D hope we will have it next year again!!! hahaha. and last but not least,

i'm finally back from chalet!!! :D i was supposed to blog yesterday, but was so tired after the chalet so i decided to take a nap in the afternoon and post at night. but when i woke up, it's already 10 plus at night! haha. however, after 1 whole day of sleeping, i had finally replenished the number of resting hours i had lost these past 3 days! yeah man! :)

unlike last year, this year's chalet was at Changi Aloha Chalet! The location was bad, it was super 'ulu'. however, the chalet was much bigger than our previous one and this made us had much more fun this time round! :D

First Day

early in the morning, i went to school to take the sec 2s for drill promotion test. then after that, ate lunch and went back home to prepare the stuffs for chalet. at around 6 plus, leonard xingyu and weirong and i met at bishan mrt to go to the chalet together. john wanted to meet us at tampines so we went there to meet him. at around 7 or 8 plus, we finally reached the chalet thanks to ivan's and edmund's guiding :)

when we reached there, we played card games, mahjong and watched the television at the same time. got to learn one more card game called 'bridge' from miss wong and played for quite a while after that.

at around 12 or 1 plus, qc, kenzo, brandon, edmund and i went cycling!!! :D it rocks man! we went to a super far place and on the way, we saw transvestites loitering around at changi village. yucks, they suck man. anyway, as we cycled, we crapped a lot and talked a lot of random stuffs. haha. one of the interesting place we went is the 'dark path'. as the name suggests, it is super dark there as the lamp posts there were spoilt. another cool place is the long stretch of road where we can't see the end of the road from the starting point. it was so long that we took 2 to 3 hours to cycle back and forth that road alone. when we came back to the chalet, it was already 4 plus and all of our butts were aching. hahaha. i took a bath and went to sleep after that as there was still campcraft promotion tests the next morning at 9.

ok shall blog about today's hike! overall, i think it ran rather smoothly and was quite zai la, although we may have some screw-ups in the morning but it was just a minor one. Wanted to say that leonard, yong jie and kian boon had done a fabulous job planning this hike! i am gonna learn from your mistakes and improve in my camp. you all are zai kay! haha :D

okay, today morning was really cool. had breakfast with ken, yong jie and kian boon again! sorry for being late again :P went to school and prepare some stuffs and we were all ready for the hike. after reaching pulau ubin, leonard broke them up into their groups. so junwei and i were with sebastian group- Energy.

everything started rather smoothly and the hike began. during the hiking itself, saw lots of stuffs and even got to see my sec 2s' leadership skills. firstly, i would have to say that sebastian had really done a marvelous job leading them. he was like very quiet in the beginning but after some time, i can see him leading his people. his planning was not that bad too, he managed to get his route planned quite well.

next, ryan. his map-reading is good and he managed to bring his group to all the checkpoints without back-tracking. funny part was he said something like 'what the...' when we gave them a drill. correct me if i am wrong. overall, i think the way he led people was quite autocratic. but not bad, it was a nice try anyway.

as for other members, sec 2 was quite okay. but sec 1s! haiz. there were these 2 sec 1 which keep lagging behind and me and junwei had to keep shouting at them to ask them cover up the gaps. also, i don't like them grumbling. just for their information, this hike isn't a leisure hike.

however, i think the overall performance for the group was not bad. this just that they lack of communication and teamwork. so this group won the special task and got the fastest group award. good enough la. although they didn't win the overall best group award but i think it was a good attempt since their points were just a bit below the first group. GOOD ONE, ENERGY!

after coming back to changi jetty, got debrief and learnt some of the mistakes we had made. went to squad dinner after that and we talked lots of crap. haha :D i think i like my squad more and more nowadays and i think i know them a lot better this few weeks. cool huh. especially, rui jie, jackson, sebastian, leh chuan and xavier. hahaha :)

on our way home, talked to rui jie and ya, he was quite open to me. hope he will change for the better and be a better leader in the future. and we were thinking about this question: 'what to do to make those slacking people who do not even care to improve, to stop pulling the squad down?' after such a long ride in the bus, we still haven't gotten an answer yet.

anyway, ken, yong jie, kian boon, bryan and i went back the store to put the logistics and went back home after talking some crap. xD

that's all for the day. tomorrow will be terence's birthday chalet! COOL! :D

I know this is a bit late. But chinese o' level is over!!! yeah just hope i will get my A1. rahhh. These few days still quite busy even though my holidays had started. Almost everyday got CCA or remedial. rahhh! the holidays are so packed man. Anyway, i think i have to spend some time during the holidays to catch up with my studies. "4 months to Prelim 1" quoted from Mr Teo. rahhh! i think time is passing so fast during the holidays!

Today, something happened yet again. i guess it's my fault again. shouldn't have tian you jia chu when ken and jun wei is quarrelling. rahhhh. i am stupid man! anyway, just wanted to apologise to kian boon and ken once again here. i make sure i don't tian you jia chu the next time. sorry guys! time to express my feelings: i think this time everyone is at fault, including me. For Jun Wei, don't think too much and cool down for the time being. For Ken, cool down and sort out your thoughts. FOR MYSELF, i think i should just shut up the next time. If not, i will just get into unnecessary trouble. Just because today i super hyper, then i said ken was biased for nothing and i got into trouble. stupid me! Shall ZIP my mouth the next time when i see others quarrel and never ever tian you jia chu. okay, that's all for today.

Anyway, before i end off, just want to say: all of us are best friends, don't let this trivial spoil our friendship. Remember the phrase we always say: "friends forever!" :D

Lesson learnt today: Don't add 'oil to the fire' when others are quarrelling.
