A Tribute To A Hero - Steve Irwin

Australia Zoo's Director, Steve Irwin (aka Crocodile Hunter), passed away yesterday after being stung by a stingray. Steve was one of my favourite "celebrity" because of his passion for the animals. We even went to his zoo during our honeymoon last year in the hope of seeing him!

That's me last year at the entrance of Australia Zoo... i remembered i was really excited then...

Empty Hard Disk

Just now my aunt was talking to DenDen, telling him how good or bad some people (relatives) are. I told her not to do that anymore because DenDen is just a baby, his new hard disk is empty, ready to store data. I feel strongly that he should be given a chance to decide for himself what's good, what's bad, instead of letting other people's experiences affect him.

For adults, we are easily affected by what people say or gossiped. We judge base on what we hear. Come to think of it, is it fair?

Only today, then i realized that Jayden recognises me!!! In the nursery, the helpers, as usual would volunteer to carry Denden while i listen to the service. When he was carried over, he would start yelling and crying, the minute he returned to my arms, he started smiling and making sounds as if talking to me! I am his mummy!!! We did this a couple of times and he really prefers me! He cried as if he's calling for me!!!

Teacher's Day

Yesterday was the first Teacher's Day which i didn't spend with my colleagues. This year's dinner was held at Pan Pac..wo ho... my favourite hotel!!! Man... Nevertheless, my colleagues smsed me and even my VP, Mr Foo, smsed me! How i wish i could be there though..

I spend the teacher's day with my little student, my little boy! Haha... In a way i'm his teacher since i have been teaching him so many things since birth! ok, happy teacher's day to myself!

Have been with MOE since 2001, actual teaching for 3 years. My classes were awarded Most Value Added Class a couple of times *satisfied look. Can't deny my eagerness to push my class up another level every year!

Ever since I have Jayden, the thought of resigning has been on my mind, cos i wanna devote my time to him. We finally came to a conclusion, that i will be on leave until Denden is 1 year old, old enough for infantcare. Reason being i still love teaching, and Denden deserves a chance to socialise and learn new things from the school! Maybe he'll be in the centre for just half a day ;)

Day Out to J8 Denden was fast asleep when we're about to step out, thankfully my aunt was around so we left him at home. Felt a bit weird after 2 hours of shopping, missed him so much! Didn't forget to get baby a really cute romper!

My MIL rang us to tell us that the timeshare hotel for Adalaide is fully booked.... SAD! She said anyway it's dangerous to travel now... DOUBLE SAD... Honey said we can still try to go somewhere... SIAN.. so much for my travel plans...
