3-4 Weeks More

I am now 2.18kg, Dr Yvonne said that I might have to wait for another 3-4 weeks before surfacing... Argh... that's a long wait for me, and ofcourse poor Daddy and Mummy! Ok, i'll be good while waiting for the final moment ;)

Aunty Nan Yen bought this special bib from Tasmania! It's towel like and you have to wear it over your head! Looks nice! Thanks Aunty Nan Yen! :)

Accident

Yesterday we met up with an accident... we crashed into another car's rear. It happened really fast and all i remembered was shouting to Dearie. He jammed break immediately. I held on to my seat belt and another hand on DenDen. Then came a loud bang!

I was surprised that Dearie was not at all concerned about the car...about whoever was to step out of the other car... about the rest of the cars behind... he kept apologising to me and asking me if me and Den were ok. He was practically frantic over us. Thank God for His protection, we're ok, except for some slight chest pain caused by the seat belt. Baby kicked me thereafter so i guessed he's protesting inside!

The repair for both cars would probably go up to a few thousands, so we'll claim from the insurance, but still gotta fork out $500, sigh... just when we thought of saving some money. But still, think of it this way, the 3 of us are safe and sound, imagine should we be injured or even led to premature birth of Baby, the costs will be sky high!

Nonetheless, God is good. It could have been worse...

Clever little Jayden

Gary and I had a real fun time playing with Jayden! Cant imagine huh, but Jayden seems to respond very well to our little games! Hee...

Babies will normally wake up every 2 hours at night for milk. We were trying to "compromise" with DenDen on this timing. We did this while he's "awake" just now.

Me: Ok baby, why not you wake u every 4 hours huh? What is 4? (i poked fingers on him indicating 4) If you agree, kick here!

Den:.......... (no reaction)

Me: ok ok... how about 3?

Den: ..... (silent)

Gary: let's just try 2 lah, maybe he sleep le no reaction?

Me: Ok baby, how about 2?

Den: (kicking profusely)!

Me and Gary: Oh no!!! Try again!!!

Me: 4?

Den: ....

Me: 2?

Den:......

Me: 3?

Den: Ok....maybe.. (subtle kick)

Bathing fun

Eh....this is a gift from mummy to daddy years back...mummy dug it out somewhere and said they'll give it to me! To swim with me when i'm bathing...hee...

Daddy bought this foam support to put into the tub for me when i bathe so that i will not slip! Grandaunty recommended this and said it's really useful oh! Let's see!

Fan night

Wo ho...check out my laser clip on fan! Mummy bought 2, one for my crib and the other for my pram! It shows different laser designs wo...cool!

For now...let little ele have the fan :)

Everything

I feel really blessed...Daddy said i am so blessed because even before i'm born i have so many things, beautiful room, nice toys, gorgeous clothes, loving parents! Many little babies dun get all these yet i have them all when I didn't ask... Daddy said God shall supply all our needs! Thank you God for loving me and my Mummy and Daddy so much!

There are numbers at the sides of the window! I can start to learn how to count! 

Daddy and Mummy bought some wooden alphabets to form my name..Mum painted all the alphabets! Arent they nice?! They're on my door!  

Mummy put the alphabet mat on the floor..wow... now my room is really a fun little heaven!!! :) 

Grow Grow Taller!

Mummy put this up for me at the side of my room! Hmm... when will i be as tall as the dino?! 

Reminders

Mummy told me today that i have to remember what God has done for not only them, but me as well. There's only up to so much that she can protect me from the world outside but constant reminders of how God has been good to all of us will keep me safe.

I know God is the one who brings me here so far... and mummy told me without God, she would not have the ability to carry me so far. Thank you God for having me...way before i exist, You already thought of me.

I will always remember :)

Daddy and Mummy bought this Nursery Rhymes AudioCD for me! It comes with a book with all the 27 Nursery Rhymes! They're playing it for me now! I am enjoying myself! Wo Hoo!

Counting Down

Today Mummy made an unexpected visit to Dr Yvonne... needless to say, they started looking at me again :) HI MUMMY!

I know i havent been a good boy cos i kicked mummy too hard... Daddy said it's too HARD! But daddy.... it's really cramp here, besides...i can't help but feel excited! I will be out soon!

Guess what I was doing when mummy saw me? Hee...doing something i do best lately...SUCKING THE UMBILICAL CORD! Well, if you ask me, it tastes funny but that's my only toy now... anyway... i am doing real fine... like what i said, counting down! Here comes JAYDEN TO CONQUER!

Aunty Geraldine was so nice to give me this gift even when i'm not born yet!

Today is Joey Jie Jie's Baby shower...That's she sleeping so soundly! Joey Jie Jie...wait for me... i'll join you soon! ;) 

Mummy bought a long sleeve t-shirt for me. Po Po said I must at least have one in case its very cold :)

Mummy saw Dr Yvonne just now. I am now 1.75kg, with a foot of 5.5cm! Hee... I have already turned upside down, so you see why i keep having hiccups nowadays. Try drinking water when you're upside down! Hee..

I saluted the ladies with one foot on my forehead. I thought that's cute! I am a natural gymnast! So flexible! Dr Yvonne kept poking me... so i gave her a kick...oppss... it's Mummy who got it ;P

Dr Yvonne said judging at the rate i am growing, and clearly i dun have much space in this water balloon now, she'll try to have me out earlier, in another 6-7 weeks time. Oh... great! I can't wait too! Mummy said "Yes please!" sigh... i sucked my thumb deliciously when they were making the decision. *suck suck... didnt know they can even capture this scene! *suck *suck...

Change of plan

Mummy has changed her appointment with Dr Yvonne to tomorrow! Ah... i am so nervous!

My name is...

Over dinner the last few days, i sort of know my chinese name now... I am Jayden Chen (Tan) Kai En :) Mummy said "Kai (3)" means victorious, and they want me to lead a victorious and triumphant life without forgetting the grace of God. Sounds good huh? They even thought of mei mei's name! If i have a mei mei, she will be "Kai Wei"! Haha... mei mei...you hear that?!

I will be making my next appearance to Mummy this thursday...another 2 days! I am so excited to see mummy again! These few days i have been real close to mummy, many times i simple stick my little hand onto her and she can see my hand on her belly! That's how we communicate :) In about a month or so, I will surface to their world... that's fast huh!
