What?

Here's hoping that Dad looks at the blog while he's at work...
We thought this might make you laugh.

We are big Cowboy fans at our house. This is Tate's game day attire.
Mom on the other hand like the Eagles, and loves the Cowboys just to fit in!

Second Walk About

We did another walk around SL with our friends Gina and Brad who also enjoy photography.
We have fun walking around looking for, enjoying, and photographing some of the fun architectural design in SL. Next time I want to head up to Ogden and spend the day walking around. What do you think guys? Maybe in the summer time on a warm sunny evening?

I want to take the credit for the first picture, and I really thought I took it because I remember standing there looking at this clock from different angels. But apparently Cole had the camera at that time, and he is the one that snapped this shot. He's good hu? I am excited that he is in a photography class right now. I think he has an eye for things and can't wait to see what he will do.

Digital Scrapbooking

My friend has a great little business that she is getting up and running.
She designs digital papers, elements etc. for digital scrapbooking.
In effort to spread the word, check her stuff out. You can't beat the prices, I promise.
I especially love her paper packs.

Check out her blog HERE

If you are into this sort of thing, go for the kill and just buy it all. Last time I checked you can get everything on her blog for around $14.00!

Little Girly

I am so swoon by my little girly I can hardly stand it!
She is so me in so many ways. She LOVES to climb on everything. If there is a box on the ground, she will climb up and sit on it. I was known to be found on top of things I should never have gotten on. She HATES to cuddle; apparently I didn't either when I was little. She is so impatient. I wonder if I was too from the get go? She has no fear. She LOVES the water. She will practically climb into the shower if the bathroom door isn't closed before getting in. She loves to sleep on her tummy... That is the thing I miss most while pregnant. She is a good eater and loves food!
She is my little side kick and is always next to me.

Oh, and everything belongs in her mouth!

S'up

This is what's up at our house.

Ella clinging to me for dear life.
She is constantly pulling up on me, hugging my leg, looking up at me crying for me to hold her. She may as well be back in my stomach, I carry her around all day anyways! =) At least she only weighed 6 lbs. then.
I know, one day I will miss looking down and seeing her there!
I actually can't help but smile when I look at these pictures.

On a side note. I edited the pictures with the Pioneer Womans new set of actions. She released her second round and I love the Seventies one. I used her Sharpen THIS, and Seventies on both these pictures. If you have photoshop, download her actions. They are free, and so fun to play with. I love her Boost and quick edge burn in her first set, and in the second the one for making the eyes pop, sharpen this, and seventies. Really, you could play for hours!

Imagination

Today is Cole Bug's Birthday, so I thought I would post a couple of pictures that I feel truly portray him as a Dad.
The other day he got the itch to have an experiment day with the kids. He took Tate out to the store and came home with a couple of bags full of random things. He pulled out the kitchen cart and had it all organized with his different ingredients for the experiments.
Cole's sister and her family also joined in on the fun and even brought a few things as well.
I will spare the scientific explanation that was given to the kids while doing the following:

Dropping a handful of Mentos, The Fresh Maker, into a diet Coke:

This is what it did instantly:

We all wondered what would happen if you had a mouth full of Mentos, and drank a Diet Coke?

Next the kids played with dry ice. The second Cole mentioned to be careful, Tate backed way up, and was on the extreme side of being cautious.

This one was SO fun. They mixed corn starch with water. It forms a dough that is runny if you don't play with it, and as soon as you squeeze it, and play with it, it goes rock hard. Then when you stop it goes back to being runny. I don't know who liked it more, the kids or the adults. It reminded us of the guy on The Terminator, that is liquid and comes back together.

Look at how swollen Tates eyes are here: He had a trip to the doctors a few days later, to find out that he had a sinus infection.

I can't remember what made this geyser, I think he had the kids put food coloring in a cup and added vinegar to baking soda?

This is just an example of the fun things He is always doing with Tate. He is always putting together fun things to do with his little buddy to to teach him, but also have fun.
Happy Birthday Cole, one more year behind us... I look forward to the many more ahead!

Holidays

We had a great Holiday Season.
Christmas Eve was spent at Cole's Mom's.
The evening consited of Ella not sleeping, baking cookies, reading Christmas stories, and a sweet round of singing... My solo was for sure the best! =)

Christmas Morning:
Yes, that is slobber all over her face. She should win a prize for how awesome she can drewl!
Tate ripped through the presents. When he was all done, I was surprised that the first thing he wanted to sit down and play with was his Moon Sand.

At my Mom's, she played dress up with her grandkids:

It was really cute!
She made elf costumes for all the grandsons, and little Christmas fairy outfits for the two girls.
The "Elves" where in charge of passing out the presents.
(The twins where also dressed up, they are just not in any pictures.)
