I was tagged and havn't thought about what to say until now, so we'll see what I can come up with!
1. I love to play with pictures in Photoshop. I try to get my house clean and the laundry done while kids are sleeping, and then what time I have left is my time for playing. I can be SO hungry or need to go to the bathroom so bad, but I won't because I feel like I only have a few min. here and there to do it. Otherwise I will stay up much too late getting carried away. It's one of those things that I just have to make time for.
2. I am going to start drinking protien drinks. I used to make them as a shake with fruit once upon a time. I have some supplements around the house and figure I may as well use them instead of just store them. Who knows, maybe a quick drink for a meal will give me more time for numero uno!
3. I LOVE my kids!!! I told Cole while we were dating that I would work if I had to, but I wouldn't be as happy as I would be if I could just stay at home with our kids. It's what I love to do... and I'm pretty good at it! =)
4. I'm looking around my house trying to think of things to say! Oh, I hate it when the garbage gets taken out, and a bag does not get put back in right then. I put the bag in before I even take the garbage out because otherwise I forget.
5. I am partially deaf. I always have to remind Cole to be nice to me when I repeatedly ask "WHAT?" (I had really bad ear aches as a child and into my teens. The last one was when I was 19. I had tubes in my ears twice, both eardrums burst at the same time, tonsils out, endless counts of swimmers ears. I have scar tissue in each ear and come to find out the cannals don't drain properly. My last visit the Dr. told me I should still have tubes in my ears.)
6. I used to have a really bad habit of twitching my nose to the side when I was little. Kids would make fun of me and I would try to stop, but it's like my body couldn't help it. It was my own little case of terrets! (I'm doing it now just thinking about it)
7. I'm much more impatient and not as kind these days. (Cole will tell you that I'm not lying!) I just feel like I don't have anytime for myself between my three kids =) constantly asking me to do things or crying for me. (Cole is usually the one crying for me!) I love you Cole and have to dish out the sarcasm to you just to keep things even. =)

Memorial Day
We had a nice Memorial Day even though it was cold and rainy. We were all so tired from the BIG day on Sunday. After the blessing we went to our cousins Eagle Court of Honor and then had a get together later. We slept in on Monday until 10:30! That is a record with two small kids. We just relaxed for the day.
I took this picture of the flag in our front yard right before it was taken down. Tate was in tears because it was blowing SO hard, and he was worried that it would blow away. Funny, but gets old! Then we headed out to Pitchers for a fun family BBQ. It was so fun to watch my boy sit on the kids table outside and eat all by himself. Another little moment that Mom wants to store, and never forget.
I love getting together with family, and I especially love holidays. It so nice to have Dad home with us all day! The only bad thing is the let down after. You go from doing something and being with people all day for a few days... to nothing going on, and no more adults to be around, and no friends around 24/7 for the kids to play with. Does anybody else experience this?

Her Blessing
It has been a long day. A very nice long day. We blessed little El today. Cole gave a very beautiful blessing, or so I hear... the microphone didn't work and I didn't hear a thing! I was really upset at first, then heartbroken that I missed it. It all ended up being ok. My brother in law had a great idea. Later we sat down together with everyone that was in the circle or sitting within 10 ft. that actually heard it, and shared what they remembered. It was a neat experience for me because I not only got to hear bits and pieces of what was said, I also got to hear peoples thoughts on the blessing as well. Thanks everyone for sharing!
Memorial Event One
To kick off the Memorial Day weekend we had a family BBQ. Yesterday I asked Tate what we were going to do and he answered "go to Uncle Rods!" Last time we went to his beautiful home in Mapelton he had so much fun. I think this time was even better because his friend Olivia was there. They had so much fun running around. When it was time to go nobody wanted to leave - and that includes me... It is SOOO pretty. I left there feeling refreshed and so thankful for how beautiful Utah is. I love it here. Thanks Chyrl and Rod for having us all out.

Just Playing
I have to admit I am loving the rain today. It has been SO hot, and much to hot inside my house. We all just laid in bed this morning with the window open listening to the rain and enjoying the cool breeze.
I am finally beginning to believe others when they say she looks like me. Last time I had her in to the Dr.(to check her face, she had REALLY bad baby acne. It was all over in her hair, and spreading down her chest and back. The Dr. got a second opinion because he wasn't sure it was acne because it was so bad. They decided that it was just a severe case. She is looking MUCH better.) she weighed in at 11 lbs. That was at her two month mark.
She is already so strong. She's been holding her head up since she was just a couple weeks old. She isn't nearly as cuddly as Tate was. In fact I'm learning that she wants to be up, but not held. (That is depending on the time of the day. In the evening/night she doesn't want to be put down.)

Tag
I am going to start a tag. One time on the way home from Bunko we played a little game... we all said one thing that we love about each of our friends. So, that is what this tag is going to be all about, in effort to "Pass it on" and make us all feel better! Here are the rules:
1. Once you have been tagged you have to tag someone else.
2. Say something nice about the person you are tagging on your blog.
3. Feel free to leave nice comments telling what you think about that person. That way they have even MORE nice things to read about.
3. And so on it goes...
I am tagging Emily! (Sorry Em)
I have been friends with Emily for about 16 years! She is the kind of friend everyone should have. She is so much fun to be around. All of my memories with Em are ones of us laughing and having fun. She is also very sincere and caring. One memory I will always appreciate is right after my Dad died. Emily thought it might be nice for me to get out of my house and away from all the tears going on in it. So she had her sisters take us out for ice cream. (We couldn't drive yet, and it made me feel good that her sisters cared too.) That meant so much to me then, and I guess it still does because I haven't forgotten it. You can trust her with anything. She never repeats a thing, which is a rare quality and one that I love. Love ya Em... Now have fun passing it on!

Stinker
He has been talking in his sleep the last few nights and it's obvious that whatever he is dreaming about it upsetting him because he wakes up and wants to sleep with us. Two nights ago he yelled for me to get him the toilet paper. I went in there and he was sitting up in bed upset, saying you HAVE to get me my toilet paper. I went and got a role and he broke a piece off, then rubbed it soothingly next to his cheek and went back to sleep. I asked him in the morning and he said I was flushing it ALL away! Last night he woke me up twice talking but I couldn't make out what he was saying. At about 3 AM I had a little one standing next to my bed with his pillow and blanket ready to climb in. Cole lifted him up and put him in the middle. He scooted real close to me and snuggled in. Then he said "Mom, why you stink so bad?" I said it's probably my breath. "Mom, why you breath stink so bad?" I said go to sleep! It's totally a natural thing to have morning breath right? Still, a little humiliating all the same. Leave it up to a two year old to be brutally honest. I guess I better start brushing my teeth before I hit the sack! (Sick, and yes I am kidding) He has always had a really sensitive nose and gets upset to smells all the time.
Love him!
Love him more!

Work It!
Tate will get upset with me if I tell him we are not going to do Pilates together. On this particular night when this was the case, he asked me to put them on for him and told me he would do them himself. He got the mat out of the closet, and sat down to do his exercises . It's pretty funny to watch because he really does them quite well. What a funny boy!

SHOUT OUT
I've been wanting to give a little shout out to my sweet husband without seeming too proud, and this seems like a great time to do it. He stays up with our little girl every night so that I can go to sleep. He was gone last night and I found myself having to ask him his routine. I haven't really had to stay up with her because Cole is always there for me. Thanks babe!
Also, Cole and my brothers have started a new blog about their bike ride adventures. They know about some sweet trails around here, and elsewhere, so if your into biking follow along. They plan to keep it updated often. Check it out here:
Tuesday Night Rides
I haven't really been big into mountain biking since junior high. I used to love tagging along with my brothers and joining them. I've gone out on a few rides with Cole in the time we've been married and I am not nearly as daring as I used to be. Reading their blog entries was surprisingly entertaining to me and makes me want to start tagging along again. Can anyone join your Tuesday night rides?
Reflections of Christ
This is such an inspiring video. It's a great testimonial of Christ. (Watch it when you really have time to sit down, to get the full effect. Also, it's even better in full screen)
I couldn't find it anywhere to download, so just click on the following link and watch it:
Reflections of Christ
The video is put together from Fine Art Photography done by a group of artists. You can watch videos on different shoots done to create each picture. It's really quite interesting to watch. Each picture is so beautifully done and incredibly moving, and I LOVE the music.
ENJOY!!!
