Our First home!!

Here's some pics of our house we got in November. Chris and I have been living with my fam for way too long! We moved in thinking it would be a few months which turned into almost two years. Chris luckily has had a stable job for a bit now in this bad economy to where we could get into a house. We took advantage of the tax credit and bought in November- although it's extended now. We found a foreclosure in Silverstone Ranch. I wasn't to fond of it compared to the other houses we were looking at, but it wasn't in the best shape. Anyway we knew it had good potential so we went for it. With lots of time an effort we got it looking pretty good so far. We ripped out all of the nasty carpet and floors. We replaced vinyl with nice tile and gave the house a paint job. Some of the paint is a little crazy but we'll make it work. I love decorating, so my new thing is finding cute stuff as we get more money to add to the house. I love the modern contemporary look. I still have a lot I want to do, but man oh man am I grateful to have our own home! I still would love to get nice blinds, landscape our backyard and add to our front, and get more decorations for the house. It will all come in time, but I love being on our own again! Next is babies! J/k not for a bit...

Halloween 2009

I know I've been such a slacker!! Facebook is so much easier and less time consuming but I figured I would update briefly in case anyone reads these anymore. Yes our Halloween was interesting this year. It was a last minute do what we could find thing to go to a party. It was fun. I was a Mexican and Chris was Lady Gaga!

Gregory Newport trip

This month we got to do our yearly beach house trip with Chris' family. It was so nice to get away for a week! We slept in, rode bikes or went running, ate lots of junk food, and went to Knott's Berry Farm. I'll I can say is I love the beach!!

SYTYCD!

In July we had a girls trip to the taping of our favorite show "So You Think You Can Dance!" Thanks to Deloy we all entered our names to this website that could get us tickets to be audience members. We all got emails on the same day with tickets to get in. We couldn't pass the opportunity up so we all got together and drove to Hollywood at the spur of the moment. I must say it was a crazy trip up and back with not much sleep but it was a blast. We waited in line all day in the heat then we made it to the "cute girl line" and we were so proud. We couldn't bring our cameras in so we had to take most of our pics in the parking garage lol. We did get to meet one of the dancer's (Evan) brother in line and got to hear the secret stories. It was funny to see how everything works behind the scenes of the show. They really pick out of the line girls that are all dressed up and put them in front. It was sad to see the apparent not so cute or heavy girls moved to the back. We finally got in and it was way smaller than it looks. Bre got to get up and dance on the stage before they starting taping. She worked it! We got to see Napoleon and Tab our old hip hop teachers. Too bad they had to stay late and rehearse because we were going to meet up with them for dinner. Being there made us realize the judges totally persuade the viewers to like certain dancers, that was pretty gay. Anyway, We all were placed around the stage in the front and were so excited to watch ourselves on TV the next day, but it was still hard to see us on TV. Only we could really find ourselves. It was such a cool experience to go!

My new addorable niece!

My brother Donnie and his wife Sara adopted a cute little girl Milana from Taiwan. They've been waiting forever to get her and they just picked her up last night. They will be home Saturday for all of us to meet her. We are all anxious to finally meet her. She's so cute! They called my mom last night and said she's already calling them Mama and Daddy. They said she's so cuddly and smart. Here are a few pics.

Utah Trip

Chris went to Utah this weekend to get away with his boys. He went up to Park city with Bryce and Robbi. They went Mtn. biking and golfing. He actually took some pics too, I was so proud. He had a good times and told me his favorite part was sleeping with Robbi. JK!

I took advantage of him going up and thought it would be fun for me and Allie to go stay with Breann. We had fun just staying up and talking all night. We did the norm that we do, taking dorky pictures and being dumb. We went up to Sundance in Provo. It was really pretty. Breann was hilarious she was so tired she fell asleep when me and Allison went and took pictures. We found her passed out on a couch in this lodge. I was embarrassed to say I knew her! Good times...

Happy Birthday Chris!

It was Chris' Birthday Friday and he turned the big 24! Happy Birthday sexy man. I love you!

Newport Fun

It's been long enough, I think i should post! Memorial Day weekend we decided to go to Newport for Chris' Birthday. It was so nice to get away just the two of us. It started out rough but looking back it was pretty funny. On the way there, I'm not the most talented at navigating on a stupid GPS. I got us lost in Cali and Chris got so annoyed with me. We finally found our hotel and walked into a lobby with about 500annoying teens. They had some Jewish church event the whole weekend that was so annoying. When we got there we had to ask to be moved because our room was right by the noisy elevators but the good thing was we ended up getting a better room with a balcony. We finally were about to relax and we were so tired when our stupid suitcase would not open! The zipper broke so we had to rip the thing open. I was pissed, we've used this thing like twice and had to go buy a new one. Anyway, the next two days were way better. It was nice, we laid out and ate some good food. The last day before we headed out we rented bikes and rode on the boardwalk. Then we stopped by Irvine Spectrum and did some Birthday shopping for Chris.... and me haha. It was a good trip, I miss it already!
