Swimming and Back to School

In Arizona August means more swimming, but it also means back to school time.

Sadie started 3rd grade and David started 1st grade.

A few days later Eve started preschool. She was just a little bit excited. She is wearing her swimsuit because they play in water for the last 20 minutes while it is too hot to play outside.

And as Isaac puts it, "Sadie and David go to school, Eve goes to preschool, and I go shopping."

Utah 2016

We spent two weeks in Utah visiting with both sides of our families and doing lots of fun activities.
We went to the aquarium and saw the fish and penguins.

We enjoyed building a fairy garden in Grandma's backyard and laying in her hammock.

We did our second annual pool noodle boat race.

We spent an afternoon in Temple Square.

We walked on the moon.

I met up with Rachelle for an afternoon and we got at least one picture of our kids.

We went to the Aviary.

We went up to Grandma and Grandpa Olson's house and spent a few days on the water.

Paddle boarding.

We made some s'mores in their backyard.

We love the view from the fire pit.

I think she liked it.

July 2016

We spent the 4th of July with our cousins. Heather and Scott moved to Queen Creek over the summer and we still can't believe we have so many cousins nearby now!

Getting ready for fireworks.

 Playing at the Idea Museum.

David turned 6! David is a sweet, smart, sensitive, silly boy.

We love it when Eleanor and Graham come to visit. Everyone just loves holding and playing with Eleanor.

June 2015

Highlights from June include:

We did two sessions of swimming lessons. One of the sessions I did a mom and tot class with Isaac, so everyone was in the pool at the same time. Even though we have a pool Isaac hated it.

We found this creepy spider in our pool that refused to drowned. Days later at the Arizona Museum of Natural History we found it in the Poisonous Animals Section and found out it was a brown recluse.

Baby Eleanor was blessed.

We redid our toy organization.

We enjoyed swimming with our AZ cousins.

And our Utah cousins who came and visited!
