In the evening when we wind down in Kynan's room before his bedtime..he was really sweet to sing for us a awesome song..The ever popular Barney song@~@...

Me & daddy cheer happily for him..I also find out that daddy n Kynan have a 'secret word' to cheer..did you hear daddy cheering..Bubu T in the background?..untill now i don't know what it means?@~@... malay, teochew?

I will let them have their small little secrets...

We loved the breakfast time at the disneyland hotel, the characters would greet us around the tables and have photo taking session. Kynan would have a little chat with them, he was really excited before they come by.

Although Kynan didn't eat much for breakfast but he was filled with much excitement & joy the morning. Daddy was really supportive, he slowly introduce the giant characters to Kynan..

It was the most exciting breakfast ever!

And Mickey surprise us before we left the restaurant by heating up a dance with Kynan!(excuse mummy's sound on background!!..it was really so funny to see my spontateous son in action!)

Praise God we had another really great family vacation! Kynan really enjoyed himself at disneyland this time compare to last year disney at Tokyo, he stills talk about Mickey,pluto & his train ride. Back home when i asked what he likes to do for the day, he says goes disneyland!@~@

kynan have great memory to rely his excitement, and this amaze me in our communication.

Kynan & Mark..and their mummies dearest!

The 2 pictures on top was taken when both Kynan and Mark was about 7months old, and the 2 below were taken today and they are both about 23months old.

They often play together and it have been while since they both meet up, they were both excited going for breakfast and Polliwogs. They hug, hold each other hand and walk had great fun playing at Polliwogs. Victoria told me that Mark cried when we left home, and Kynan keep talking about Mark when he's back home. How awesome for toddlers to build great friendship!

Few days ago, the mummies also met up for a lovely evening to a sumptous dinner at Ikoi and a late night drinks.It was a real good get-away@~@.. mummies and toast! I enjoyed every moments of a dear friend company.

Sandy day at East coast

Beach time is always great and we enjoyed every time, Kynan would says..''Beach, play sand'' whenever i drove along the highway by the east coast beach.

He recognise the road along the beach and certainly remembers the great fun!..I love the beautiful time, it make up nice memory for my growing toddler.

When Kynan talks about ABC & 123 :))

Kynan have been talking alot these days, he also loves to imitate the words we talk. It is really fun to be able to communicate with him now!

He have certain preference of books, colors and words. He loves to 'pretend' to sing with a toy microphone and after, he would say 'Xie Xie'! We all burst out into laughters!

My great helper also did a good job by helping Kynan to enjoy reading, my helper LiLis is a fast learner and compliment me to guide Kynan in his learning. Sometimes when Kynan learns some new words, we get silly that we danced in circle to 'cheer' for Kynan and he is very happy.

We enjoyed this time watching how Kynan is learning, and we hoped that we he start attending nursery. God bless him with many happy learning too, Praise God!

May your wish come true.

While writing this post, i'm still so filled with gratitude! I have a dream come true!.. Many years when we moved into our new home, my dear hubby and me always lounge into the sofa and watched Andrea Bocelli Tuscany concert where many of the well known singers were his featured co performers like Sarah Brightman, LangLang, Kenny G....

I had a wish then to hear Andrea Bocelli!..in Live or maybe to watch his concert.

I was really excited to read that Andrea Bocelli is having a performance in Singapore in May 2010, and it was thru balloting online. YTL was the organiser, and i didn't receive any call from them. So i thought that i wasn't pick, i told my husband that i'm gonna stand outside the botanics garden by the wall to hear Andrea's heavenly voice. (( can u imagine his expression? this time he really wished that the organiser sells the tickets instead!!))

Anyway we were blessed with the tickets to the concert!.. with a awesome dream come true by the grace of God!..
This concert was entirely sponsor by YTL group whom the chairman gave a marvellous speech to thanked God for blessing his business with a great harvest. Dr Francis Yeoh later sealed off with a kiss to heaven and ending his speech, i was deeply touched!Thank you Jesus!

Kynan's Sunday school

Kynan have been attending sunday's school since he was a 7 month old baby, there have been many phrase we have seen Kynan grow into. From a little 7 month old baby whom the loving care giver at the sunday's school carried over. Till now a happy toddler looking so forward to attend every sunday's school.

When ask him, ''do you want to go to church to see your friends?''.. He will say, sing song!..n Hallelu jiah..

After the end of the service when we pick him up, he will eagerly run and show us his beautiful well done work. We praised him so much! And kynan is really happy. We thanked God for such a wonderful church and blessing for His little one!

HaPPy Bowl

Some weeks ago my little awesome toddler who have been feeding very well since he starts on solids, have begin to reject food.

At first i was worried if he would be hungry or lacking the nutrient for the day, anyway it was just another growing phrase and we trust God's protection & love for Kynan's growing up. Kynan have also learned to say ''Amen'' before meals now!

Once awhile i would make him some interesting food, i called it '' Happy Bowl''. And Kynan was excited when i ask him if he wants a happy bowl. He says..'' Yes!'' ( he have a rather high pitch)
I make him a fruit salad bowl today, with papaya & dragonfruit topped with plain yogurt.

Then he says ''happy..happy..O"
It didn't take much time to make out the fruits, with a shape sorter to shape out the fruits. And i pop the remaining side of the star fruits into my mouth. Just take 5mins, yeah..was that simple!..And Kynan & me was HaPPY!!

VivVa Nutella

I love nutella chocolate since young.. i remember the small square plate of nutella sells in 'mama' store or ' econ minimart'! @~@..i would buy 3 or more!

Now..my hubby and i found this sinful deserts after our movie date at a lovely restaurant opp Katong Mall, ''Everything with Fries''

Nutella chocolate + tart + vanilla ice cream = heavenly treat!

Kynan was sleeping sweetly with the companion of his doting grandma, my mum would come over once a while to spend the night.

Thanks to her! ..we can have more Nutella tart..Dieting starts tomorrow..

Winter melon soup

Recently Kynan have been rejecting to take his porridges, i guess he is growing up and have aquire a different texture for rice.

I made him a big bowl of winter melon soup, served with rice by the side.

First he wanted to drink from the bowl, 2nd he poked the heart shaped rice. 3rd they finally interest him to tastes. Finally... he finished all! And i am glad..

Chinese New year is one of my favourite festive! It's is the season for me to eat without restrict then having to work so hard to shed off the extra weights after @~@. But i just couldn't resist the pineapple tarts, almond cookies and the best of all is the ''yu sheng''.

My mum in law specially brew soup based for steamboat makes me drink bowls after bowls, i finally learned the recipe! And had a steamboat feast at our place on the 2nd day of cny, we were so busy preparing to 'Lo hay' that no one remembers to capture a shot.

The next day i got a yu sheng adding extra pomelos and carrots, the guests for Lo hay is only me and my husband!.. Just 2 of of us tugging for the big round red plate!

We had a awesome getaway to Phuket on jan. And invited our neighbours Micheal n Gina with their 2 lilttle boys to joined us.

With good friends at a vacation..It doubles UP the FUN @~@. With 3 boys in a villa can gets chaos too, but they really enjoyed each ones company. We felt it was one of the best trips ever even though it was a short one!

We loved the Marriot's way of vacation!.. It is really child friendly with many activites for different aged group from 4+ to teenagers. There are also baby sitting services provided, the restaurants served child friendly menus too!

Many times a day we asked Kynan, '' Are u HAPPY?''.. @~@

He would CLAP his hands..>> (if u happy and u know.. you clap your hands)

.... It's his ways of saying he's happy!...

Daddy is always very glad to see Kynan so happy, he thinks that a happy memorable childhood is precious! To his Babies always..
