Baby @ the salon

It's not quite easy to cut Kynan's hair, and he actually don't have much hair to be trim too.He was fussing during the 2 previous hair cut. The 2nd hair cut, the stylist actually shave Kynan bald before i could stop her as i was calming kynan down as he was crying.

We went back to Junior league at united square and this time uncle Jimmy cuts Kynan hair. Uncle Jimmy was so patient and spend awhile to played with Kynan before starting the cut even he had a few queue waiting. Kynan did not fuss or cry at all during the hair cut, and he enjoyed himself with lots of books, balloon and stickers. And i didn't expect much that Kynan hair could style, but uncle Jimmy did a really good, nice cut that i can style too! Both his grandmas just loved it!

Before and after the haircut!

Kynan engross with the TV...but it didn't interest him long

He prefer to read a book!

Creamy wild mushroom soup

Recently daddy have been looking at Kynan's meal with lots of envy, i can understand as in the past i used to learn alot of new dishes to prepare for Eric. Daddy is usually a big fan of my creation in the kitchen except when i ask him to try Kynan's food. He just wouldn't take that puree!
He loves food like me! And we much share the similar taste. He loves anything with mushroom as long as not poisonous mushroom @~@
Today i made a pot of mushroom soup with garlic toast on the side, Eric finish most of it.
His tummy was very happy..i know.
I use lots of variety of mushroom.. Portobello, swiss brown, white button, oyster mushroom. Garnish with pasley, season with cracked pepper. 100% stirred n blend with love!..that was over seasoned that cause a little salty, i think!
Big thanks to mummy Kelly for this recipe.

Welcome to the fruity plate

Today i woke up slightly earlier to blend the dried apricots to be served for Kynan's breakfast, daddy is still playing with Kynan while i'm preparing. Yea..I had the luxury to sleep till 8+am, thanks to my hubby whom will do the diaper change for Kynan in the morning. Well..Anyway Kynan would call out to PaPa most morning standing in his cot, and PaPa will go over his room to cuddle him. It's a very lovely sight!
On his breakfast plate.. Dried apricots served on organics rice crackers. Topped with peach cubes. Served with ultimate fresh love from mummy's kitchen!
He is all smiles! He is Sunshine! @~@

Baby italian affairs..

Gourmet ingredients

I intro pasta to Kynan at 10months, although he didn't seems to like it but he still finish his lunch. I put the pasta away and served his usual porridge for awhile before trying it again today.

I use butternut pumpkin and it have a slight nutty taste, top off with broccoli puree and sprinkle of cheddar cheese. He enjoys today's lunch so much and i knows he is very contended and is happy with having pasta again. And mummy is very happy. I wish he enjoys having pasta dish like mummy.

Kynan enjoys and savour all of his foods at every meals..I thanked God for this lil'hearty diner! I enjoy cooking for him and seeing him eats...He is a guest i so loved at my table!

Friends we toast!

We met up for dinner last week at Il Lido Sentosa, it was a wonderful evening accompanied with sumptous dinner.. great companion and good wine! I specially like their Fettuccine al Granchio.. crabmeat with tomato base. My dear friend, Bridget selected the wine for the dinner. It's a wonderful combination for the dishes. She truely knows my tummy well.

We had a long and lovely evening, we were almost dancing. We looked forward to the next dinner date.
