This december was a really busy month for us, having parties almost every week or even 3 parties a saturday! We enjoyed the meeting up with friends, my hubby was on a whole month leave. And Kynan enjoyed Daddy spending time with him at home. We watched Little enisteins together, We swim together and we admire the moons and stars by the pool together!
I thanked God for blessing us our days with joyous and laughters.
May the new coming year of 2010 be of great excitement and awesome blessings to you all!

Ramen egg inspiration..

On Kynan's table..
chicken favour, 3 grains rice
Planning a vacation with children isn't as diffcult as thought, in fact having Kynan for a vacation set our pace slower to admire the more beautiful things around us!
The only thing i'm concern during the trip was his meals, as i don't usually give Kynan bottle food.
Daddy said was a good break for me as most of my time i will be preparing Kynan lunch and dinner. But i rather not have a break because i enjoyed cooking for Kynan and seeing him savouring all that from mummy's love kitchen. And i'm always glad that he haven't waste the food i made..except at times he is teething or unwell.
I made him a wholesome chicken broth porridge, topped with broccoli and ''black chicken egg''..( i was at the market stall, the lady show me a very small white egg. She says it's very nutrious for kid...i asked a silly question. '' why is the egg of a black chicken in white color?''..@~@)

The lovely ladies we met at Narita

My happy family

With the lovely lady at their ramen shop

It was a dewy japanese morning, my husband was still craving for ramen. ( He can almost have ramen everyday!..)
After we had ramen, we chatted abit with the owners..Yeah, abit!.. Abit of english, abit of japanese and very little of mandarin! And the owner actually make a paper crane for Kynan, He actually say '' Xie Xie'' to her. And she does understand that it was 'Han-jin' (chinese) for Thank You!.. she laughed happily!
Daddy was pleased to hear Kynan says ''Xie Xie''.. Daddy have always empasis the importance of moral values than ABC to Kynan.

We met this lovely girl in her traditional kimono, heading with her families to the nearby shrine for prayer.
The families were very happy, chatting and even skipping along the road while humming some tunes. I loved the simple joy they shared! Our morning was blessed and so are theirs.

Naritaya!

While Kynan takes his afternoon nap..
we had lunch in this lovely restaurant
The kind gentleman who helped us with the directions to find the shuttle bus stop

A shop selling honey favour soft serve ice cream..how yummy!..
But i didn't try ~~

I found ''Omote sando'' street in Narita

One of the place that i really liked about Tokyo is Narita Hills, it is about 20mins by car from Narita airport. It makes a very good transit place if you are travelling before a long flight to rest for a day before setting to Tokyo! As it was our 1st vacation with Kynan, i didn't want to tired him as it would takes another 1.5 hours by aiport limousine to reach tokyo.

The hotels in Narita city usually have a beautiful country side view, and always provide a shuttle bus from hotel to take us to Narita Hills where there is a whole streets of shop. It just felt back like the ' Edo time'..

Narita was also the 1st place my hubby and me came for our 1st vacation years ago, and we had alot of beautiful memories. When we passed by a building, my hubby even remembered that it was still constructing then. He asked if i remember?.. Obviously not! @~@ cos there wasn't any boutiques there. He smiled!..He's not angry, he even brought me a senbei snack. I like to teased him, relax his old stiff bones a little.

YoKoSo..Our family vacation

Last week we were in Tokyo for our 1st family vacation! We had a really good time and i know that Kynan enjoyed himself too. Especially in disneyland.. And we certainly witness God's provision for us!

We had intended to go to disneyland on Wednesday but as it was drizzling and i didn't want to risk having Kynan in the rain as mostly of the activity in disneland is outdoor and therefore we change it to thursday. And we spend almost the day shopping in Shinjuku and Omote Sando, thanks to Cindy's recommendation. Omote Sando is really beautiful with a new hip of shops and unique restaurants. We hop from one to another mall through the underground.

When we were back to the hotel in the evening, the concierge told us that there is a typhoon forecast the next morning which we intended to visit disneyland. When we were back to our room, the news reported more that it will be a strong typhoon. And usually won't affect Japan mainland at this time of the year.

I thought.. ''Oh dear, will it be too cold? Will it be windy? No more disneyland!.. As usual, i don't want to think too much. Had some japanese sweets and O'cha with my husband while Kynan's asleep. We talked about the day, and unwrap the shopping bags like it's X'mas..Yea,i loved Japanese product. The quality is great and packaging is lovely, even Eric likes the suit there.

I said a prayer before bed, the night was quite cold to be warms in the quilt!..

The next morning before i draws the curtains, i thought it's going to be really cold. Hmm..typhoon!..

No..Wait!!.. It was all SUNNY! How can that be?..
I know it's God..This is Love, this is Grace! For God knows the mummy's heart that she desire to bring Kynan to disneyland. I thanked God that He loved Kynan more than his earthly parents could. I quietly waked Eric up holding my excitement to start the day with gratitude n joy.

The weather was great!...Sunny and with cooling breeze so it's not too hot with cardigans. No typhoon and no rain. God's work is miraculous good!
The sunshine that shone into the hotel room was one of the most beautiful scene i have seen!..
I saw God's love and provision and i know Kynan is blessed with Christ!

28 aug 2009. Shortly after Kynan birthday, i was looking forward and also planning his lunar party for him with the family. My dear grandma, Kynan's great grandma also suggest the traditional custom for the birthday boy to chose a auspicious item. As for Eric and me, we truely believe God's almighty plans for His blessed child..Kynan. The family come together to prayed for him, as this child grows every moments is favoured in the Lord's hand!

There were 5 items for Kynan to chose, great grandma offer a hundred dollar bill among the five for Kynan to chose. He didn't chose the dollar note and went for the seal instead... Great grandma says the USD notes isn't attractive to take because of it's now all time low exchange rates.

All of us just laughed @~@
The five auspicious item representing --
~ Chicken drumstick : Blessed with food
~ Pen : Writer/author
~ Calculator : Business/finance
~ Seal : Authority/Governor
~ Dollar bill : Blessed with wealth
Whatever he is to be, the Lord's blessing upon him!

Music @ Gymboree

Happily mums n babies @ GymboreeI loved the picture where Mark is dancing on the percussion,
Kynan and Shervon cheering by the side.

Isn't baby Shervon a sweety pie? We just loved her sooo..

Victoria and me meet up for a music class for the babies at Gymboree, i invited mummy Shannon together. Although it was the 1st time Victoria and Shannon met but the mummies had so much to shared over tea time.

The music class at Gymboree isn't as well delivered than Kindermusik, it was much more of a play and exploring different instruments. The babies still had lots of fun, especially the bubbles accompanied with '' What a beautiful world'' song.

It's indeed a beautiful world with mummies who are just contended to bring an extra smiles on the babie's face!

Let's GOoo to Polliwogs!

Playdate @ Polliwogs : Dawn, Bernice, Kynan and Mark
( Missing in the picture was Phileuz.. He was in slumberland!)
Mummy Catherine organise a playdate for the babies at Polliwogs, the babies had a real good kick in the ball pit and crawling up the ramps! They sat down and enjoyed some afternoon snacks after and continued the play till evening.

It was a windy evening when we left Polliwogs and Kynan had some much fun there, i took him for a light stroll to wind down for the evening before on the way back home. Enjoying the big nature along the beach, i am so thankful that i am able to witness everydays of Kynan's growing and every moments of Kynan's fun and joy with him. I thanked God for His blessings altogether.

Thank you Catherine for organising the playdate and look forward to see all of you soon!

Kynan is 1!..Blissfully 1..

So blessed! Our baby is 1 year old!

Kynan turns 1 year old on sunday! We had a Thomas the train party theme celebration for him. We ordered his birthday cake from cupcakes divinity, and they did a well design theme cake. It wasn't too sweet and moist enough to tastes like Sara lee chocolate cake.

There was a pinata game after the cake cutting and the children enjoys it so much and was so happy when the confetti from the pinata splash opens. A big thanks to the resourceful mummy Catherine for her suggestion and her confetti.

I was so busy catching up with friends that i didn't have much time to take pictures of the party, and Eric was busy ferrying our guests due to the full parking in our place. But thanked God for my old friend, Desiree who helped us to took so many precious pictures at the party.

Praise God for our angel friends who shared with us the joyous moments of our dear son's growing. He is blessed with all your love!
