before the race, the sleepy face...
people warming up getting ready..

It was 4am in the morning and i took a cap down to padang... I came downstairs just to come across the taxi uncle swapping shifts... One of the uncles lived in yishun and i get to go to yishun first without the metre... Then ops, i realise the cap doesn't have a nets or mastercard machine... So i told the uncle,"stop me at the nearest atm for me to withdraw money..."..
But this really kind uncle told me to pay whatever i have to him, $16.. So i said, "next time see you at coffee shop treat you drinks..." as he stayed just beside my block..
I met Terry and his twin brother at the luagge check it, and we started the marathon together...
After about 6km, i said i needed to go first... My body was full of energy, so i went ahead...
My burst of energy came 10 mins after the race, and i go with very powerful strides... My body wasn't at all tired at the beginning so i really went on with very fast pace, cutting and overtake many people...
After 21km mark, they gave power gels.... Wow shoik, i had the chocolate one, taste like melted chocolate and that boosted me with the energy i needed...
here's the orange one, still unused...
After i go on to about 27km, my legs fail on me.. I had cramps after cramps but surprisingly, i continued running..
I enjoyed the water points along the way.. I would just stop, take a sip of drink relax, and then continue running....
After th 34km mark, my leg engines tell me to stop.... No more battery... So i walked from 34km to 42km.... This point of time was the most torturing moments.. My nipples, my balls experiencing abrasions... Poor thing... My sole was aching terribly and i have to sit down and rest every 2km... It was so horrible...
Luckily there were so many people on the sides cheering us to keep moving... That so moltivates me to carry on walking, although i couldn't run...
The finishing point was near... I still couldn't run... I can only walk passed the finishing line.....
here's the shirt with the medal
The proudest shirt ever, 42km finisher...
