The days pass as you live

I haven been updating recently due to my devoted attention towards http://leslie-shoppingspree.blogspot.com.. My newly edited shopping spree that i hope could really succeed..
You guys can start a online spree too.. I mean no harm trying to earn more money, as well as helping others to earn money.. Its about the experience, the challenges and the brain twisting... How you constantly think of services to make money, to help others to earn money, and to earn money with others.. Its something i never get to learn in school.. And in many mindsets, coated with a thick layer of reliance towards parents or family members, do not feel a need to earn money.. They already have what they wanted.. But can you really get this source of income forever? How about increasing your credibility by earning more..

Anyway, have you people seen sparks from your power socket before?? Well, for the first time i thought my room was going to blow into shattered pieces of ruins. As i plug my newly bought usb hub into my computer and attaching it to the power supply, i turned my head away for a sec.. And the next thing that happened was a sizzling sound from the power socket and boom.. Sparks reflected from my cement wall as my computer black out and the electricity eventually went off.. omg.. and the most troubling thing is my usb isn't working.. *stress..

Can't wait for monday to get my PowerG4 from mark.. Really excited to have a good feel of mac OS finally.. Hooray..!

*GST increment
You guys must have heard of this.. Its going to be implemented next month.. Actually there are many elements that is going to be affected by this increment.. For hardware and electronics, prices will definitely increase and it is only logical to buy it right now before GST increases..

After the increment, i predict that IT industry will fall due to the higher prices, and since creative isn't increasing its price, there is a higher opportunity for it to rise locally and increase its revenue.. But still, creative need to buck up on its revenues..

IT fairs will become a greater hit because prices are going to be slashed and more free gifts will be expected and therefore, people build up their buying desire for it..

However, item values increase and more jobs are created.. People work hard and spend hard, and so lesser people get jobless so easily..

One possibility may be that more and more people will turn their business to online blog spree due to the increase in shop rents...

Chun Hao introduced to me this newly out creative zen mp3 player "zen stone +" that comes with a 2GB build in memory and a newly added display screen. And since i needed an mp3 player, and Chun hao said it was cheap.. We decided to buy it.. haha.. poly kiddies are getting richer and richer nowdays

Wow, since i lost that camera from Vietnam, i was in despair and lost.. I lost hope to regain back my money.. Yes, i bought insurance and it had provided me the full payment for my mp4 player..
Now lies my Sony cybershot , which i claimed its price to be at $450..
I came back and saw the AIG travel insurance letter on my table. My mood burst into little flames of excitement as i opened the letter.. And guess what it is....I can't believe my eyes when i looked into the envelope.. I saw a yellowish slip which resembles a cheque.. And there it is... $315 for my lost camera.. It deducted 20% for no receipt and 10% for wear and tear.. I was glad though..


Finally i received my Lumix camera from Jess... I was so excited.. It comes with that 2gb SD card, a black pouch.... totally awesome..

Jessica was suggesting to me about posting IT items online to sell to make money.. And i thought that it was a good idea and decided to have a joint online market with her.. With the lack of experience and skills in marketing, i find myself struggling like a fish out of water..

Today is the past

I was determined to do something about my poor sales today.. Having this mindset riding steadily behind my back, i trotted towards epicentre..
Wow, had been on ipod sprees for a certain period.. Never selling anything would means no fun..
Flynn had been bugging me the whole morning to sell away my Xfree speakers to him at a cheap price.. Seriously i don't mind selling to him, but bringing along such a heavy speakers out just for that kinda money isn't worth.. I advised him to get one instead.. In the end, he got a logitech speaker.. Omg...
It was too kind of Sam, the guy from starhub shop to ask me if i wanted the football cooler.. Thanks for that wonderful gift... Now that i can put it in my room... whau..

After reading about emotional bank accounts in "7 habits of highly effective people", i begin to realised its importance in every aspect of my life..
I had some good chats with mark about the working life and how effectively organisations can operate in terms of having talents..
And i see in many aspects that depositing into other people's bank accounts not only increases the trust between people, it also produces results..
There are too many reasons and factors to pinpoint but my mind ain't capable of putting vocabs together to describe them..

The enomous waves smashed into the rocks when the tide is high and creates thunderclap splashing sound as the drips of water trickle down the rock..
Setbacks, obstacles are like the waves that hits you every single time you faced difficult times.. But sooner or later, it disappears as fast as drips of water tricking down the rock..

Today is Wednesday

Andrew revived me of dota by passing me the game. I played aside with him againest the computer bots and had some great time during inet club, but certainly felt guilty by not teaching today. Shern taught flash to the only 3 members who turned up for inet club training.. Omg, i really admire their committment.. Sk wouldn't join us for dota..

How i wish i had my new camera.. I'm going to get in next monday.. Thanks to Jessica.. She helped me get it at a cheaper price from her bf and i just couldn't wait for next monday.. I'm too excited.. My new Panasonic black LUMIX... WHERE ARE YOU....

I was surprised my handsome little cousin has been putting effort to meet up with me since we hadn't been going out for a long time.. He went to Japan during the holidays and just came back recently..

The holiday times are flying pass, and yet i did not have the chance to grasp its time. Why am i not able to enjoy all of these free times..
I have no money to enjoy.. I have projects to do.. My mother wants me to stay at home.. I love my computer...
Excuses pops up everywhere like banners, but actually they are just made ups.. They are excuses people like me like to give to compensate for their sense of security.. Am i one of them... hehe..
Although i make an effort cycle in the morning, i still spend 70% of my time on the computer screen.. Can i just smash the computer screen for once and then take a week off from that.. Omg...

So i have been walking alone, walking and walking. My mind thinking and exerting too much force againest itself thinking of myself.. Self-reflection of who am i. Nobody seems to be able to answer this simple three words question "Who am i".. People changed all the time.. I changed all the time.. My paradigms keep shifting itself and every single time that happens, i found my attitudes started to change.. And it keeps changing until i don't know exactly who i am and who i want to be.. The wind seems to be guiding me into a random dimension, when i am trying desperately to seek a direction of my own.. An attitude truely of myself.. And i still couldn't find it

Bored day

I designed this shopping spree flyer in the morning and i'm proud of it... looks normal but it's the first time i ever designed something like this..

Actually i wanted to go skating, but it rained in the morning and i was relunctant to go. argh... i really can't believe i stayed at home the whole day.. it sucks... Its really the worst day to spend my life..

Doing java codes keeps my mind hovering and forces my brain to produce brain cells..
I feel like a dog locked up in a cage... Just because i never went skating...
Omg, someone in school keep pestering me... ARgh.. going soo crazy..

Ruf should be back in SG.... How's the trip... I never wanted to go Indonesia...
But i'm planning to go to Japan after i graduated from Poly.. so i would have to save about 3k for the trip..

Chalet Epi started with a short barbercue on wednesday..
Has nothing fun to talk about.. my mind went blank.. what the hell was i doing there..

Seriously i can't remember what i was doing...

Was late at work today because i seen the schedule wrongly. Was suppose to work full on friday but i mistook sat for friday... so Jess called and i came late..
I thought nick will shout or something.. He was in a bad mood in the morning but said that he will cover for my lateness.. And since he didn't make a fuss about jy not coming, i decided to bring some games for him to install.. Cheer him up a little so that he won't go berserk.. Am i thoughtful? i just soo thoughtful...
haha.. My eyes gets watery and drowsy when i look at the computer screen too long... so i'll just go to sleep... good nites..!

Habit 2 : Begin with the end in mind

Today itself begins with a nice, rainy weather in the morning as i struggled to wake up from my cozy bed.. Watched one series of One Piece and then decided to service my skates, or else it will produce that sqeeking sound as it moves.. Ops, one of the bearings had its parts fallen off. Sadly, i had to get new bearings. Those set of bearings were really old..
I actually intended to go down to Queensway to get them but Ivan said that rollerPlus at Woodlands sell them cheaper..
It was raining as I left my house towards the mrt. I was reaching the Mrt when i realised that i did not bring along my keys, so i went back to get it.. I just wasted 15 mins of my life... wtf..
I reached there, waiting for the shop to open, sat at the kopitiam to continue my book "7 habits of the highly effective people"..
Burned a big hole in my pocket after getting 2 bottle of blackhole abec 3 bearings for $40..
After that, i headed to my grandma house to fix my cousin's com.. Its been a long time since i promised to go over to fix it, and now i did after taking a long break from work..

Just started reading the 7 habits of highly effective people.. Though not as interesting as the kite runner, but its just full of facts.. I'm hooked to it..
We went shopping while waiting for the rest and we came across this restaurant with great japanese food.. I have never come across such good food my whole life, good food for great satisfaction..





We had a nice company dinner at an Indonesian restaurant by the riverside. Jessica brought along her nephew, which was the centre of attraction..
After dinner, we went to drink by the river..

Comfortably leaning againest the wall on my bed, i sat with my laptop on my pillow to blog. What a nice to way to relax.. That's all for today.. :) nitez

I finished reading the Kite runner on my way to work.. whau i loved the ending.. You just feel like you are in the place of the kite runner..

I begin reading a new book called the 7 habits of the highly effective people.. Maybe something not as interesting as the kite runner but it was very good psychology. Hope to finish this book soon.. I love books

I was soo early for school today because i knew that my first lesson was test and i wasn't prepared..
Came to school to access R drive and get my study materials and after that decided to try something interesting in my house's desktop..

Just finished downloading the latest Bleach and Naruto episodes while i left my computer on the whole day.. Since 17 people had been caught downloading animes, i better pray hard nothing will happen to me..
Well, was a little disappointed with the latest bleach..
Not much of fighting scenes.. No Ichigo or Renji in action doesn't get me hooked..

Still left about 20 pages to finish up this interesting loaf of bread.. It's a totally fascinating book that will get you hooked once you start picking it up and read. The Kite Runner tells the tale of a boy who was once a timid and matures over time into someone respectable.
The rest of it you will have to find out yourself..
hehe... I do not wish to be a spoiler...

Holidays have started and now it's time for me to make more money.. :)

June 7th 2007

It was the first time coming to school early today at 9.14am.. I sat happily on my chair busily copying notes from the board while i saw Rufiah entering the room. "Hey Rufiah, i'm earlier than you for the first time.." I told her that and she stuck out her tongue on me, and turned back. One of her legs hooked againest a chair and she was on the verge of falling flat to the ground. Luckily she managed to hold onto someone's chair to regain her balance.. haha.. it was enough to give me a good laugh..:)peace!
School ended early and never thought of going to internet club. I had to think of what to teach again.. I managed to came out with this layer masking technique i learned from a photoshop tutorial which i taught to them.. One girl named agnes did superb... My mother left for japan a few days ago with my grandma.. I thought of contacting my mum through skype as it was cheap, and so i purchased 10USD skype credits for $15 dollars SG.. Strangely after i got the credits, the bank did not deduct the money from my account..
hee!! earned free credits..
I'll just try calling to Japan tomorrow at school and see how it goes..:) Nitez

Reaching school late gets me sweaty with worries. People are so engrossed with their work; the rest were busy doing their work and i was just there with my started up computer swirling up in a lost situation and didn't know what to do. Hoplessly looking around finding a clue to what needs to be done with the face of the blur L in Death Note movie.. haha.. that sucks.. well, being late sucks as well
School finish early and so i went to work early as well.. What a no life place to end up in after school.. haha..
Nothing really happened at the shop.. Jessica bought her first laptop.. An Ibook G4 for 250... but it was a good investment because she only used it for basic routines.. surfing the net.. after that she won't know what to do with it..
Had a good chat with mark about sales after work at the 24hrs coffee shop..

Too little money

Imagine you have too many things to buy but too little money to spend.. What should you do?
My bank is left with $27 before collecting my one month's hard earned pay.. And now i'm only left with $468.. Even after selling off my Samsung E730 for a $100, my pay was as little as the water in the desert.. Just a pathetic $356 dollars to survive for the whole month with transport fares and handphone bills to think of.

DESIRES
-Lumix Digital Camera(panasonic)
-Ipod/creative Mp4 player
-new rollerbladdes maybe

I can use up all the money to buy my desires
Or
I can forget about buying anything by staying at home to rot off my movies / work at the no-life epicentre

If you ever come across this kind of bankrupt situation what would you do? any wise advice?

Day of the black sheep

Working hasn't been the most pleasant to me. I talked so much but people just don't want to buy. Just admit that i had no luck these days. Thinking that selling macbook is difficult, anyone can do that even without much computer knowledge. Being a promoter @ epicentre seems like the worst thing to do.
In shop:
You hear customers nagging about the promotions
You talk to the wall often
You dream about your animes, dramas
You listen to lame jokes
You rot behind the corner

Broke - Learning Curve

The feeling of broke gives me the experience of how its like to live without money. Since i do not take money from my parents, i had to pay for my tranport fees and phone bills. Besides, i had travelled to genting and vietnam during the holidays spending a total of $500 and i'm left with $27 in my bank to last me till my next pay day. If i hasn't sold my E730 Samsung camera on Vesek day, i would carry an empty stomach around looking for food. My mother wanted to give me money but i told her that taking her money wouldn't be a challenge to me. Haha, i'm just a crazy person who loves challenges. Nothing is fun without a challenge. Going broke to increase my learning curve. To think of a way to get out of my bankrupt situation, i ask questions, thinking in the process and forsaking my studies.

Mark ate a laptop today which i find it perfect for my brother's usage. So i negotiated with him for a good price. He got angry at me the other time for selling Flynn's acer laptop away because it was ideal for himself. I admit it was a good laptop though but i just wanted to make a profit out of it. Well, it was a nice Toshiba Satellite laptop which is in snow-white and of a tip-top condition.

Today is my mum's lucky day! She is flying to Japan. Wish her a safe journey and lots of fun in Japan. What a nice place to be in.
