It's Here!!! Yea!!! Football season is finally here. I love watching the games on the weekends! Especially BYU and OU!! Yea!! The weather will soon be getting colder. I look forward to the cooler weather, pizza parties for game time and spending time doing something my husband and I both love...watching college football!! My brother unfortunately got injured a few weeks ago and most likely will not be playing on the field this year for BYU. He will be one of the guys though that gets to dress out and be there just in case! Look for #24 on sidelines "Thomas" if you watch the BYU games! We will miss our football watching buddies that left to watch their beloved UNLV ;)!!!

Scared to Death!
For many of you that have children in a big kid bed...you may have experienced your children coming into your room in the middle of the night for a bad dream or whatever it may be. Makenna has been in a big girl bed for about a month now and has NEVER gotten out bed. We have been so lucky. In the morning she just lays in bed talking until we get her. Last night Tyler and I were dead asleep. All of the sudden I heard a light switch and light go on in the hall. I jumped about 8 feet in the air and screamed, "Tyler...someone is in our house." We both jumped out of bed and swung open the door. To our surprise...Kenna was standing in the hallway with both her blankets just staring at us. She had to go to the bathroom. I have never had anybody walking around my house at 2am and it scared me. We told Makenna she had to stay in bed at night and then this morning I didn't say anything to her about. But she started laughing and told everyone we saw that she scared mommy and daddy. She thought it was funny!!

California!
Kenna was chilling on the couch watching t.v. and I looked over and this is what she was doing. She had her toes in her mouth. It was so funny.
It finally happened. Makenna sat with TyTy. The past few times we have gone to CA she would not go anywhere near my brother Tyler. The funny thing is that when we are in OK all she talks about is TyTy. She actually gave him a hug and sat with him on the couch. He kept stealing her string cheese and she thought that was so funny!
Riley and Makenna playing in the sand. Riley had found a sand crab and tried to show Kenna. Kenna started freaking out! haha.
The water was a little cold!
Look at the sand mommy. Makenna was not afraid to get totally dirty and covered in sand. She had a blast digging in the sand and pouring water in it.
Makenna had fun playing in the water with her Aunt Christy.
Christy was helping Makenna "jump" over the waves. Haha...they were really little.
Isn't she beautiful!?
While I was in CA we got to go to the beach. My mom is a leader in the girls youth program at church and they went for an activity. Kenna and I go to tag along. We went down to Corona Del Mar. It was really nice. A little hot when we got there, but it cooled down nicely. Kenna loved the sand and even loved being in the water even though it was cold. She also got knocked out by a wave and was such a trooper about it!

5 Years!!!!
5 years ago today, Tyler and I were married in the San Diego LDS Temple. I can't believe it has already been that long. For our anniversary this Tyler gave me the coolest present ever. He bought Kenna and I a plane ticket to California and I get to leave this Monday!!!!
The other night we went out to celebrate and we thought we would try a new restaurant. We got dressed up, drove to downtown OKC, paid $3 for parking and went in to the restaurant. I thought Tyler had checked the place out online before we went there. We sat down and I looked at the menu and didn't see anything that I would want to eat. I asked Tyler if he knew what he wanted. He said yea and then glanced at the price. It was about $30 just for an entree. Plus we would have to buy all the sides separate and drinks. So quickly Tyler picked up his phone and acted like his mom had called and that we needed to go pick up Makenna. I felt like an idiot getting up and leaving after we had already sat down. But as poor law students...we couldn't and didn't want to afford that price of food ($60 or more). We weren't even sure if we were going to like it. So all dressed up we got in the car and drove to Texas Roadhouse. It is one of those places where you throw peanut shells on the floor. But for $30 ALL together we got drinks, loaded sides and smothered steaks. haha. It was a funny night. I don't think I have laughed so hard in one night before.
I love Tyler so much. This past year with him being in law school has been rough. He has tried really hard to do little things for me throughout the year (cards, flowers, gifts). He is a great husband and father. Makenna adores him. I am looking forward to the next 5 years and beyond with him! Happy Anniversary Tyler! I love you!

ERRR!!!
It seemed like everything was going alright here in the Larsen household. Cars have been working, air has been working, haven't run out of money yet...haha. Well it was all a little too good to be true. We got home from the lake on Wednesday to find about 1/2 inch of water in our water heater closet. It was being cause by our air conditioner because the condensation was draining properly. So Thursday we had a guy out to look at it. He fixed the pipe and said we were good to go. All the sudden this morning...I walked into the bathroom and water squished out of the grout when i stepped on the tile. The carpet by the air conditioner was super wet. So we called the air man back and he came and looked at it. It was a different guy this time. He looked at it and said that our coils were so rusted out that water wasn't even making it to the drain...it was going straight through our air conditioner and into the air closet and surrounding areas. Errr...now we have to replace it all. I am so super bummed and a little frustrated that the first guy didn't realize the coils. He just changed the pipe. So since the place that has the parts is closed on Saturday afternoon...we can't get it fixed until 8:30am Monday morning. Until then he said not to run our air very much because it will just cause more water....but guess what...it is 90 degrees outside and we have an upstairs that heats up like crazy. Guess we are going to bust out all the extra fans from the garage...well...the 2 extra fans!

She even was wanting to hang over the side of the boat while it was going! haha...crazy girl!
