Go BYU!!

BYU has their first game tomorrow vs. Arizona! My little brother Steven is on the team. He is red-shirting this year, but he will be dressed out and on the field!! My family is all headed up to Utah to be there to watch the game! I wish I could be there too!! GO BYU!!

Makenna loves wearing our clothes. She always takes her clothes off and then finds some of ours to put on. She found Tyler's shirt and put it on herself. She looks so small in his shirt!

Bag Lady!

Makenna is so funny! She put on her hat, got her purse, grabbed my make-up brush and said, "Buh-bye!" It was so funny. She looked so cute!

Prayer Time

Tyler and I have the best little girl ever! She is so much fun. We have taught her how to fold her arms to say her prayers. She usually will fold them when we ask her, but it won't last long. We have been saying bedtime prayers with her every night! Tonight I asked I asked her to fold her arms for prayer and she did. She kept them folded during the whole prayer! She is awesome. I love our little girl!!!

Last night Tyler and I were going out to dinner to celebrate our 4 year anniversary. We wanted to celebrate this week because Tyler will be in school on our real anniversary! So we dropped Makenna off at his mom's house and we headed out to dinner. Unfortunately someone decided to put a dent in our evening....literally!
We were driving on a 3 lane road in the center lane going south. The left lane got backed up because soemone was trying to turn left. There was a man and a woman driving north and trying to turn left as well. Because our left lane was backed up the couple did not see us coming. We were only going about 35mph because that was the speed limit. But that car pulled right out in front of us and there was nothing we could do but hang on. We totally t-boned them. It scared me to death. I started screaming and then started crying. Our reservations for dinner were at 5:00 and the accident happened at 4:50. Everyone involved in the accident was okay. I am a little sore today though. I was so shaken up I didn't even want to get out of the car to see the damage. I saw the damage to the other car and was like. "oh great...what does our car look like?" I was happen to discover that our car was in much better shape...at least looks wise. We will see what the mechanic says! Now we just have to deal with the insurance people.
This was my first real car accident and I can definitely say that I am scared to death to get in a car now.

Makenna has fun playing out in her little blow up pool with the hose! It is really hot here right now. So in the evenings when it's a little cooler we take her outside to hang out in the pool. She loves to hold the hose herself and spray Tyler and I.

Larsen Family Reunion

Aug. 2-5 we had Tyler's Dad's family reunion up at the lake house. Tyler got to wakeboard a few times. He even threw a few flips for old times! Makenna fell on the boat and cut open her head....no...it wasn't fun! But she is okay. It was good to see all the family! Makenna had fun playing with Tyler's cousin David! He is 2yrs. old!

Makenna got a new swimsuit! Kenna and Tyler had fun playing with it. Tyler was trying to make her laugh and it worked!
