Some Fun Things Going On
Grace, Lucy and their friend Annika decided they needed to have a lemonade stand. So they mixed up the lemonade, made their signs and sat out on the curb for a good2 hours. Part way through I made some cookies and they sold those too! They had a great time and made $12.
Grace has been playing soccer this spring and loving it! She is a soccer superstar and it has been so fun to watch her.
Noah has been playing flag football and doing really well.

NYC
To celebrate our 12 year anniversary, Aaron's graduation, and Aaron's birthday, we took a 3 day trip to NYC without the kids! We had a great time and did some very exciting things. Our first stop was the David Letterman Show. Loved it. We even went next door and ordered a sandwich for lunch from Rupert G at the Hello Deli.
The highlights for me were going to Wicked on Broadway and going running in Central Park!
Our hotel was right on Times Square and was directly across the street from this M&M store. They have a wall of all the colors of M&M's you could possibly imagine. So we thought it would be fun to take some M&M's to each of the kids in their favorite color. And we paid $25 for 3 small bags of M&M's. Crazy.
Thanks to Jeff and Brenna for watching the kids for us.

Touring the Capitol
Trying to fit in some last minute sight seeing before our big move!
I took Noah, Grace and Lucy on a tour of the US Capitol and we had a great time. Aaron took Jake to the cafeteria and they also had a great time. I thought the kids looked so cute with their headsets on and look, right behind them is a statue of Brigham Young. (he is the one that is sitting)

Run A Muck
Brenna and I decided to run a 5K together. But this was not just your average 5K. This race involved trail running, climbing over walls, running up hills while ducking under wires, climbing up a rock wall, and crawling through knee deep mud, 3 times. The finish line was crawling under wires through muddy water. We had to tape our shoes to our feet so we would not lose them in the mud. It was tough. And in the end, we threw away our shoes and clothes.
So fun. Well, kind of.
