Hmm. been reading lots of Ultimate players blogs.
The RJ ultimate team is pretty pissed with us.
Apparently we have no sportsmanship and no compassion according to them.
I'm not gonna hit back at them, but i shall express my own views.
Personally, i only played against the RJ team B.
That was a pretty fun match as my team had nothing to lose.
So we just went in on a high, pretty much screaming our heads off when we got D's and Scores.
But we didn't do it to scare the RJ team.
We were pretty much relieved to have found our flow again after two disappointing losses.
At least we were having fun at last, so sorry if we offended any RJ players with our boisterous nature.
Ohwell. I guess things were really heated up on the field, with injuries, arguments and the likes.
Terry got injured from the layout on the track,
Kudo's to those who helped him(the RJ people, and Robin i think).
Joce got injured too, she pretty much got flattned if i remember correctly.
The AC people helped her to the side.
The RJ captain got injured as well, i didn't see the collision so i have no rights to comment.
But we observed one min of silence and said a prayer for him in our team debrief afterwards.
It was great to hear that he was alright during the team dinner afterwards.
There will be moments in Ultimate when the spirit of the game disappears.
It happens to every team.
I did speak aggressively to a CJ guy for shoving me in the back as i ran for the disc.
I did back into an RJ girl while jumping for the disc(it was an accident!i didn't know she was there!but i apologised as soon as i could.)
i dunno why she apologised to me after that though.
All in all i feel that what goes on during the game should be left in the game.

2008 InterJC Champions.
That was one heck of a rollercoaster ride.
The passion every single person showed, the sweat and blood that we shed.
Bloody scary when the red team was 4-2 down to RJ.
Bloody scary when they were 4-3 down with 40 seconds left.
Bloody euphoric when they scored with barely any time left on the clock.
The feeling was awesome when tianloon jumped and caught the disc in the endzone for the winning point.
The moment when the entire ACultimate engaged in the mass huddle in celebration was the best part of the day.
Though my team didn't do well, i'm still extremely proud to be part of the ACblue team.
The best game play for us was against the RJ 'B' team in the group stages.
We really played well against them for the first 5 points.
Maybe we were too nervous in our games.
But there were still many great memories to be kept.
Daryle's triple D, Jake's layouts, the team flow during one of the points scored against RJ.
I'm gonna come back next year to win the competition again.
Whatever team i'm in, i'm gonna play harder.
I passed terms.

frisbee has been great.
though i haven't relly been playing well.
feel like i haven't been putting in enough effort at times.

todays match against DK was good.
though we lost pretty badly, we got a feel of what we could do better.
they totally whacked us with their hammer throws, hucks, and layout D's.
as the NYP coach said, we gotta overcome our mental obstacles to get to the next level.
thats what i intend to do.
I have to believe in myself, my abilities
though it might take some time.
JC life without ultimate would suck.

i didn't really do well for drills and first part of scrimmage.
but our white team really rocked!
we were all jumping around like crazy.
worked our socks off.

every time you jump, fall and miss the disc, it just makes you want it more.
especially the part where kelvyn victor and i collided.

AC Ultimate camp was a blast.
Though I didn't really play that well both days, I still had a great time.
Loved the trainings, the run, the matches, the people.
Didn't really like the aircon at night, the lack of sleep, and the stupid sun.
6 weeks or less to Inter JC.
I don't really care if i'm A team or B team.
Just want to stick with one team so that I get to know my teammates better.
Gotta up my intensity: run harder, cut better, want the disc more.
The Hwa Chong friendly wasn't great for me.
Could've been because of the sun, was really quite pissed with my legs for not moving fast enough, pissed with my hands for the lousy throws.
Haha.
Didn't like the feeling of losing.
We know that we could definitely have beaten them.
Loved it when Nic scored our first point of the day, the subsequent points we scored, the amazing d's by Jake, the willingness of Victor to play even with his abrasion.
I guess that I leant alot during the game, minus the slaps and shoves though.
Haha.
I think the Hwa Chong people are friendly, but their bleachers aren't(Who the heck is their stupid architect?!No shade at all!).
I love the bleachers at ACJC.
Loved the lunch at Adam's road after that.
The girls vs guys match was great.
Loved the attitude during the match, even though we had no subs(until kelvyn tried handling.haha).
They ran hard, we ran hard, even though our limbs were falling off.
Led 5-0, they got it back to 5-4(after introducing 1 extra girl so that it was 7 on 6), before we won(7-5 i think).
Learnt that if you don't want the disc more, the girls WILL take it from you.
Debrief was fun, individual talk with the coaches was enlightening.
The pizza was great.
The heavy rain after that wasn't.
Frisbee's a game of individual battles, but every D we get, every point we score, we do it for the team.
Gonna train harder, do things that i don't do at the moment.
Not gonna let the hwa chong guys(or any other people) do all the layouts next time.
They might want the disc, but the disc is mine.
Can i not switch teams again? Please?
