exco "outing" today. "outing" because we went OUT of school...
breakfast at ikea! i think they have a very interesting service format. i like it!
oh yes. we met up for breakfast at 8 today and because of some unforeseen circumstances which didn't realise (this sounds complicated. it is complicated.), my wonderful plan was spoilt! argh...
so for some weird reasons, ks wanted to go to Giant, opposite ikea. so we did. it was somewhat embarrassing when boss tried to scan the barcode on the barcode scanner and there was a lady standing behind us waiting to scan something and wondering what on earth we're doing. worst thing was that we all have our names printed on our exco tshirts (thank goodness no mention of our school) so we all creeped away with our hands subconsciously covering our names.
fascinating bus route:
take 27 to changi airport and change to 36 to return to school!
i never had the chance to take a bus to changi airport before so it was somewhat exciting having these uniformed personnels coming up the bus looking for 'suspicious items'. boss was very embarrassing again. she kept saying that i looked very suspicious. =.=
went back to school and went to hang out at our cca room. we're the 'visitors with the keys'. ks made a very great sacrifice and went to parkway to get boss a superduper belated birthday cake (chocolate! strangely enough, it looked exactly like the one he bought for shunyuan...). it was supposed to make up for missing her birthday. ahh.. still felt like something was missing. surprise!!!!!!!
subsequently, everything was less exciting.
anyway, must thank sl for meticulously planning this outing, the printed itinerary, the presents and for being such a wonderful tourguide. hm.
the itinerary looked like this:
meet -> eat -> mug -> eat -> mug & eat -> play
it should look like this:
meet(late) -> eat -> hang around -> mug -> bully boss -> mug -> eat -> play -> TRY to mug -> give up mugging -> listen to stupid podcasts
so that was my day! not bad.
other than the part where i hardly did any mugging..

i am such a kope-er... oh well. this is from denise's blog.
it aptly summarises how i feel as well, a feeling which can't really be put into words but here goes..
" i see all the photos
recall all the memories
go through all the files on my computer
read the scrapbook
the reflections
all your notes cards letters gifts
remember all the laughter
stupid jokes
retarded silly things
the times we were so tired
and felt like breaking
yet we still pushed each other on
and no matter how drained we were
we still smiled.
we still laughed.
it's just the special feeling u ppl gave me
cos i could leave school at 8
but still feel so high and energized
like i could just take on anything.
and all the little things u guys did
smses, phone calls, emails, msn chats
words of comfort, encouragement & care
made me feel that every bit of it was worthwhile.
now there's no more reason for meetings
to stay back and talk till 9.30pm in sch
no reason to call and sms each other to check progresses
or busy over venture preps
no reason to run off the moment break starts
so we'd be on time to man booth
or to hang up posters or check on sales
no reason..
can we make up a reason then?"
the on-the-spot exco meetings we have during breaks, the ecards, the little things we do for each other... miss those days. a lot. i would turn time back a thousands times over to relive our past year if i could. is it really over?

pics from the handing over ceremony...

says oddball
righto. we had our farewell ceremony today. arghhhhhhh.. i am officially EX- secretary of BizClub. great. anyway, we went early to finish writing some stuff and we took so long that the juniors kept coming to get us to go.
we had karaoke session and order-in pizza and kfc chicken! initially, everyone seemed very unwilling to sing and the guys practically had "sian" written all over their faces. keep finding excuses to get out somemore. except for cleaven. haha. he rocks. i bet he's a big kbox fan. damn cool. better than all of us.quite unexpected really. TODAY, WE SAW THE OTHER SIDE OF CLEAVEN. and kaili's voice is really good (we suspect that she goes karaoke every other day). huang yu too. at least they were enthusiastic.
ahah! but after the food and the actual handing over, the guys went a bit high (A BIT ONLY) what with their live commentary and photo-taking. that's when the real singing started. it was really high. i mean went-through-the-ceiling kind of high. and poor jonathan was somewhat victimised by his evil seniors. poor guy.

that's the whole group of us squashed into the seats.

J2 guys acting weird (ok. maybe it's normal for them to act weird.)

the shirts denise gave us!! thank you dear! they are REALLY nice.
