Facebook - Student Participation
- We are currently hosting a Facebook group named "CL1201 2009/10 S2". You may search for this group when you have logged into your own Facebook account. As there are some activities which require you to post materials onto this site, please sign up for your own free Facebook account. For those who already have their own personal accounts, you may use them too! Click "Join this group" to enable you to join the group and participate.
- Please be reminded that anyone who posts offensive or irrelevant comments will be banned from this group and will have all his/her marks deducted from the "Participation" category of the assessment. Please be responsible.
- The discussion board is for all students to post queries, and hopefully, some one will be kind enough to provide the answer. Sometimes, the more you try to explain a difficult concept in a simple manner to your peers, the more you will understand it yourself. Try it!
- Participation details:
- Upload picture(s) - create or grab a picture off the web. This picture / series of pictures should tell us something about biochemistry in our everyday life.
- Upload video(s) - create or grab a video off the web. This video could either be one which explains a very difficult biochemistry concept well, or it could be one which demonstrates the application of a biochemical concept in our daily life.
- Rules
- Although this is an "individual assignment" category, do discuss with me should you wish to form groups of not more than 5 especially if you wish to create original picture(s) / video(s) to upload.
- Bonus marks will definitely be given for original content.
- Please include your module group / name / student ID in the comments section so that marks can be correctly awarded to you.
- Please include a short write-up in the comments section on your picture(s) / video(s) so that all of us will know the main points to look out for.
- Should you feel like re-submitting your picture(s) / video(s), just delete your previous entries and resubmit. Re-submissions are allowed until the final submission date is announced. We hope you'll continue to refine your submissions and get better grades!
- Do have fun browsing your peer's submissions and learn more about Biochemistry.
