ATC'07 is over!
last activity. sad right. no i should keep the sadness away. I AM VERY GLAD THAT CADETS ENJOYED IT! at least they looked happy right?
glad that it's an overnight camp glad that there weren't much hiccups glad that i did not have an red eye on day 2 (heng) glad that 40 hang in there without falling out glad to see how happy 40 were during chicken feet when we brought them back as a squad (haha) glad that 40 guided 41 along when their ma'ams weren't around glad that 39 did a great job for campfire glad that 39 did a great job in bringing the companies together glad that 39 did well for cdc (really) glad that delta is (still is right?!) united glad that delta is (still is right?!) spirited glad that delta was loud (boy, they were the loudest!) glad that delta was awarded the MOST CHARISMATIC COMPANY (people love you! 魅力!) glad that 41 improved glad that the unit improved throughout the camp

ok. finally, i am here to blog about ATC 2007! even though it was expected and i knew that i would be going into CHARLIE again for my last year, yee lin and i were still high-ing about getting into our own companies for the last year. haha. during the announcing of the company allocation we were like shaking each other hands and congratulating each other. haha. and we were high-ing behind.
anyway. even before the camp started, our squad was somewhat tired already. cause we were moving stuff down to the operations room/NCO bunk which was actually 308. haha. ya. we almost moved the whole NP room down. haha. so it was tiring. and the most important thing was that we were wearing our full uniform. haha. yep. after taking down the stuff, cadets fell in and we took attendance. i took attendance for 39. but we took it using our NCO booklet. so i had some difficulty finding the 39's name. haha. yep. fun though. hahahahaha! -.- i don't know why i typed that. but i don't know why it's fun anyway. hahaha.
ok. later.. ah well. can't remember. shall i just take my NCO booklet? yes. i shall go and take it now. haha. ok now i can remember with the help from my NCO booklet. which i love very much. hahaha :D
anyway. cadets fell in at the assembly area which was at the area near the vending machines. yep. what's with the company tables man! hahaha. it's too cool! and sherin ng cannot stand it! haha. especially when i see the CHARLIE flag there. hahaha. yep. hahah. so linette and sharon welcomed cadets to ATC 2007. and started with reporting and collecting of valuables and ez links. oh. ya. and medication. haha. only zhi ying and chu xi gave their medication. esther gave hers and she gave it as like er valuables?! hahaha. so i was like ok. anyway ya. about CHARLIE..

YUP! THAT IS CHARLIE 2007!! anyway. haha. yup. we collected squad items. and hui shan passed to us the campfire stuff they needed for campfire. (obviously) and it was a failed attempt when she tried to remember who handed the pink pouch over. anyway it was esther's medication. but i don't know why it entered the valuables bag. haha. -.- yep. issued 2 watches and 2 alarm clocks per company. however, in the end we issued 1 watch and 1 alarm clock. yep. ah well. later we changed into PT kit and they took their rifles. yep.
and after that was bag check in the canteen. cause the quadrangle was still wet. cause it rained in the morning. anyway ya. then the best thing about bag check was that charlie did not have any illegal items. so i was happy. hahaha. yep. anyway jacinta forgot to take out a lot of stuff from her bag. so chuxi thought she didn't bring them. cause they had to change places within their companies and check their ma'am's/cadet's bag. yep. after that immediately down 25. anyway yup. compared to the sec 2 one where charlie owed 900+++ punishments. it was a vast improvement. haha. yep!
next: ice breakers. haha. ah well. charlie didn't have anyone at first. cause it was supposed to be me. but i was the overall medic. so at first i went to take care of chuxi. cause she was having a flu. so she wasn't feeling that well. in the end sharon took care of her while i went over to charlie. yep. sharon was stationary medic. yup. so i heard them self intro. and i told them to say something else about themselves. then guess what?! hahaha. people started saying that they like act and dalt. so er.. haha. yep. before that it was worse. they just said their batch, name, and spelt out their name for everyone to hear -.- haha. yep. so later we went over to the trophy cabinet to play the erm. catching the snake's tail game. haha. during the trial run i kept running out of the line cause it was ultra scary when the head tries to catch the tail. and i was at the end of the line. and our line had many empty spaces hahaha! cause we only had 4 people to play -.- hahaha. so it was ultra funny during the trial run. yep. oh ya. alpha was trying to play at the assembly area (AA). which was obviously impossible. hahahaha. cause all the companies were there!! so i stared at linette and told her it was impossible. and alpha and charlie went over to the trophy cabinet. later we combined and played. hahaha. then suddenly bravo wanted to join. so it became an ultra long line. then after a few failed attempts. haha. we broke them into half and played again. -.- hahah they were really quite funny. heh. then delta came. and i stopped them in time. hhaha. by sticking out my hand. so that they won't join our line -.- haha cause it was ultra long by then. heh.
yep. later we had campcraft comp. hahah. what's with the "alpbrachadel" man. hahaha. i wonder how squadmates said it out -.- hahaha. anyway charlie's 5.5m hemp was 3-4m only. so i had to rush up halfway to get more 5.5m hemp. so luckily i got 4. cause delta needed one later. haha. yep. anyway ya. we were cheering at the side while cadets were pitching. yep. heh. ok. i shall move on. later judged tent. heard a bit of the gadget presentation as well -.- haha :D yep. later we had a discussion while they had a water break and oh. they brought their gadget to the AA. yep. haha.
the next game was unit is ... XT and i took alpha. haha. we were high-ing them throughout the whole game man. so they became quite on. hahaha. anyway i tell you right. alpha 的人眼睛贴stamp 耳朵也贴 stamp i tell you. hahaha. there was supposed to be a surprise hornet drill at the cc plot. then we shouted 3 times of "hornet!" before they looked behind. and after that, respond. hahaha. -.- it was totally like hur?! hahaa. the last one i was so !!! that i said "HORNET LA!!!!" hahah -.- oh. then they kept walking past the clue without realising. hahaha. yep. at the 2nd level lift there. haha they were supposed to find photos of people in the unit. yep. anyway ya. later alpha got first :D haha. anyway at the spice garden i didn't expect them to find it that fast. so i went to help them fill their bottles. then later i was halfway filling then they said they found it already! so i was freaking out! hahaha. i was like omg! where's the cap where's the cap. then i after a few seconds i realised i was holding it -.- then everyone laughed. -.- and we rushed down to the AA. met charlie on the way. haha :D yep
after that we had lunch. outdoor cooking. yep. we were eating our cup noodles before we rushed off to set up "answer:_____" haha. delta was funny man. anyway xt and i took delta. hahah. ok. haha let's talk about some people in delta now -.- hahaha. jin qing jumps when she is thinking of the answer. zhi yi jumps, points at the window, looks outside the classroom (at the window) while she is thinking of the answer. furthermore, when she chooses a number, she slams it on the table and waits for the question. if she doesn't know the answer. she hits the table on top. -.- it happened quite a few times so i remember it very vividly. -.- hahaha. oh. wen xian got the most correct man! hahah. oh ya. the how many cards are there in a deck (poker cards, excluding jokers) then wen xian used her fingers to start counting -.- then we were quite amused. hhahahaha. anyway 52 la.
later the next activity was 当我们同在一起. i was the stat medic so i didn't go with any company. but later puay ling had cramps so i rushed to the balancing beam game. haha. yep. and later i saw charlie playing. haha with bravo. anyway a lot of people had blisters. so i treated them by pasting plasters. hahaha. many in fact. haha. some interesting facts. yin hwee goes "stone stone stone" when she plays scissors-paper-stone. haha. ying yun too. hahahaha. so funny. yung hian screams when she loses. 40 is violent (ok we knew this long ago.) hahaha. yep. later i went back to the AA. later i went to the GO to get the hot water pouch for puay ling. anyway later ying yun's leg cramped. so i rushed to the track. so i met charlie again! haha. yep :D anyway i let her put her leg on the medic bag. (OMG! I TYPED WATERMELON AT FIRST!! hahahah) ok. anyway that station had a watermelon attached to it -.- sounds weird. anyway ya. later i saw linette's note saying that we don't need to take the watermelon (lots of ants you see..) yep. later charlie went to the 我挺你! station. which was supposingly the hardest. then later by the time i went up with ying yun they were almost halfway through. then later i joined in. anyway csm kicked my handphone which i placed on the floor cause we had to commando crawl. hahaha. i was like OMG!! anyway ya. i tried supporting jia wen's leg but my leg was in an awkward position -.- so i kept trying to adjust it. anyway ying yun's leg cramped again! but sharon took care of her later. yep. haha. so finally finished. hahaha. i realised that people shouldn't stick out their butts when they commando crawl man. haha. -.- the people on top have to go so high when they do that. hahah. yep. anyway i went back to take care of the casualties after charlie finished. hahaha. later water break and company time. took 39 out for save me from the dark. they took their blindfolds and went to 305 or 306. cannot remember. for this activity. anyway we blindfolded them before we went in. another interesting fact: jia wen cannot differentiate from her left hand and right hand cause while i was bringing her in i told her that there was a chair on her left. then she thought for a while then said left? then she raised her both hands to think. hahaha. then i was like. 算了.. hahaha. ok. yep in the end it was ultra tough. with 39 doing twinkles for an ultra long time and some doing pumping position outside while 40 and 41 were trying to lead 39 out. yep. so later we debriefed 39 for save me from the dark. anyway. joyce was feeling ultra unwell. she kept shivering. so i guess it was somewhat serious. so sharon and i missed flag lowering. we were taking care of her along with ci ma'ams. yep. later we brought her to the GO using a stretcher. yep. and her parents fetched her home. yup. quite an experience.
oh anyway. jin qing had leg cramps during 当我们同在一起. then sock tried to put her arm over her and bring her to the AA. but er. it wasn't that successful cause sock was taller. hahaha. so in the end sock asked me to do it instead -.- then i was like ok. hahah. anyway it was just nice -.- so i brought her to the AA. anyway sock told me to be more caring cause i let ying yun walk down by herself. hahha. i didn't know i was supposed to hold her. hahahaha. yep.
anyway later they had dinner and they washed up. squadmates prepared for night walk. xt, linette, sharon and i ate in the medic room (307) cause there were casualties. but didn't eat much. later i went up to the 4th level spice garden to wait alone. -.- which was somewhat scary. so i started looking at my nco booklet and focus on my handphone. haha. but i have great self-control. so i don't freak out -.- hahaha. yep. later jomain came and many other people came. mostly alpha and bravo. charlie and delta had less people. anyway. yup. had to stop cause we overrun already. haha. so i walked the route 2 backwards. from the end point. haha. then i saw ma'am hiding behind the whiteboard. so i said "erm ma'am. we are stopping the night walk already" hahaha. -.- then later i found hui han walking alone. haha. and later went to find yin hwee jia wen and hui cong. i think they took quite a while to find the stuff so they ended up together. yep. to tell you the truth. hahah i got a small shock when i saw the bamboo stick with a poncho on top of it -.- HAHAHAHA. ah well. hahah. later asked them to go the AA. later sock came up and said that esther wasn't back. so we walked back the route again from the start. trying to find her. however we couldn't find her. so we went to the AA again. and she was there. we were quite scared that she was missing. yep.
later we had company debrief. we rah rah them for quite a while. haha. so they became a little more high. hahaha. especially with the "char char char char lie...." short cheer which was ultra high-ness. at least for us. hahaha. later yep. we were ready for a new CHARLIE man. yep. later linette came to tell us that we over run already. yep so we quickly finished everything and tried to end earlier. yep. haha tried.
later when the charlie ncos went back we were ultra high -.- haha. until i couldn't sleep later. xt too. hahha but i didn't know. i couldn't sleep until 2:30 or later. anyway i kept flipping and turning arround and half way i saw a living thing. haha. i couldn't see what it was. so i jumped up and shined my hp at it. but i still couldn't see what it was. hahaha. then linette woke up. hahah -.- oops. then i went to take a chair and sat on it trying to sleep with my head on the table. later i couldn't sleep so i tried sleeping while sitting on the chair. anyway linette told me that she saw me doing all of that. cause she couldn't really get back to sleep after that. hahaha. later i slept on the blue tarp. and after quite a while i fell asleep. yep. no prowler and sentry cause in the end ci ma'ams were doing it. (thanks! :D) TOs didn't want us or cadets to do it. yep. ah well.
-.- anyway. next day woke up at 4:30. so i slept less than 2 hours. haha. tired man. practised a bit of dance for campfire. and prepared logistics. went through some activities. anyway we were trying to sleep at 12:35 like that. cause we went through some activities. had to prepare breakfast and stuff. fire drill too. yep. later had some free time for cadets. i went to prepare the medic station at the quadrangle. and later we had flag-raising. after that pt. i did stationary stuff at the quadrangle. until people started falling out. the casualty rate was ultra high man. my pt was actually running up and down the stairs, running to the GO, getting water many times. ya. -.- and running at top speed man. at least my top speed. so i was O.O by the time every thing was settled. hahaha. yep.
later we had breakfast. i had mine in the quad. cause yung hian didn't join in the next activity so we started asking her the questions for catch me if you can. hahaha. i wonder why people think that my boot size is the smallest man. anyway i heard that charlie got the most number of questions correct. 10!! hahah. anyway ya. i was watching them run up and down from the medic station which was situated at the sheltered area near the quad. yep. i was burning inside man. hahaha. burning with passion and high-ness. i think it was from the night before. hahaha. yep.
later we started preparing for cd comp while csm briefed the rest. hahah. shi yun was trying to put the blood really artistic-ly. hahaha. while trying to close the bottles red food colouring i made my hands really red. hahaha. accident. -.- anyway ya. after the first round of acting crazy. we were really tired -.- alpha and charlie first. yep. hahah. anyway we did our stop drop roll. HAHAHHA. we went to the quad and yee lin said. EH GOT FIRE!! then she said what should we do? then we said together. 1. STOP! 2. DROP! 3. ROLL!!!!... hahah cadets were freaked out man. hahaha. they were like ma'am!! cannot roll on the floor. -.- hahaha. i was quite amused. but later we kept playing and running around. and finally we settled down to let people bandage us. yep. 39 great job man. hahah. most of them were calm and knew what they had to do. yep. hahah. for bravo and delta we were more calm cause we finally were a little more tired -.- haha. yep. sock yeelin and i started singing -.- hahah really loudly. heh. anyway some 40 did a great job too man. :D haha. yep. later we debriefed for CDC and yep. water break. then lunch. outdoor cooking. instant noodles again. lin yan ma'am and yan ting ma'am wanted to cook too. and they even wanted to help us cook! but later we said that it was ok! but ma'ams insisted. haha thank you ma'ams. but later we had too much stuff to do so we couldn't go. yep. later taught charlie and bravo and alpha the atc song.
later they fell in for chicken feet! ultra madness man. hahaha. i brought charlie to the quad and we started throwing all the stuff at them. anyway it was disgusting. hahaha. yep. later i had a hard time kidnapping 39. -.- hahaha. it was violent. interesting facts: jia wen is a violent girl and she grabs other people really tightly. hahaha. yin hwee is a strong girl who grabs other people really tightly too. she will let go of the shoulder in front of her then place it back again -.- so i had a hard time. HAHAHA. omg. anyway for hui shan it was hard too. but easier cause she was the last person. in the end a few of us pulled her away together and we finally got her out -.- i had a hard time detaching their hands from other people man. HAHA. later right. i went to try to pull jin qing out. it was ultra hard man. katherine grabbed ultra hard. hahah. yup. in the end almost 4-5 squadmates pulled her out together. hahaha. i fell down while trying to pull her out man -.- hahahahha.
hahaha. ah well. haha. played with 39 -.- and started pulling out people's shoes -.- hahahahaha. quite fun la. heh. later it ended quite fast cause they had to prepare for their campfire. so they washed up and went to prepare. sock and i were doing the most mentally torturing thing man. we were trying to clear up the quadrangle. i walked to the water cooler at least more than 20 times i tell you. it was bahhh. and sock mopped like so many large squares. -.- tiring. anyway. ya 2 squadmates came to help and after a while we went to bath. some squadmates went to bath before that already. yep. so they took over. then later we went to bath. hahah. yep. later i felt a little better. hahaha. anyway we went to look at 39 for a while. later we went to find them again and tried to help them attach the light sticks to the switch while some of them went for dinner. ah well. we were hoping that they won't hate us for what we did to the switch man -.- it was -.- hahahah. anyway. ya. oh by the way. their campfire structure died before that. so they had to redo it. yep. later csm went to help. ok.
later had flag lowering. and later sharing by corrine ma'am. i was burning even more after her montage man. some of the stuff i remember is "don't interrupt when someone is complimenting you. take a deep breath and say "thank you, say one more please!"" , "we have 3 hearts. one in the mind. one in the gut and one in the ___" i forgot already.. ah well. another one was the "attitudes are contagious, _______" and many other cool ones. hahaha. i loved the montage. yep. many exciting experiences from corrine ma'am. hahah her 2 daughters are cute man. hahah :D
later we had our CAMPFIRE man. :D haha i took a video of company performances and omega sliding down. cool man. anyway i loved the symbolic structure. hahaha. only 38 (us) and ex-ma'ams highing behind lor. -.- so it was so. uhhhhhh... haha. but we tried keeping the highness up. yep. hahaha for our dance i was so 紧张 that i did quite a few moves wrongly. hahahaha. -.- and wah. i couldn't stop laughing man. anyway i was ultra paiseh -.- hahahaha. but some moves were successful man. hahahhaa. yep. :D so quite fun. later the campfire ended quite abruptly. yep. then 39 started clearing their campfire while we were having debrief with 40 and 41. oh mass 抢rifle session. managed to 抢 quite a few. yep.
later had squad debrief. 41 ncos were fierce man. with all the 抢-ing of rifles and scolding at the trophy cabinet. we couldn't help but keep looking at them. 39 had theirs in the quad. 40 at the AA. yep. haha. yup. we told them the campfire was well done on the whole. yep. sheila's "that is really spoon feeding man" was ultra funny. everyone started laughing and laming out man. hahahahhaa. she spoilt the atmosphere but it was ultra funny. hahaha.
yep later company debrief. more rah rah-ing and it was quite a short one. yep :D CHARLIE!
ok. later we had to discuss about some stuff. i can't remember what time we slept. 12? haha. anyway i managed to sleep. oh the night before we celebrated yee lin's birthday by sticking a candle into a fruit bar. talking about yee lin. she was talking on the phone like quite loudly at night to her friends -.- then we all couldn't sleep -.- hahaha. oh 2nd night jing yi was finding something so she was shining her torch everywhere. but i was so tired that i fell asleep almost immediately. woke up at 5:30. ok. i woke up a bit earlier. cause i usually put my alarm at an earlier time. yep. later settled some stuff about activities. and went to prep logis. later pt. at first went to bring yung hian to medic station. then i missed the first 2 rounds of running and i joined for the rest. yep. anyway. just want to say good job zhi ying! linette and i have witnessed your endurance. she had stitches the whole way but she finished the whole thing man. i am proud of you :D haha. she even rejected falling out man!!!! yeah! anyway ya. SPREAD EAGLE was the ultimate 幸福-ness i tell you. i could just lie there for the whole day. hahah.
later we quickly rushed through the prep for nynp 物语 during breakfast. later left 5 minutes. so shi yun and i split up. so i went to quad. yup. i put the clues for the quad. apparently, haha. it was the hardest to find. for us, charlie and delta were stuck there. but the one they couldn't find. ok. found for the longest was the one under the ledge near the bushes. charlie and delta ncos were going crazy i tell you. ya. i felt that the hardest was the one i pasted under the lamp and the one behind the bushes. hahaha. i got poked by the branches quite a few times man -.- hahah. i climbed up the ledge to put the lamp one. hahah. :D so evil eh. haha :D anyway ya. even though we got 4th for this one but ya :D haha. it was still a good job. they lost points mainly cause they couldn't guess the songs.
later we had cheer comp prep. haha. in the end charlie was the most exaggerated company man. hahaa. even we "decorated" ourselves. woah. i felt the spirit while they were preparing for cheer comp. they were ultra loud i tell you :D haha. i was so happy. hahaha. haha funny. anyway we were quite shocked to see that squadmates did not do much for themselves. hahaha. we were the most shocking i tell you. haha. with the ribbons on our heads and the (OMG! I SPILT PURPLE YAKULT ON MY NCO BOOKLET!!) oh man. i hate myself so much o.o gahhhhh. anyway. 必胜 written on masking tape and pasted on our foreheads. and the blue triangular bandage. anyway interesting fact: yin hwee is pro in making stuff haha. the charizard she made from newspaper and masking tape was ultra cute. hahaha. yep. anyway we also drew 2 Cs on our faces. hahaha. later there were a few people sweating so it kind of came off but i saved it. hahaha. yep. anyway charlie ncos were high-ing once again. haha yep. during the impromptu (somewhat) part where we had to perform something according to the song we were totally like 放. doing all the weird moves and shaking man! hahah. it was very fun :D heh :D anyway charlie did a great job :D hahah. jingyi is really funny by the way. shi yun too. hahah. actually all the NCOs were the funniest. hahaha :D yep.
later area cleaning while we decided on cheer comp stuff and what names to give each company. heh. haha. later wrote on ice cream sticks. and prepared for the prize giving later. after that they fell in. and later told them to untie flagstaff while we settled the tents. yep. later gave out prizes. charlie looked quite disappointed.. but we already felt that it no longer mattered since we were such a fun company and a cute one too. yep. oh congrats alpha. alpha best company. bravo most endearing. charlie most spirited. delta most charismatic. yep! heh. hahah anyway charlie no matter what, i am still proud of you all. yep. heh. then no squad debrief and company debrief (for charlie) cause we had to break camp by then. so quite sad. i didn't hear what they said for the small debrief we had. cause i was trying to find the missing wallets. which in the end, wasn't missing. ah well.
anyway after that our squad still had to clear up np room, tent sheets and operations room. so we were like dying already. cause we haven't ate our lunch. then later we did everything until 5 something before we left school. our squad was in a bad shape man. hahaha. we were so tired and hungry that we could just die on the spot. haha but during the camp we didn't really show our tiredness. haha. high-ness all the way! yeah. so good job for that. yep. anyway we dragged ourselves to KAP. and as usual, we saw 39 and 40. no 41 though. hahaha. later it was another round of ultra high-ness with linette and i laughing for no reason many times. hahaha. so funny. now if you say the same stuff i won't laugh man. hahaha. i was crazy i tell you. hahah every squadmate was crazy la. in their different ways. hahah. yep. later we went home at 7+ i think. anyway. good job CHARLIE, the 07 generation :D hahah

final and last camp for Batch 38. all the preparations for this camp was tough. spent a long time. sacrificed many things. but we finally finished the camp successfully. seeing Batch 39 improve was one of the most touching and happiest things. seeing cadets grow throughout the camp was cool. capturing the fond memories each and every one of us shared was the most exciting thing to do. we have left many memories for cadets. and they have done so for us as well. i am proud of 39. and i am happy to say that. my happiness cannot be expressed using the word "happy". it isn't enough. it's what we have been waiting for. (= also, great job CHARLIE! we saw you all grow during the camp. :D this is the 2nd best year out of my charlie days. :D sec 3 was the best. :D and i still think it is the best. i loved it when i pushed myself even further during the sec 3 camp. :D

cos i just watched a jap movie. nada sousou. haha.
