anyway today we had ATF (Adventure Training Facilities).. hahaha..

ok. that was a short introduction.

we met at 7:00am at Changi Jetty and changed into our PT kit.

hmm. then later we took the bumboat to Pulau Ubin.

hahaha. anyway squadmates were putting sunblock and they looked like they were having some facial thing. hahaha.

We walked to the Noordin Campsite!

and we reached.

oh. hahaha. we were the earliest.

and we waited until around 9:30am.

yup. area 15!

ok. finally we started on the activities. hahahah

(oh my. this post is really weird but i shall just continue.)

ok. the 5 facilities that we could (someone is calling me. sharon. ok continue.) try out: (1) Flying Fox (21metres!!)

(2) Leap of Honour

(3) the one with many logs -.- (DD)

(4) Tunnel

(5) erm. the tripod thing. (HRC)?

ok so i tried everything except the 5th one. (this is supposed to be really amazing) haha. ok. so because we were the earliest. we had the chance to go for the flying fox first. hahahaha. ok. and i went with sock keng. first to go down -.- ah well. hahaha. shi yun went with yee lin. li ann went with xue ting. sharon went with jing-yi. chua si min went with lee si min. linette went with sheila. anyway i went first cause squadmates said that if you go first it won't be that scary. compared to going erm. last. hahaha. ya. ok. ok. ok. (pai bi) erm. so actually i guess we were supposed to shout something. hahaha. but in the end i only shouted. hahaha. as in like "AHHHH!" type. not like NYNP! and stuff. hahaha. but sock wanted to shout NYNP or something like that. can't really remember. haha. anyway, erm. cause i knew that if i had to let go (sharon called :D) by myself i wouldn't -.- hahahaha. so i asked the ma'am there if she could push me -.- hahahaha. ok. anyway after a while of (sharon called me again :D) erm. hahaha. sitting. someone said 1, 2, 3 and ma'am pushed me off. hahahha. and i was screaming -.- hahaha. ok. throughout the whole thing i was screaming. hahaha. ok not the whole thing. but i cried on the way down -.- ah well. hahahah. yes. and finally finished! ok. after thinking back maybe there was nothing to scream about. but 21 metres is really scary o.o hahaha. ok. yup. so later i felt really weird and we went to the shed to wait for squadmates. oh. we weren't splitted up into groups. so we went around to try stuff in our own units.

ok. erm. we waited for quite a while. and we did the TUNNEL! hahah. it was ok. hahah. li ann was really high. hahah. and i was feeling high as well :D haha. yup. so it was quite funny. haha. anyway... sock keng went with shi yun. yee lin went with xue ting. lee si min went with chua si min. linette went with sheila. jing-yi went with sharon. oh maybe linette went with jing-yi and sheila went with sharon. i can't really remember. haha. quite blur -.- by then. haha. yup. anyway we were supposed to find a red ball. haha. but in the end we took an orange ball and i didn't realise it until li ann told me. haha. but we threw it back. -.- ah well. hahahah. yup. ok. and we waited..... and waited.....

and waited...

suddenly we had lunch. haha.

(like what csm said. my fingers are laughing not me)

ok after lunch we went back to the shed.

we waited for erm. a while. before we went to queue up for (sharon called me again :D) the leap of honour thing. haha. erm. ok.

haha i'm not sure if i took very long. but i guess i took quite long. hahahah. ya. ok. so sock keng went first. followed by. shi yun. yee lin. linette. li ann. jing-yi. me. yup. the rest went to do the HRC thing. yup. yup went to jia you for squadmates. and later it was my turn. hahaha. we had to tell the sir our name. haha :D so he could encourage us to jump i guess. haha. yup. ok. anyway i climbed up. hahaha. my arms are too short -.- hahaha. as in i had to really stretch to reach the thingy. (shi yun just called me :D) (i am a busy person) (omg. mr ho is really a nice TO. we should appreciate him more :D) (i am touched) (anyway i am busy filling up a form now.)

ok. going to be 12 soon. anyway. haha. i was up there for quite a while. and finally i stood on the pole. haha. the whole area was encouraging me o.o hahah. and after quite a while (a long period of time?) i finally jumped. -.- hahah. yes. jing-yi told me that she was very touched when she saw so many people cheering for me. ok. but i heard a lot of weird encouragements from squadmates. hahahahah. yup.

oh ya. sock kept saying ng kin kin -.- hahahahhaa. don't ask me why. anyway i supposingly made her high later. hahaha.

ok. later we waited. and after thinking for erm. a long period of time. i decided to try out the DD thingy. hahaha. but when i was climbing it with lsm i wondered why i was up there -.- hahahaha. anyway lsm could have just climbed the whole thing by herself :D hahaha. i was hugging the log. (koala bear) hahahah. oh my. sounds so .. (insert word) ok. anyway the instructors were encouraging :D hahaha. yup. climbed to the third log? cause we had only 5 minutes for each group. NO TIME! yes. then there were many squadmates going for the HRC thing. suddenly. yes. haha. and i was shouting for them from the shed. hahaha. yes. and linette said that she felt motivated. haha. anyway i shouted for every squadmate. so i became quite high later. haha. sock made a cheer for li ann while she was doing the HRC. hahaha. anyway almost everyone went back to the foyer already. but we were still there encouraging squadmates and areamates who were still doing the HRC thing. yup. hahaha. and we went back to the foyer. oh ya. hahaha. i suddenly remember that i knocked my head while trying to stand up on the log. hahahah. i was holding the log and i guess i (kind of) forgot that there was a log there. so i just tried to stand up. hahahah. yes. then lsm said she was like ??? yes. hahaha. people do amazing stuff when they are confused. oh. hahah lsm mentioned "graces camp" when we were trying to climb the thing -.- hahaha. sliding across. hahah! ok. yup. anyway almost every squadmate completed all the 5 stations. hahah. yup. anyway it was really fun la. hahah. lsm commented that 我今年比较勇敢.. haha. last year's atc was a horror! hahaha. yup. anyway the 21metre flying fox thing was a lifetime achievement. (for me) haha. cause i didn't expect to jump off anyway. ok. i didn't jump. i got pushed off. hahaha. but at least i asked the ma'am to push me off. hahaha. so it shows that i wanted to try. haha. improvement! yup. haha. even though i didn't shout anything in the end. haha. except "AHHH!" ok. i guess the whole thing was quite good unless you consider crying and adrenaline rush as bad things. hahah. yup. so i am supposed to be really tired now. since my adrenal glands secreted adrenaline at least more than 5 times today. hahaha. ok. anyway i was encouraging people with sentences like "even i can do it!".. haha. ok. yup.

one year ago at areatc i was staring at the 21m tower wondering if i would really try it out. and one year later, i tried it out. haha. i still remember that the sir there said that we will regret if we don't try it out. and he said that even if we don't jump down, we can climb up the tower and look at the scenery. at least we took the first step. haha this year i took the first step. and i jumped :D hahaha. anyway i am really happy. this is one of the most fulfilling days of my life. hahaha. with so many people encouraging me. hahaha. and trying out more stuff.
