the other time some squadmate actually said she forgot the existence or significance of this particular quote. how could you have!whoever you are, i hope you remember where this quote came from or how it got attached to our squad...

to my dearest, favouritest squadmates,
if ever you feel down and out, disheartened and discouraged, lonely and dismal, distant and faraway, lost and misled, i hope you'll always remember what we batch 38 have gone through as one squad over the years.
it's always good to look back at what we've gone through together, because sometimes people are so forgetful they forget important things that happened that might not have been that easy to remember.
so to prevent that from happening, look back more often.
whatever, even if we don't want to, the clock is counting down to the day we leave the unit.
