Video Conferencing

My sister Amy and niece Mylie came over today and we video conferenced with my parents in England. It was so nice to see them while we talked and they loved seeing Tre and Mylie - the two new additions to our family since they've been gone. They're over half-way done with their stay and we can't wait for them to come home for good! We look forward to seeing you for football season and we're so glad you're able to come home for Christmas this year. It wasn't the same without you last year. We loved your comments on the blog too! Sometimes it's hard to hook up with the time difference so this will be yet another way we can keep in touch. The boys love it! :)

Here are some new pictures of my adorable niece. She's already 4 months old. Can you believe it?!

And the proud mommy...

Mylie's so smiley!

Kaedan and Carter had so much fun holding her. She's so little compared to Tre! I guess I should've got some pictures. Troy was trying to set up the video conferencing stuff and I was trying to keep Tre off her so we didn't exactly have a free hand. We'll have to get some next time.

We did however try and get a picture of both new grandbabies. They didn't turned out as planned. We had some technical difficulties with the conferencing software and by the time we got everything set up it was nap time. The pictures are still pretty funny though. Tre just loves Mylie but he gets so excited that he gets rough. In a few months they'll be able to play together so well. I can't wait! We still need to plan our drive-in movie night Amy!

Here's the first picture trying to get Tre to turn around and leave her alone during the picture.

This is a little better- at least you can see his profile...

It didn't last long. He was down for a nap within a few minutes of this picture. You gotta love this stage! He's just starting to throw temper tantrums. Tons of personality I tell ya!! :)

Water Days at Grandma's

Tre and Kaylee had Hawaii day at Grandma Nye's house last week and we celebrated the 24th at Grandma & Grandpa Nye's with big blow up water toys that the kids loved! Thanks for letting us borrow them Lynette & Allen. They were thoroughly enjoyed! Thanks for setting them up Grandpa Nye. And thanks for planning 2 great days Grandma Nye. It is so fun to get all the cousins together. We topped the 24th off with some homemade ice cream. Thanks Kirsten! It was yummy! Nothing beats ice cream on a hot day!

The videos from Hawaii day are too cute! Kaylee was really sweet with him. Tre had so much fun he didn't want to leave!

The 24th consisted of...

Helping Grandpa Nye get things set up...

Piggy back rides...

Bucket sharing...

Trying to drench Brad...

High jumps...

Cool slides...

Boys being boys...

More sliding...

Relaxing on the patio...

And fun visting. What a great day!
