How is it going

For those who wonder, don't worry. I'd probably have my job till Q1 2009.

It's still business as usual for now - the sale has not been finalised yet. For such a big firm, analysts are thinking it would take a while to trickle down to Asia. I don't think so - they'd probably start with examining the US operations first - given that the headquarters of both firms are there. I would think Asia is next - to ride the curve, I would expect them to quickly make a decision on the operations here to be profitable.

I have no qualms that the move is good for the firm and maybe not for me. But as always the only constant is change. So my plans? Spiff up the resume. If I get booted under the new director and yet cannot find another, my parents would be as pleased as pie that I resume studying.

Or I can take on something that's totally different from the sector that I'm in now - but will have to see. Running head-on in a different direction like a headless moose is not good as well.

We'll see.

Amazing how it has been executed again.

Is it true - after accusing one of the same misdemeanor many times everyone will start to have a nagging thought in their minds that it could be true.

Or did he deal his own blow? To garner sympathy and have everyone deem his rival as unjust and evil.

Did his old rival deal the same card? Afterall, no one thinks he would be insane to hurl the same accusation. At the same time the arrow from everyone will be aimed at who he has been potshots of recently.

Or is it just really straight forward - he did do it. Afterall, what usually is unimaginable is much closer to the truth.

How many me's?

Out of pure boredom and curiosity, I googled my name. What popped up surprised me a bit. Turned out that 2 were correct references to me - from my previous job. Others which appeared were mostly male. It's no secret to those who know my Chinese name that I have a guy's name. But my dialect name does not let on it's true nature, rather it resembles a female name. Browsing further revealed that one of my namesake's a WWF fan(!) Bizarre... Another link I followed led me to a site which I think it's a great idea - it's a job site for students to post their resumes which also allows pple to rate their abilities. Ok, so it may be a bit painful. But great platform for self-marketing though. (http://www.nineo.com)

Tired...

I'm a pushover. I've always known that. People who know me know I'm one too.
But I get terribly upset when people close to me take advantage of that.
Is it human nature? To want to push for as much as they can, even if it's someone they are close too?
