time passes really fast when you're enjoying..

woke up at 6am this morning to meet the 'crazy' pple in the cg.. namely me, huili, cheemin, yingling and Coach.. for breakfast at kallang macs before going for service.. hA..

totally love the service today.. the P&W section was the best lar.. of course the message was awesome too!! then had lunch after that.. hot hot hot.. hA.. chatted.. den all headed home..

i went to LP with huili to meet up with karen.. passed her a nus cluster tee.. yingling bought for her.. totally made me feel so guilty.. how can i forget to get one for karen?!?! zzzz... so much more to learn from yingling.. to put more of others before self.. arhhhh...

anw.. sunday is coming to an end.. and somehow.. im feeling rather.. sian? God... hmmm... anw.. wednesday is a public holiday!!!!

the cg's gonna send yongxun off to Japan on tues nite.. he's going there on an exchange.. apparently he's like super smart in nus.. lolz.. and he's gonna be there for one whole year!!! omg.. and he's going there all alone lar.. ohmy..

so at least there's something to look forward to this week.. tuesday nite.. and saturday's arrow.. yippee :)

oh.. i realised i forgot to mention that i went for my health checkup at raffles hospital (bugis) yesterday.. for MOE.. spent like 4+ hrs there.. urine test, xray, physical examination.. which was TOTALLY gross.. hA.. felt so 'raided' after that.. haha.. shant elaborate lolz..

but i found 2 new friends at the hospital yesterday too!! ha.. also just going into the education service like me.. praise God.. haha..

went to munchie monkey at yih nus yesterday for nus cluster activity!! we had dinner together with our various cgs.. den there were some performances.. praise and worship.. den we broke into our cgs again for sharing.. and the session ended with coach praying over us..

collected our nus cluster tee!! very nice!! the wordings go.. "Future's so bright, i gotta wear shades!" followed by some verse from jeremiah.. cant remember which.. haha.. tshirt is in the wash nOw..

gotta wear the teeshirt tml for our combined service at indoor stadium.. and apparently coach said we're supposed to tie a scarf around our necks too.. like F1 theme or something.. zzz.. like i will.. hAhA..

anw the teeshirt is actly made specially for next saturday's arrow service.. which nus cluster is doing all the ops.. yep.. so cool huh.. supposed to really wear shades on that day too.. hA.. so farnie..

my 2nd post of the day!! lolz.. was reading through some blogs.. and came across this on mich's.. really meaningful and power.. good content to ponder and meditate on for days.. ripped it here..

Lord, sometimes I wish I was the one who always had the stage,
that people thought I was wonderful and always gave me praise.

I'd love to get the glory. I'd love to steal the show.
I'd love to watch them standing when I look into the rows.

But what if tonight when I walked on stage I found I was alone,
And all the seats were empty and everyone else was home?

Can I honestly say that I would stay and do my best for You-
If no one else was there to notice all of the things I do?

It makes me wonder....

Would I give it my all if I were always standing on an empty stage?
Would I still go the distance if no one gave me praise?

Would I want to shine so brightly if I was only in Heavenly light?
Lord, would I care to share if it was just You here tonight?

What motivates my actions in everything I do?
Am I really just serving me while pretending I'm serivng You?

Lord, You know how much I need to hear that everyone knows my name.
But if they don't know Yours, how much have I really gained?

So if I should ever stand on stage and listen to the cheers,
Remind me that it's just noise unless Yours are the claps I hear.

Whatever I do in this life, may I always long for Your praise.
Whenever I look to the world for esteem, may Your blood humble me back into place.

And if I should ever get angry for not receiving the credit I'm due,
Lord, remind me that instead of a pat on the back, they gave a cross to You

anw.. i was brought to my boiling point today.. at this class.. seriously.. teenagers nowadays.. totally different from what we were last time.. though actually it aint that quite a long time ago that we were once in sec sch.. hmm.. sigheth..

anw.. shant elaborate here.. this being the internet and free for all eyes thingy..

shall just pray for wisdom and grace to handle this kind of students.. fill them with Godly love.. and i must also master the art of being fierce/strict.. but at the same time not losing my cool, or getting worked up..

not going to be easy.. but anws.. whoever said it is easy being a teacher?

yay.. the weekend is here!!

so fast.. another week's gone.. work was quite fulfilling this week.. was kept busy most of the time.. going for music lessons, relief classes for english and CME, invigilating tests..

especially wed and thurs.. no time for meals.. sigheth.. some classes are still giving me problems.. but other than that.. im growing in favour with the classes/students!! praise God!!

there was my 1st teachers' contact time on tuesday after school, and my 1st out of 3 induction/mentoring meeting on wednesday.. had to do intro again at the contact time.. lolz.. was fun..

oh and i still hate having to reschedule my private piano students lesson timings.. sigheth.. on my mind every single day.. how to fit it all in.. with all the school meetings.. double sigh..

HOD just asked me to plan post-exam music activities for all the sec 1s.. oh manx.. so much planning to be done..

anw.. shall just leave all that to monday.. cos the weekend is here!! my much-needed break!! have to catch up on sleep/rest..

havent blogged for quite long..

i started teaching at the school last wednesday.. it's been 4 days already.. including today.. so far so good.. the students arent exactly angels.. but im sure it's gonna be fine! need some time to really get to know all of them though.. im teaching all the sec 2s btw.. so it's like 360++ students to get to know.. haha..

fellow colleagues at work are awesome!! all very friendly.. and really look after you and give you good advice.. praise God for this favour!!

last weekend, saturday, i went to new town pri with my caregroup to play with the kids!! haha.. teach them a lil of maths and english through fun and simple games yep.. afterwhich we had lunch, den i went to buy more clothes for work..

sunday.. went for 3rd svc with huili, ying ling, gracia, cheryl L, cheryl C.. den had to stay on for 4th to chop seats for karen.. sigheth.. anws.. the msg was good!! super timely!! im lazy to elaborate.. haha..

so as u can see.. my weekend was burnt out.. but i had fun :) super tired though.. was supposed to catch up on my sleep on the weekends.. ohwells.. it was time well spent!

anws.. im home early today.. but there's teacher's contact time tml.. and ive got induction on wednesday.. both till about 6pm.. which means my private piano students schedule is so screwed up.. sigheth.. how how.. this rescheduling and constant thinking about this is super draining lar..

it's 1238am on sunday night (monday morning).. super late.. and i just got home from church, and fellowship with yingling and huili at starbucks suntec.. much happened at the fellowship.. which i will update on a later date due to time constraints.. if i remember..

it's super late.. considering it's my first week of "being a MOE teacher".. gotta wake at 520am later.. to head to my 2-day Teacher Preparatory Course.. which is to equip us, untrained teachers, with basic skills to teach the class in a classroom setting..

will head down to Greendale Secondary School from wednesday.. and that will be my school of instruction till i enrol at NIE for studies..

the favour of Daddy God will be on me.. and im gonna find favour and grace with all my colleagues.. fellow teachers, HOD, principal.. Daddy's strength will work through me, to tackle all the challenges i might face.. and i will come out of them victorious!

gonna have some quiet time with Daddy before i head off to NAP for a short while.. it's gonna be a SUPER week ahead.. with Daddy's SUPER favour and grace SUPERabounding on me!! amen!!

i served for my 1st time at church today!! they were having a mooncake service for the hokkien/mandarin pple.. and needed youths to help pack and distribute mooncakes.. was quite fun.. i must say everyone was really efficient!! hmm..

had dinner with my family after that.. supposedly to celebrate dad's bdae which is on monday.. yep.. we went to this super crowded seafood place at dunno where.. had crabs and stuff.. very bloated now.. so not good for my 'just-recovered-from-food-poisoning' stomach.. lol..

feeling quite tired now.. so fast.. it's sunday already.. start of my new season in life.. hmm.. having super mixed feelings..

oh wellz.. gonna join huili for her church svc at 1030am.. followed by 4th service at new creation..

had food poisoning (self-diagnosed) yesterday.. woke up at 4am tues morning to puke.. seriously puke my guts out kind of puke.. den kept having diarrhoea from 4-6+ am.. till i finally fell asleep.. woke up feeling like crap still.. didnt eat anything the whole day.. except for drinking warm water to prevent dehydration.. yep.. splitting headache.. shivering.. feverish..

got really emo-ed at night.. i have some issues.. on top of being sick.. totally got me emo-ed lar.. thank God for yingling.. spoke to her a while online bout wad's bothering me.. got really comforted.. yep.. thank God.. and like what she mentioned.. just "a soft cry out - Jesus".. can be super comforting.. yep.. it really works.. u shld try..

anw.. am feeling better today.. not totally well.. couldnt really eat anything still.. but i know im healed in Jesus's name.. by His stripes, im so, so, healed.. yep..
