ok a brief update, i didnt manage to wake up for the mandarin service.. but i managed to for the hokkien service.. pastor mark is funny!! ha.. couldnt understand bits and pieces.. but it was good!

joined my caregroup for 3rd service after that.. was good too! especially the fellowship at killiney after that..

just came home from Bridget's wedding.. lazy to describe all that took place.. but it was cool and refreshing! it's More Than Just A Wedding! hA.. took some ideas for my own wedding in future.. lolz..

yingling brought me out to buy my new bible today!! my old one was the New International Version.. bought The New King James Version.. so cool!! the cover is soft leather.. so comforting to touch!! lolz.. totally in love.. haha..

going to attend Bridget's wedding at pasir ris park tml late afternn/evening.. how cool is that huh.. lolz.. looking forward.. 1st time attending a friend's wedding.. i have always attended relative's wedding with parents.. this time for a friend's wedding.. it's gonna be different.. in addition, her wedding at the beach!! lolz.. quite hilarious.. but anticipating excitedly still.. haha..

today's sunday service was simply awesome!! a HUGE crowd came to listen to the Word.. wellz.. there's a crowd every week.. but today's crowd was.. WOAH.. overflowing overflow.. lolz..

last week, pastor shared with us how the Grain, the Wine, and the Oil works concurrently.. shared with us verses from the bible, and asked us to bring a bottle of Olive oil today for anointing so that we cld all bring a part of the service home..

today he further explained the grain, wine and oil.. and also explained why Olive oil is preferred.. at the end of the service, he prayed for the oil we brought..

sounds a tad boring to hear me explain.. but u gotta be there to feel the love!! God's presence was overwhelming.. yea.. how cool is that..

so now all of us have a bottle of oil each.. to apply on every area of lack or disease in our lives.. and watch them prosper and heal!! amen!!!

after service i headed back to pasir ris to join colleagues for cycling.. karen, kelly, houying.. was fun.. showed them the horse stable.. cycled to both ends of pasir ris park.. stoopid spiderweb was under renovation..

den had malay cuisine for dinner.. followed by coffeebean and chit chat session..

had great fun today.. will post up pictures taken by my new cam when i figure out how and where to.. lolz..

i received undeserved, unmerited, unexpected favour from Daddy God yesterday. On an issue that is very close to heart, but im not ready to share it just yet.

but i know that it definitely is the work of God yep. not within my own capability.

oh and im super lazy lar.. after work today im supposed to go for Arrow service.. but guess wad.. i slept.. sleep and sleep.. from 3pm all the way till 6pm.. den lie in bed till 630pm.. now 7pm come online.. zzz.. so sad!! missed all the w&p and the Word.. and fellowshipping with friends over dinner.. arhhh..

cant believe i let laziness get over me.. in the name of Jesus, i command this spirit of laziness out of me! Amen!! haha..

ooo the weekend just flew by and it's almost a week since i last posted.. almost lar.. lolz..

wellz.. one thing i gotta say about today and last wednesday.. sitting at the piano for about 12hrs straight doing piano accompaniment for various violin students at various grades and teaching them aural is NO JOKE manz..

last week and this week.. my back arhh.. my shoulders arhh.. super suan lolz.. one more week to go.. then it's their exams already.. feeling quite stressed about it.. strange.. when they are not even my students.. some pieces are nt well done yet.. hmm.. and some of their aural.. like playing guessing game like that.. zzz..

oh and 1/3 of ootgr flew to russia with the nuschoir for competition last monday.. hmm.. hope they go there and kick some ass though.. haha..

and last sunday at service, pastor prince preached about the grain, the wine, and the oil.. how we have been practising having the Holy Communion every week.. and how he got the revelation that we should be anointing people/object with oil too.. and he quoted examples in the bible..

so church 'hw' for this week is to bring a bottle of oil next week for 'anointing over'? haha im not really sure with all these terms manx.. haha..

went for my 2nd dental appt at the dental centre today.. had scaling and polishing.. my whole mouth hurts now lolz..

decided to go ahead with my wisdom teeth extraction.. discussed with a few doctors/consultants.. they were suggesting that since im still young, i should probably just remove all my 4 wisdom teeth at once.. lolz..

and since i was going to extract all 4 at once, i gotta be put under general anaesthesia instead of the usual local.. there are certain risks involved.. so they will not operate on me at the dental centre.. instead, i gotta be admitted at SGH for the surgery..

the nurse was finding the earliest date possible for the surgery.. guess what? 15th August!! lol.. mum and i was laughing like crazy.. nahh.. after much consideration of my teaching schedule and stuff, i decided on a much later date.. 17 sept..

gotta head down to SGH on 10 sept for pre-admission testing.. and gotta be admitted to the ward on the 16th sept for more testing.. and the operation will be on 17th sept.. then depending on how i fare after the surgery, i may be discharged either on the 17th itself, or the 18th..

hmm.. quite scary.. have never been put to sleep before.. hmm.. and i cant stand the loneliness of being warded.. even though i have been warded at the hospital when i was a toddler before.. not the 1st time.. but somehow.. this time sounds much scarier.. hmmz...

oh! the church camp peeps are coming home tml!! yea!! lolz.

and oh.. i bought a camera for myself and a mp3 for mum at the PC fair today!

im back from mich's 21st bdae celeb cum sleepover!!

the party was great!! with the presence of 7/9 ootgr.. mich, yuan, nad, fel, amanda, sheena, me.. elaine, and mich's nus choir friends.. though i dunno any of her nus choir peeps, with the exception of yuyan! it was good :)

sleepover was only me and yuan.. we spent most of the time sleeping.. haha.. SLEEPover huh lolz..

anw yesterday started off with teaching as usual, then i headed to meet the cg for 3rd service at church.. afterwhich yuyan left for mich's party.. while i joined the queue for 4th service.. 'chopped' seats for karen and houying.. 2 full-time malaysian piano tchers at my music sch yep.. it was cool during praise n worship.. when i was all alone.. cos they came late after work.. i shld try going to church alone more often haz..

and Pastor Mark was simple awesome yesterday! the message was innocent, but super hearfelt.. cos he shared about his personal life, his family, his daughter's testimony.. how God loved him so, and transformed him and his family and stuff.. was super hilarious.. and super touching towards the end.. cried a lil but quickly wiped my tears hoping no one saw lolz.

and i tink that Kailing, pastor Mark's daughter, is super brave.. to give consent to her father for sharing that testimony.. especially when the topic was as such.. yea..

such a fulfilling day!!

woke up early for my private students, den headed down to suntec with my mum.. picked jeryl up from school, den had coffee at starbucks..

at around 2pm, mum sent jeryl to orchard for some class, while i headed to suntec to meet yingling and karen.. went to help out the production team for church camp to draw/colour this super huge banner.. lolz.. the bottom of my feet were all blue after the session!! haha..

packed up at 630-ish.. hanged around, deciding where to go next.. looked at bibles at the rock with yuyan.. den decided to go to tecman with karen and yingling to look at more bibles.. alas!! it was closed.. haha..

so went to bugis junction and had dinner.. walked around, and decided to have an impromptu movie!! PANDA!!! lolz.. SHO CUUUTTEEE!!!

here i am back home.. quite late, very tired from all the late nites and early mornings for the past few days.. sho i shld really go and slp now..

busy weekend ahead.. teaching in the mornings, arrow service on saturday late afternn to evening, normal service on sunday afternn to evening, and 2 must-attend 21st birthday parties on both nites!!

arhh.. i shld really go catch up on beauty sleep.. tata!!

we had a guest speaker at today's serivce.. Reverand Terry Mize..

His msg was so full of life, so deep in meaning.. totally got me.. every single word spoke to me.. the line that got stuck in my head.. the line which he kept repeating was this..

"How Great is your God? Who do you say God is?"

cos whatever you say Jesus is, He will be. If you say Jesus is your healer, He is. If you say Jesus is a 'rainmaker', He is. Reverand Terry shared a testimony about how Jesus became the rainmaker for Zimbabwe (which was having a drought) when he went there to preach.

If you say Jesus is your miracle, in whatever area if your life. He is. BUT if you say that Jesus is limited, then He also is.

So, How Great is your God?
