Last day of year 2007!!

up early to accompany mum for breakfast then shopping for groceries at wet market.. and now im home trying to cool down.. haha.. heading down to sheng siong soon for MORE grocery shopping..

mum's preparing steamboat for dinner later.. to usher in 2008 and also to celebrate maternal grandma's lunar birthday..

gonna meet my CG at 2pm first.. to chill out and share.. they gonna have pool games later oso.. but im afraid i gotta skip that.. family dinner lar.. haha.. but i really hope to be able to be back for the praise and worship session though.. hmm..

oh and Bridget asked me to join BPMC watchnite service too.. it starts at 9pm till after mn.. hmmm.. haha..

tampines mall in the morning with family.. had breakfast.. walked around.. i bought an adidas teeshirt.. quite ex.. but.. haha..

left halfway to meet yuyan and her CG at suntec for New Creation 3rd service.. after that met elaine's CG for 4th service.. again, i teared during praise and worship.. felt His presence during 4th:)

after service, joined Elaine's CG.. which i shld call my future CG for dinner at Subway.. chatted.. got to know them a bit more.. all thanks to Him , my circle of friends just got bigger..

had bak chor mee at tampines for breakfast with family.. then Giant to buy groceries for grandma's bdae celebration at my place on new year's eve..

u noe something real strange happened.. i dunno if it's just coincidence.. but mum couldnt find this certain veg.. she asked me to help look.. i said a lil prayer and ask God to lead me.. and guess wad.. i found it almost immediately!! hmm..

after that headed home.. took a bath.. played some music then dad fetched me and mum to east coast for lunch.. then me to vivo to meet yuan and nad for sn choir megareunion 2.. but it was kinda a flop.. with only the 3 of us turning up.. LOL.. had fun catching up with mrs koh though..

had breakfast in the morning with mum and jeryl.. then headed down to Potong Pasir to meet Elaine and church friends for lunch.. after that to Elaine's place for worship.. it's the first time ive attended this kinda gathering.. and it's been fun!! met many new friends.. and hope to get to know them better along the way:)

mum said something very good today.. she said she allows me to go to church.. and it's all up to me and everything.. so glad.. to think i was hesitant to tell mum that i intend to attend church regularly and stuff..

happy boxing day!!

stayover was fun.. but kinda short.. mich and nad arrived after midnight.. we ate.. till 1 plus.. then settled down.. almost wanted to fall asleep.. till we decided to have a go at twister.. haha.. played a couple of games.. which i seriously suck at.. then slept.. haha..

woke up around 930am.. yuan had to go for her dental appt.. nad and mich hanged around till 4plus.. sent them to the busstop then me and mum went to downtown east to order emicake for grandmum's bdae..

came home after that.. slacked.. read the Bible.. and knocked out for 2 hrs.. woke to dinner.. didnt feel like eating much.. and here i am..

woke up in the morning.. attended service at BPMC.. i was really overwhelmed.. kept tearing so many times.. YuYan said it was common.. like ive felt His presence..

met Bridget after that.. she gave me a students' Bible as a Christmas gift.. so paiseh.. didnt have time to get her a gift.. i didnt expect this.. but it was my best Christmas gift ever..

went back home to prepare stuff for the gathering at night.. ThanX yuan for helping out!! then friends came one by one.. Xinyi, Bel, Jas Lee.. we played.. ate.. then MSTAN came.. played somemore.. chatted.. then Cheryl dropped by to pass presents.. she couldnt stay as her dad was sick and needed to go home.. :(

chatted somemore.. then Bel went home.. then Mstan's bf came.. gave jas lee a lift to tampines.. now only yuan's left.. we are waiting for mich and nad to arrive after their carolling.. haha..

so sad that's everything's over already.. sighz.. but this is definitely the BEST christmas ive ever had in my 20 years on Earth.. giving my life to Christ was the most meaningful thing ive ever done.. i must thank.. first of all, MsTan.. who's probably the 1st person to actually introduce me to God at a personal level.. and of course along the way, ive met people like Bridget, Pearlyn and YuYan, who have helped me cope with this new phase in my life.. and who will be helping me walk the walk.. :)

woke up early for piano lesson.. we spent HOURS on scales can.. after which i was half dead and we still did Beethoven.. kill me please..

after that went home.. had lunch with mum.. polished my piano.. took a bath then headed out to meet yuan at town.. so super crowded!! i forgot to buy liang teh for us and nad and mich.. so guilty.. haha..

watched Nad carol at Shangri-La.. super posh.. then headed down to Grand Copthorne to watch Mich.. met YuYan there too.. so happie.. this Christmas ive met many Christians who will be helping me along the way.. i feel so blessed:)

took pictures.. then dad drove yuan home.. and here i am now.. haha..

many funny things happened in between too.. haha.. but im too lazy to blog.. will stay in my memory forever though.. haha.. read yuan's blog for more.. haha..

just came back from BPMC Christmas service.. it's a smaller scale.. the musical was funny.. Bridget was cool.. and there were a couple of good voices here and there..

but the highlight was.. i accepted Christ today:)

the downside is.. i gotta rearrange my teaching schedule to make time to listen to God's Word.. i pray that i will be able to do it.. and God will guide me.. and i will be able to listen to his Word on a regular basis in a few mths time..

woke up a lil late this morning.. met yuan, then met mstan.. had breakfast.. then headed down to kallang.. took the free shuttle to indoor stadium.. so so so happening!! the whole place was packed!! haha..

the service was very interesting.. started off with singing of carols and hymns.. then the message by Pastor Prince.. then more singing.. more praying.. felt really inspired..

met mstan's friends.. one of whom gave us a gift.. Joyce.. super unexpected.. mstan gave me one too.. haha.. tell me why am i so shy in front of pple.. tell me why mans.. haha..

oh.. met mstan's BOYFRIEND.. fetched us to Kallang MRT after the service.. they look DAMN GOOD together.. im so so so happie for both of them..

i must really thank mstan.. feel super indebted to her.. for praying for me all this while.. and treating me more like a friend than a student.. trusting me enough to tell me her personal problems/stories.. to share her ups and downs with me.. and making me share mine with her too..

aniwaes.. will be heading down to Bethesda Pasir Ris Missions Church at 7pm for Bridget's musical.. she's passing to me her old bible too.. in hopes that i join her Cell Group.. this is so gonna be a great Christmas..

as predicted, it was indeed a great day today..

went out with mum and bro in the morning to whitesands to have breakfast.. there was this grp of NUS Hall choir carolling.. a lil CMI.. haha.. too bottom heavy.. the sops no power.. i think there were only 2 of them.. haha..

then i headed down to Vivo to meet Shauna.. watched Nanking.. which was a DOCUMENTARY.. haha.. some bits are interesting.. but not 'gross' enough for me.. after that we did this painting thingy.. haha.. then had dinner at this really POSH cafe.. haha.. after that went to toy'r'us to buy some games to play on christmas..

headed home after that.. but upon reaching City Hall station, i decided to get off to buy some stuff.. helped my bro buy something for his gf.. then i headed to Crumpler to buy bag.. ended up buying TWO bags.. one for myself.. one for mum's xmas prezzie.. she said she wanted one.. haha.. see im sucha filial daughter.. haha..

in conclusion, i spent a BOMB today.. about 400++ freaking bucks.. haha.. spend like drinking H2O.. haha.. nvm.. it's all worth it.. afterall, it's CHRISTMAS!! the season of GIVING!!

and im so gonna predict another great day tml!! in the meantime, im DEADBEAT.. having slept for about 5-6hrs the past nights.. and tonight again.. gotta wake at 7am to meet mstan...

oh and i had a haircut.. and went for my last violin lesson of the year.. then had a eyebrow trim.. haha.. so vain huh.. haha.. got rid of all the extra hair on my head and face.. haha..

for tml.. going out with mum in the morn first.. then meeting Shauna at vivo gv europa at 3pm to watch Nanking!! yea!! after that, dinner.. Shauna made her maid buy the tickets already.. haha.. quite ex.. $10.. Europa theatre.. what is that mans.. haha.. and quite small.. according to the website..

woke early this morning.. felt real good.. knowing that im free for the rest of the year.. took a bath.. practised piano, practised violin.. then woke mum and dad up.. went to Giant to buy groceries cos bro called his friends over to celebrate his birthday early..

went home.. helped mum prepare steamboat.. then slacked around watching my Coffee Prince.. bro's friends arrived.. and more and more came.. was so bored.. i fell asleep.. from about 6-8pm.. took a bath.. and was kinda irritated that there's so many pple around in the house with none that i know.. and me being a VERY SHY person, refused to socialise..

guess what i did.. i took my sweater, and headed out to tampines mall to catch Alvin and the Chipmunks.. very cute show with a simple storyline.. but still cute nevertheless!! gonna buy their CD.. haha..

and i still cant wait for Sunday to come.. but at the same time knowing that i'll be real sad when this whole christmas mood thingy is over..

a mum of my piano student asked me to acc the girl for her g5 violin exam this february.. a super talented gal.. who started learning piano for not long and is already at g3.. only 10++ yrs old..

feel honoured for her mum to ask me.. ha.. but quite stressful la.. ha.. it's grade 5 la.. haha.. i noe ive just recently done g4 with another girl.. budden.. that was the old violin syllabus.. the 2008-2011 syllabus is much harder.. hmm..

mstan says "why not".. ha.. yea.. me too.. i shld take up the challenge rite.. have more confidence in myself.. LOL..

anw this girl is extremely good to teach.. every single new piece of music u give her in a lesson.. she gets it perfected by the next lesson.. very hardworking, very talented.. just finished teaching her g5 theory which she took last session.. waiting for results.. im sure she'll do well:)

she's got so much under her at such a young age.. g5 violin, g5 theory, g3 piano.. wow.. haha..

spent a bomb at Borders Parkway today.. supposed to buy only The Rape of Nanking.. but i ended up buying more books and CDs.. and a journal for me to write in!! couldnt resist buying the journal cos it looks so cool!! ha..

and it's good to keep a journal.. can imagine me growing old and reading the then yellowed pages.. ooo.. COOL! haha.. im crazy..

went for blood donation at Blood Bank today.. actually was accompanying my mum to national dental centre for her appt.. so while waiting i went to donate blood.. made an appt last night.. collected quite a number of those "stress balls" thingy already.. so cute!!

and since i donated 4 times this year, i could collect a dry-tech tee shirt too!! ha.. 3 or more times entitle u to one.. wahaha.. i noe im sucha cheapo.. haha..

a part of me wants to collect all these small lil things, another part of me wants to save lives!! really.. wahaha..

oh and i seriously wanna go watch the movie Nanking.. and get the freaking cool storybook The Rape of Nanking by Iris Chang.. even though i bought a few million storybooks from parkway Borders recently and haven't exactly finished reading them..

dun care.. tml go buy.. wahaha.. hopefully can find.. i noe u dunno i like to read rite.. wahaha.. i noe relatives used to call me bookworm when i was young.. just couldnt get my head off the storybooks.. they follow me when i eat, when i sleep, and even when i do business in the toilet.. wahaha..

then headed home.. quite quite tired.. and guess wad.. my cousin whom i smsed earlier on is at my table working on my internet!! and it's DONE!!!! woohoo!!

my com is faster than usual, and the internet is up!!! doing some windows updates now.. so still a bit laggy.. but he said it'll be fast after all's done!!

my laptop is reformatted!! wahaha..

brought it back to school for service.. all thanx to 7788 who helped me find the place as the old MEL was no longer existent.. ha..

the guy was so helpful!! He reformatted the whole thing, cleaned my com, and reinstalled all the software such as Microsoft office blah blah.. so now my com is super "clean".. and quite fast too.. compared to before.. with all the unneccessary junk..

BUT guess wad.. i cant seem to connect my laptop to the router at home.. lol.. i remember we always had trouble with this.. even with my bro's laptop last time.. always had to ask the IT experts in my family to come over and help..

sobz.. so now, ive got my laptop in working condition, but no internet..zzz.. like seriously wad's the point.. ha..

ANIWAY, i gotta go now.. it's ESCAPE day!! and the sun is shining damn brightly!! we are so so so lucky, last 2 days were raining NON STOP.. ha.. hope it lasts though.. :)
