the AB PDP seminar was great!! ha.. each seminar i go to get better and better.. ha.. the presenters were awesome!! after attending all these music seminars, i always feel so inspired and motivated.. to teach and to learn..

and i bought so many books and stuff.. over 200 freaking bucks.. i cant believe it.. and the shop, Tempest Music, is owned by Ms Lim Ai Hooi!! so shocked to see her when i reached in the morning.. i was like the first few to reach.. so had some time to chat with her.. i cant believe she actually remembers me.. so so touched:)

i bought mostly grades 6, 7, 8 violin exam and scales new syllabus.. and also 3 music bags, and 3 other books for my own reading and upgrading..

after the seminar, met yuan and we went bugis to walk around.. could have shopped more if i wasnt carrying my violin and my super duper heavy bag.. hai.. so sad.. ha..

anw.. tml is 1st of sept.. i officially start teaching more students now.. saturday, sunday, monday, tues is dedicated to Ossia.. wed, thurs to Lowrey.. and friday for my own violin and piano lessons..

and i aim to spend AT LEAST 2 hrs for practising piano and 1 hr for practising violin on weekdays.. hope that i carry through all these.. :)

ooo.. ABRSM PDP seminar tml.. im so worried i cant find the place.. despite the countless times ive been there.. masterclasses with Pam Wedgewood, and the many times i actually PERFORMED there.. LOL.. ooo i even emcee-ed there before.. wahaha.. cant imagine..

am supposed to meet 4 other teachers there.. cos only one of the bukit timah branch teachers has got our tics.. zzz.. the funny thing is.. that teacher who got our tics know me.. but i DO NOT know her.. raymond says im supposed to know her.. ya rite.. haha.

so.. dunno her how to meet her? stand there like a retard?? hmm..

woke up really early today with mum to join jeryl and his school for their excursion to the kids' kampong at pasir ris.. his parents were supposed to join him.. but since they both cmi, me and mum stepped in! ha..

it was really fun!! we started off with FISHING!! ha.. sounds stupid but it's DAMN HARD to catch any fishes with those nets they gave us.. and jeryl keeps throwing back those fishes that i helped him catch..

then we had feeding session for kois, geese, chicken, rabbits.. then there was the pet show.. different kinds of mice, rats, rabbits.. lastly was refreshments.. bread, drinks, ice-cream.. the kids are so so adorable!! the animals there too!!

was really shagged after that.. helping to look after all those kids.. afraid they'll fall into the water and so on.. i kinda sprained my muscle at the knee too.. headed down to ikea to get stuff.. then whitesands.. shagged

my new teaching schedule is out.. and it's damn damn full.. wahaha..

ooo and ive got a ABRSM seminar this friday.. and dad took leave for that day.. so sad cannot go out.. but nvm!! dad can fetch me!! lala..

went out shopping with yuan after teaching today.. damn hilarious la.. both of us out together.. ha.. im too too tired to describe all the happenings.. ha.. but it was a good outing!! ha..

ooo.. and i received my first teacher's day gift today.. a bit too early hor.. ha.. but she's so sweet.. a P6 gal.. lala..

feeling tired now.. dun feel like doing anything.. zzz.. maybe prac violin.. tata..

my life at SGH has come to a close.. it was quite a memorable and touching close to this chapter of my life..

bought chocolates and made individualised cards for them.. and took pics with some of my colleagues in the lab.. my super-hot and capable in-charge refused.. saying she was camera-shy.. sobz..

a new chapter of my life starts.. and i wish to make this chapter a fulfilling one.. where my goals are reached.. and expectations satisfied..

my students' practical results are out.. glad that all passed.. even those that i was worried will fail.. a couple got merit.. quite satisfied with most of their performance.. but some of them disappointed me..

why am i awake and online so late?? well, because i did not go to work today.. and i dun intend to go tml either.. no one shld noe about that tml.. so we shall keep it real quiet ok?? ha.. lame..

aniwaes.. my violin teacher ms veneta asked me to help teach one of her private student grade 4 aural and be her accompanist for her exam.. i agreed to it after consulting my parents and mstan.. ha.. i was worried that i will not make it in time for her exam.. cos i only stop work at sgh after 25th.. her exam will be in sept but exact date not out yet.. but anihows.. since mstan is so supportive, i took up the challenge..

had the first lesson with her at my place 2 days ago on sunday after i finished teaching at ossia.. her parents wanted to sit in.. but it wasnt convenient and comfortable.. since it was my place and all.. so i told them just that..

lesson went on very well.. cos she's sec 1 already.. can think for herself.. ha.. her songs are quite nice.. i learnt her violin part in less than 1hr after she left.. lol.. and kinda finished learning 2 of the 3 piano parts already.. kinda relieved.. and will prob be playing them for mstan tml nite when i see her..

she's quite weak at her sight singing though.. strange.. considering she's in choir in her sec school.. hmm.. shall think of new ways to help her.. and because i may start taking in private students of my own, dad is gonna rearrange the house and bring my piano into the study room!!

im really glad to have supportive parents.. though sometimes i feel that they are a lil unfair.. hmm.. nvm.. some things are best left unsaid.

and maybe it's almost the time of the month again.. im getting all emo and stuff.. zzz..

just in case u're wondering, ive not disappeared from the face of the earth yet.. just didnt have the time and mood to come online..

been back at SGH for one week already.. left 2 more weeks and im outta there!! cos the big boss is letting me go on 25th.. the day when pay is given out.. so nice huh.. feel quite she bu de.. ha.. but oh wells.. ive made my decision and there's no turning back..

from next month on, which is September, I will be teaching at Ossia on saturday, sunday, monday and tuesday.. and will be teaching at Lowrey on wednesday and thursday.. fridays will be spent on my piano and violin lessons.. yep.. so that makes me occupied EVERYDAY.. wahaha..

btw.. i gotta blog about this.. something really farnie happened during my lesson with mstan last nite.. ha.. we did a little prayer together!! lol.. isnt that farnie.. ha.. she was just praying for me la.. im really grateful that God planned for us to know each other.. she's more like a sister to me.. :)
