nuthing much happened these few days.. it's the sch hols.. life has been quite quite monotonous.. but fulfilling nevertheless.. teaching, driving, piano.. that's about it.. hmm.. sounds boring.. but i quite like it.. yea.. :)

ABRSM Professional Development Programme Seminar for teachers coming up on friday.. exciting lei.. lol.. time to learn how to be a better teacher.. hA.. actually it's more of introducing the new exam syllabus to us and how to go about bringing out the best in our students.. yea.. hA..

my tcher said they will be selling books at a very cheap cheap rate for tchers there.. so.. anyone wanna buy any books?? juz tell me den i see whether have nt.. hA..

oh and i freaking sprained my right ankle on the way home late from piano class on tues nite.. hmm.. was getting off the bus.. was so dark i din notice there was a hole in the pavement.. stepped right into it and my foot like totally got twisted 90deg inwards i think.. but as there were ppl behind me getting off the bus too, i juz pretended nothing happened and walked on.. when it hurt like hell.. lol.. so limped all the way home.. changed and sleep, hoping it'll be fine.. but no.. still hurts now.. mum say if still nt ok gotta go see a sinseh.. lol.. my 1st time lei.. hA..

very late le.. on a side note, i really dun like my grandma.. hmm.. dunno why.. juz cant stand every single thing about her.. hmm.. nitez all..

glad that joakim is still in the competition. though i agree that his singing is weak, i feel that the judges went a tad too far.. by tellin his voters to give him a "dignified exit" from the competition..

no one broke any of the competition rules voting for him to stay.. u guys set the rules, the public likes him, votes for him, he stays. and isnt it really bad to hear the judges criticise him in a way which will make him feel damn bad that he's still in the competition?? he didnt choose to stay alrite, voters juz voted for him, so he HAS TO stay.

but i do agree that singapore idol is more of a popularity contest rather than a singing contest. IF it is a singing contest, the rules would NOT include the results to be 100% public votes. cos that means that the judges professional opinion will not be counted at all.

hmm.. so i conclude, either the producers change the rules regarding 100% public votes to include maybe 50% judges votes?? or everyone juz keep quiet and stop telling joakim's fans to stop voting for him. :)

oh btw did i mention that i went for a haircut last fri juz b4 my final exam paper.. it's so freaking short now.. my bro said it's like almost botak.. there's hardly any fringe.. and the whole thing is juz S-H-O-R-T.. felt quite guilty after the haircut.. din expect the stupid guy to cut so short.. and it's my fault that i forgot to tell him i wanna keep my fringe..

hmm.. anw.. i made a promise to someone nt to cut my hair till juz b4 my concert in nov.. n it's gonna be juz a lil trim to keep it neat.. that's like about 3 mths from now.. will resist the temptation n try really hard to keep that promise :)

hmm.. juz realised that my fellow OoTgR-ians are doing real well.. juz a lil history.. OoTgR was kinda formed back when we were all in sec 1 at chij st nicholas girls' sch.. all 9 of us joined choir and were always together where singing was concerned.. each and every one of us has a great passion in singing.. and still has.. the name "OoTgR" only came about when we were in sec 4.. took part in SYF and won our GOLD under the baton of Mrs Suzanna Koh.. we felt really proud and happy then.. :):) so OoTgR is still around up till now.. we meet up occasionally.. mostly during our syf'03 gold anniversary.. hA..

ootgr members consist of Amanda, Felyna, Jiaxun, Joanne, Michelle, Nadiah, Sheena, Yuanzhen and me..

after O's, Amanda and felyna went to HCJC, Joanne to ACJC, Michelle to NJC, Nadiah to AJC, Sheena and Jiaxun to VJC and yuanzhen to TJC.. if u noticed.. everyone went to the top 5/6 jcs.. well.. everyone.. except me..

now after A's, Michelle and Yuanzhen are at NUS arts, Nadiah is in NUS law, felyna and joanne rejected NUS law to do something else.. hear that felyna has got some really prestigious scholarship to study some kind of business, and Joanne is goin to New York, Sheena and Amanda goin SMU i think.. and jiaxun is goin to the states..

see.. everyone's doing really well.. everyone.. except me.. welldone..

my birthday juz ended like a few minutes ago..

had a simple bdae.. ate mee sua with one egg for tradition, ate chocolate fondue at haagan daaz, had steamboat at home and bdae cake for dinner with family..

dad gave me angbao.. quite a big one.. even mum was surprised at his sudden generosity.. thanx to my classmates for the really sweet present.. thanx to those who wished me a good day via msn and sms.. shant mention any names here in case i miss out any.. to those that forgot, u are forgiven.. hA..

ok.. had my 1st driving prac.. went to kallang stadium there.. instructor is a funky woman.. lol.. i stalled 3 times.. really hard at first gear starting off.. hA.. but instructor said i was nt bad!! hA.. learnt to turn here turn there.. change gear up to 3rd gear.. and went out to the road!! hA.. quite an achievement huh.. hA.. overtook buses and stuff.. woo.. next lesson will be quite a while later.. gotta study for exams!!!!!! next lesson will be on my last day of exams.. hA..

lastly, my life is kinda sucky now.. cant seem to do things the way other pple want it done.. in all aspects.. sch and outside sch.. it's so hard to please everyone.. too many commitments.. but i cant do anything bout it.. only thing i can do, is to learn to juggle.. but it's hard.. juggling 2 balls is easy.. but 3 balls and more?? and pple juz dun seem to understand.. so it becomes my fault.. like i dun care, when i seriously do..

so for now, life really sux.
